App has element of intentional misleading customer practises. When you select ticket from the schedule it shows you the buy option no matter how far in the future you will select. At the buy step it shows notification about validity of the ticket only for three hours from time of purchase which is misleading, as I had understud it as valid for three hours from selected time of the ticket and this understanding was supported by the option to buy from the schedule, in the end (-60) eur.
App should have ability to turn off it opening up to add a polygo card whenever I hold my Personalausweis to the phone for NFC usage with AusweisApp2. It opens up EVERY time. It's maddening.
Acceptable online ticket buying and notifications features. But the NFC polygo card detecting feature is not running on Android 12, Nokia 8.3.
It used to be a pretty good app, but no more unfortunately. 1. It crashes when you try to check the detailed schedule for the trip and there are delays and cancellations in the schedule marked with red exclamation sigh. 2. Instead of real "Live map" it shows completely virtual one, based on the initial schedule but not on the real coordinates of the transport. E.g. if stop is cancelled or moved temporary, app shows old route and old place for the stop which can cost you a missed connection. 3. During registration it is not possible to select a proper date of birth in an easy way by only clicking, instead you need to scroll years and dates back for several decades into the past of you are older then 10 years.
I removed a star because it's still a big problem. 2021.11 It takes a really long time to make a ticket purchase so you're still better of paying at a machine when the bus or train is on its way. It also NEVER completes the purchasing process the first try. I have to close the app and start again, every time. The onboarding process was ok. Could be better explained to avoid confusion with how your tickets are saved, a trip and how to make a purchase. Will this review be seen by vvs dev?
I use this app since 2016. It's not the most intuitive app but I never had problems with it until now when I need to change my payment method and it won't be accepted. I got following answer from support: "As part of the registration process, our financial service provider LogPay Financial Services GmbH carries out a review of the details and the creditworthiness of the person. This was rejected." And now I'm asking myself, what kind of creditworthiness do you need to be able to purchase a 5€ S-Bahn Ticket ? To all new users... if you install it, you will be able to view schedules and search routes but nothing more, because you are probably not creditworthy. PS: the 1€ is refunded, not right away but after 5-6 days.
Unable to add a payment method (be it either credit card or German bank account). As such, this application is effectively useless. Even as a navigation tool, Google Maps is far superior, as VVS will frequently list my intended destination as "impossible" or requiring excessive transit time due to a non-optimized route. Additionally, the menus/settings layout is incredibly poor. Whoever programmed and approved this app deserves to be fired.
really bad UI and UX. Can't buy a day ticket because UI doesn't let me enter the two zones. Also you need to know how many zone the travel needs to buy a ticket, but the trip finder shows the trip but not the number of zones... Probably a usable app for locals. Needs a complete rework and user tests involving tourists.
My experience was same as almost all other reviewers below.. app doesn't allow you to add any payment methods and gives you some error code with which you simply can't do anything to fix it. Basically useless app if you want to buy tickets. Funny thing is, inspite of so many complaints about basic problems like payment methods, VVS app update history shows that they are working on hi-fi things like Live-Karte!!! Hey VVS, atleast let poor (helpless) travellers know what they can do if they get an error in adding a payment method..😢😢
Logpay financial services provider useless: credit card as payment method was denied despite all data being accurate and my credit card provider had approved the payment. When contacted, Logpay said the reason for rejection was an issue with my Schufa record (German creditworthiness rating agency), but they refused to provide details. It turned out, however, that my creditworthiness was excellent and all in order. Since electronic tickets are an essential part of the VVS app, I can only give 1/5
Would be very helpful app if worked (if i could pay through the app) Card verification process is failing and doesn't properly process verification response. Throws "Rejected" when card was verified and 1 euro charged (N26 card). SEPA configuration doesn't work either. Since payment functionality doesn't work, remove it please, because it feels quite annoying to have this carrot on a stick.
It kind of works and that's about it. I suggest using it to get a vague idea of when the buses/trains arrive but dont plan with it. If it says the train is coming too late it'll come perfectly on time and you'll miss it, if it says the train is on time it'll generally come 10 minutes late. Also the servers are down quite frequently which is annoying.
worst app and worst support team. After numerous tries, not able yo add payment method using my travel card. Each try took 1€ but could noy make out in any chance. Support team is sending quite similar answers to everyone for this problem as i read the other reviews, but they hv no workaround for it. Local people recommend to use this app for easier commute in city but this app making the experience worst. SSB-Move app evolve out as same and hv same bugs.
It works. BUT when it comes to ticket purchase it loads forever and after 2 3 or more minutes the price appears. Unfortunattely i am already in the buss with a ticket from the driver so the app is useless most of the times. Perhaps the developers of the app should focus more on the request of this dpecific api. Danke 😁
Terrible implemetation. "Downloading resources", "load resources", "synchronizing" whatever all the time, every day 🤷♂️ Users are forced to spend more time looking at spinning wheel, than they actually can spend using the app
The widget keeps crashing since the last update. Sometimes it works for days, sometimes for weeks. Then suddenly it won't open the ticket anymore.
Okay this app needs to get fixed. I've tried updating my info for my payment method even though it was already saved it keeps giving me an error I don't know why because my new address is the correct one and accurate and still giving me an error which I don't understand what it is asking me for. The error message is so broad and a lazy way to tell you what to fix which in fact it does not.
Takes 10 minutes to manually buy a ticket, which is forced on you from an S station as they do not sell tickets to U destinations. Accepts cards if unregistered, but rejects if you create an account. Doesn't plug into Google so takes an age to fill in all the boxes. Awful UX.
I have been using the app for years in general it's useful and customer service is very good. However, on August 14, 2020, I tried to buy a ticket and it showed "purchase rejected, ID not registered" and I tried the ticket machine which still connected to the same VVS backend which rejected my EC card, however, the train conductor S60 still let me and my 3 year old daughter get on the train. I got a 60 euro pre-bill from DB Prüfer. I've filed a complaint to VVS and DB.
As others said before, I can't add any payment method - Mastercard or Visa, credit or debit, PLN or EUR. None of them are working. Did not try SEPA. App is useless without possibility to buy a ticket.
Not accurate... I waited for so long and the bus did not even arrive....
It works fine for schedule check But i have never been able to book a ticket on time with this app in last 3 months It hardly loads to the payment page Very disappointing.. Please fix to the one it was 6 months ago
Recently noticing that Logpay charges my bank for amounts not parallel to ticket prices (e.g. charged me €3.77 - which is neither two single tickets at €4.74 or a day ticket at €5.00) OR for tickets I am sure I have not made (I work from home - so only use the Ubahn for work related trips once or twice a week). Will be uninstalling today.
Really poor and sloppy app. Very slow and unreliable. It stuck every time during purchase of tickets. Disappointing application. Disaster!
worst app ever. Created two different accounts and tried 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and once direct account. Nothing worked. I can't buy a ticket.
Unable to purchase tickets, try 2 different credit cards and it charges you a transaction fee but doesn't buy the tickets. Please fix in order to use app ticket version.
Can not save the payment method. Every time I try to save, it asks me to pay 1euro. Even after paying it I still can not buy the ticket because it asks for 1euro again. After 10 trials it just keeps asking for money when you want to save the payment method. So impossible to purchase tickets here. Be careful with this app because it saves all your personal information.
