VÚB Mobile Banking

VUB brings you a new version of Mobile banking for Android 4+ where you can set your own PIN code for quick login to the application and transaction authorisation. Moreover the application can be used as a security tool for Internet banking and Call Centre transaction authorisation.
How to activate the application?For setting the PIN code, the application shall be activated by inserting the activation code. To obtain the code, click on “Activation of Mobile Banking “ in upper menu, section “Settings”.The activation code is also available in web application “ Mobile Banking”. After pressing the button "Acquire the activation code" in the tab Information, you will be directly routed into the activation section.

What does the application bring to you?
- overview of accounts and cards , their balances and account movements
- loan list, On-line Loan application
- overview of investments and their existing values
- enter the payment from QR or a bar code
- setup 4 products on main page
- overview and set-up of notifications onto a tel. number, e-mail or into a message inbox
- inbox for messages received from the bank

How much will I have to pay for the service?Mobil banking as well as all new VÚB Nonstop banking services are free of charge.

More often tabs and option doesn't work and kicks me out of the app. They really need to work on the reliability and functions of the app. I have been struggling using it sometimes i don't even count that i have a banking app in my phone.

A few years ago it used to be a nightmare... now, getting better with each update. I am using both - VUB and Tatra Banka and they are both the best on the market. VUB app is more simple and intuitive, you can customize it in many ways. But, when I want to see the structure of pending payments, it's complicated. TB app is more sophisticated, but when using the asset management, VUB shows me more information. Keep up the good work

Generally OK. The one negative is advertisement across half of the display on the main page. What for? I want to see info about my account(s), not ad about something I don't want to see. At least make it smaller. It is really annoying. On the other side, app is fine, using it daily and do not face any troubles.

Absolutely fantastic bank. Really helped with my issue with the app. Be advised, until updated you can't activate it when abroad. Bear with their customer services, they aren't the quickest but were able to deal with my problem in English. Thanks VUB, always been the best bank I've ever used in SK.

The loading of the tips on the first screen takes a little bit longer than the rest of the interface...it happens fairly regularly that I open the app try to insert my fingerprint and only then the UI loads the tips elements and the fingerprint icon moves a little bit causing me to misclick. Maybe have the finger print icon load at the same time as tips, or put tips in such postition that the icon would not move ?

Activation was successful, however you can not log in for security reasons. To sign in to the app, please call Kontakt service to unlock your activation in order to use it. Are you serious? Why don't you also require me to go to the branch personally with with lawyer authenticated documents while we're at it. You used to be a good, modern bank, it's just sad that that was 13 years ago. Blocking debit cards for normal transactions and only way to unblock them is phone or personal, now this. Sad.

Please add option to add other products like loans etc. to the homepage (like it is on the web version of internet banking). Also categorization of debit transactions would be a nice feature to have. And please, dark theme, in 2020 should be a mandatory feature. Otherwise the app is above expectations so great job overall, add these 3 things and you'll probably catch up with Tatra Banka app. Also having viamo directly on the login screen of the main app is amazing feature thanks!

App does not work or they do not care about their customers. This bank is a joke. Constatly people are excusing themsleves for making you wait but nothing changes. Go to other banks not this one and you will never know how bad it is. If you go with them I wish you all good luck waiting for them and their slow services. I am waiting for more than 1 month for a credit card. I have applied 3 times for it and all times they did not even bother to send the papers for approval. GJ
