Your app doesn't work which means the glasses don't work. That app closes as soon as it opens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. I've tried to reboot both phone and glasses and still nothing. I messaged your company a few days ago notifying them of the situation but mo response. Definitely would not recommend until the app situation get resolved. Only other thing is that it doesn't get loud enough. I have to use sound boosters which in turn makes the music sound like doodoo

Latest update crashes app on startup, rendering it completely unusable. Pixel 6 Pro with latest system update.

App is broken. Won't even open, just says "app keeps closing." Brand new glasses can't even be used since app won't work.

App crashes constantly. Have deleted and reinstalled. Will not stay open.

Overall, the app isn't bad but is not quite finished. The indicator on the glasses don't work regardless of what I set. The user interface is a bit clunky pre successfully paired, and I've had to reinstall the app to get the app to show paired, despite listening to music via the paired phone. I wish I could change my voice assistant in the app after it's set and that it didn't greet me as 'welcome back, your' because I didn't have a chance to look through every setting on initial boot up.

The app is one of the worst apps I've ever installed. The app cannot stay connected to the glasses even with permission to run in the background and worse, it cannot reconnect anymore once the connection is lost. So you must unpair all Bluetooth devices, reinstall the app and reconnect the glasses. And you need to do all of this a couple of times per day because IT CANNOT STAY CONNECTED. Also, the app is full of other bugs but there is not enough space here to list all of them. Total garbag

it was very difficult to even get the app to work, it would not let me sign on with the account i created online, and would only work if i signed in with Facebook. The app seemed to have a lot of trouble connecting to the glasses, I was able to connect my phone's Bluetooth pretty easily, but the app crashed multiple times before it was able to connect to the glasses. The app seems to also like to randomly crash a lot. Also not going to lie, the audio quality is pretty much hot garbage on these.

The vue glasses are great (classic with photochromatic lenses.) The application is horrible. I have a top of the line android phone and it is up to date. The glasses connect fine but the app is terribly coded. None of its functions work. It is quite a let down as i have been waiting and watching vue for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. I was hoping the app would not be as awful as the reviews stated.

Like others have said, the LED doesn't work for notifications and the glasses don't stay paired. Since the main reason I got these was for the notification light, this is disappointing. I hope this can be fixed with a firmware update, as well as adding basic Bluetooth headphone functionality like adjusting the volume through the control panel and having the phone's ringer and notification sounds routed through the glasses instead of the speaker. No one but me needs to know that I have a text.

Glasses are great, but the app has seemingly endless connectivity issues. I have no problem pairing the audio with my phones inherent Bluetooth, but after about 30 attempts, restarting, reinstalling, and doing all the troubleshooting, it's only been able to stay paired to the app for about an hour out of the past 12 hours. For that 1 hour, though, everything worked great. Unfortunately, the app connectivity renders 90% of the glasses functions useless. Must fix!

Non-working app and poor bone conduction. It can work on itself without the app but the sound quality is super bad. When I am in commute,i cannot hear the music even when the volume is at the maximum. 1 day of use and it has become a white elephant and dumped into the drawer now. Well at least I have a spare glasses should my current one breaks apart.

Love the glasses. Connects pretty well. App is a bit of concern. It takes a while for it to connect (sometimes it just stays at connecting). Have tried linking Google fit for the steps, and it doesn't seem to work. Looking forward to when the app issues are sorted as this will help with the overall experience.

The app is a tiny bit painful. It.. doesn't do much. Anything? It doesn't seem to actually track steps at all. Battery level checks, it's faster to close the glasses and reopen them to get the popup notification. However, the glasses were worth every penny and day of wait. Clear easy to hear, and private for watching scary movies that give my kid nightmares. I just ignore the app and move on, only keeping it keep so the the glasses stay paired. I would love to see tap to hear battery level.

Like many others here, I'm STILL just having trouble with the app itself. My phone recognizes the glasses and has no trouble connecting to them, but the app doesn't. After unpairing and repairing, once again the phone recognizes the glasses and connects with them easily, but the app stays stuck in the "connect" stage. When it was previously connected, the notification lights also didn't work at all, and the step count/calories burned seemed way off. Overall sadly disappointed to say the least.

It's on track, when i got my glasses i had no issues with downloading the app and getting it to work. I have realized that only the right side works well for the sound the left side is much weaker. The next issue i have is the charging case, it works but it's extremely difficult to put the glasses in the case at the perfect angle to get the sunglasses to charge. I feel the case needs a lot more work. I literally struggle daily to get my glasses to charge.

I unfortunately have to agree with the majority of reviews here. Got my Vue glasses after waiting a long time and was quite excited. Setup and Bluetooth pairing was challenging and took about 4 tries before I got it to pair. I was instantly notified that there was a firmware update. I said okay and the app crashed instantly. Now when opening it, the app won't connect to the glasses. So I guess si just have glasses with a Bluetooth speaker, but at this point no supporting app at all.

