Vuze Torrent Downloader

Vuze is a great app. I've read many complaints about vuze pausing when the screen goes off, this used to happen to me. Turns out vuze uses a lot of battery power and the battery manager apps including the default one in Android tend to pause the app even if you set it to have background permissions. In Android 10 (probably in other versions too) theres a battery option called adaptive battery, I turned that off and the issue of vuze pausing when I change apps of turn the screen off disappeared

I bought the full version and it keeps freezing on checking files before download starts. Not sure if its frozen or just slow, but I got the free version of FLUD and it works right away. Hope devs can fix this somehow.

Been a loyal user of vuze/azureus for years. Paid all the way. Lately I have found the app to be horrible, crashing constantly, not downloading in background (it's not on the sleeping app list and my phone is off power saving). I really wish it would work well :-(

Doesn't search properly; nothing shows up in search when I search with it. I have to type it in myself, regardless of the browser; so, that means that, at least by default, nothing will dl using this app. Other users are apparently getting what I am sharing, through Vuse; but, I can't dl anything myself, making it, at least, virtually pointless having it taking up space on my device, let alone trying to use it too dl anything. I am very close to uninstalling. And I will if nothing changes.

Having issues where it was working fine up to 20%, then all of a sudden i lost connection to every single seeder and it will not reconnect. I can only be connected to 1 single peer, with a DL speed of 64kb/s. Help

Works well, like the pc version. Pc version has 100 times the customization. Don't buy the pro version. Absoluty no more controls than the free version. Very effective product, regardless of these cons.

simply worst app 1. i downloaded something and when it finished download it prompted me to download it again which i cancelled and it deleted the file along with it 2. never downloads in background 3. kills itself when its in background for a while 4. fails to initialize out of nowhere 5. keeps on restarting , so you have to reset app and do everything again 6. only downloads on lock screen , if to was open on the screen you lock

Starts multiple downloads SIMULTANEOUSLY, even if ONLY ONE DOWNLOAD is kept unpaused. Also, the app has to be restarted after some time. Upload speed has to be adjusted EVERY SINGLE TIME. May delete after current download is complete.

Its been great ! But it has started vibrate the phone based on refresh interval. Every second makes my phone go crazy. So I keep it on 1 minute interval and it vibrates every 1 minute

It is hard to believe that a program that works well on the PC can be so bad on Android. I have tried it three times not and never got any downloads. So disappointed.

uninstalled the app because when the phone's screen used to sleep the app stopped all downloads. Constantly had to check the status of downloads. this is very frustrating. because of this it used to take days for downloading.

Worse app ever won't download things and also keeps vibrating continuous in the background as soon as magnet link selected. Doesn't matter which site the link is from

I hate having to rate this app witb only 2 stars... heres why. In Settings when i click on the download destination tab, Vuse shuts down. Also, the scan doesn't detect any of my video downloads. I've been a Vuse user (pc/laptop) for at least 5 years. This is the first time i tried to use Vuse on my android...

refuses to download while screen is locked. been through every possible setting. it's definitely an issue with the app (galaxy note 9)