Sadly the companion app is, in its current state, unusable. Like so many others here, I am able to pair the glasses with my phone through the android Bluetooth settings screen without any problems. But sadly it's impossible to do it through the app (following the how to pair tutorial video as far as I can), nor does the app recognise my glasses if I manually pair them. I'm able to initiate the Google assistant and pause/resume playback, but no advanced features supposedly accessible via the app

Recent update fixed the unable to pair glasses with account bug. However the connection is not clean. It does pair, but tells you it fails in the process. If you click the try again button the pairing is a success. Still only giving this 3 stars. I'd really love to use these glasses without having to pair it to the app constantly. If I disconnect the glasses at all to the phone (such as walk out of range of bluetooth) the connection to the app fails and I lose notifications, and the ability to reconnect simply by reopening the app. Have to restart the phone, and re-pair.

So I had the Bose glasses, but someone stole them, so I got these to replace them. The app seems pointless as changing the volume does nothing and my steps do not show up. The sound is no where near as clear and i feel the vibration from the sound on my temples. Also, the protruding speakers are uncomfortable. Not really getting the bone conducting sound experience. Bose is far superior.

After latest android update (Galaxy S10, Tmobile, Sept 2019) app crashes on launch. Before it stopped working, it barely functioned, but did work to pair the headset. Changing the touchpad functions never worked. Fitness tracking seemed to work but havent been able to get enough data yet to compare accuracy. Too many gimmicks in the app, you need to work on a way to boost audio volume and improve simple function. Also would love to have an SDK to leverage the IMU for binaural audio.

👓 are great, they could be a little smaller. App is not working correctly. Functions that work are: - Long tap for google assistant - Double tap for time or number of steps(but i think it doesn't count my steps.. can't check because I have it set to time and I'm not able to change it because I cant connect to the app) - Swipe for next/previous track/video Functions that don't work: - Led doesn't work - can't connect to the app - step count

i honestly think that the app and product itself is biased :'( vue in general ia for iOS only. I've successfully paired vue and my phone, and it says update is available. but when i try to update, it always return the same error - update failed. and as others have mentioned, it's not true bone conduction audio. people can definitely hear what you're listening to. oh and can't even connect to google fit.

Took the app many tries to find the glasses although they were in pairing mode or connected to the phone. The app doesn't "see" the glasses when they are connected to the phone most of the time. When it finally finds the glasses, the popup "Vue synced" doesn't disappear. The steps don't seem to sync at all. For now, the glasses seem to work as earphones well, but the app feels like a bad beta. OnePlus 6 with Android 10

The app is easy to navigate. The glasses are well done, the audio is good and calls come through clear and the microphone is good that others can hear crystal clear with no problems. Looking forward to full functionality as the next update should be fix the issues with Android. For new features 1) an option for swipe actions to ignore calls. 2) Separation Alert so when you get out of range the glasses will alert you that you are leaving your phone behind. Vue Support is also amazing!

Sam. W. Sep 14, 2020

The app is terrible. Literally doesn't work. The glasses are fine and you can use Bluetooth but the app just simply will not work. Sometimes it'll register that you have your glasses paired and then you swap another app and it disconnects. It's trash. It's a real shame as there's some real potential here but sadly it's broken at this moment in time.

Gre. S. Sep 5, 2021

Unable to get LED notifications to work and often drops connection to the app and refuses to reconnect until the glasses are forgotten and readded. The UI in the app is pretty good. Would just like it to work with the glasses, am hopeful an update will resolve these issues. There's one pending, I'll add an edit if it helps. Edit, can't even log in anymore so that's good.

Mic. D. Feb 25, 2020

Sadly this is really not a fun experience. The glasses themselves are, at this point, cumbersome headphones. Since the app can't connect to them I can't use the additional functionality like time, Google assistant, etc. All it is is a Bluetooth speaker. And there are better devices for that. It's sad because I really wanted to like the app and glasses.

Ron. C. Sep 13, 2021

Needs a bit more work on the app. Rarely connects to the app (connects to phone no problem though) so setting are not synced. The most annoying thing is that the app requires internet to log in. Most of the time at my work there is no reception nor wifi and I cannot log into the app to even try to connect. More customizations for the control panel would be really cool and make my life easier. Edit 2: glasses unresponsive and app crashes when trying to sync

Poor, leaky bone-conduction audio. Furthermore, App doesn't really work in that, even when my Vue glasses connect to my phone and I can listen to things/call people, the app still tells me I need to connect Vue before I can change settings (like increase the volume, which is almost always necessary). Kinda disappointed that I waited 3 years for these just to be let down by poor quality and poor app development.

This is a proper fail. The glasses won't connect to Bluetooth on my phone, the app won't recognise my account, the support email disappears into a black hole somewhere on another planet. I mean seriously, how hard can it be to make something that connects to Bluetooth? I haven't checked yet to see if they block out the sun, but going by all the other problems, I think I could be forgiven for having my doubts. Come on Vue, at least look like you are trying.
