Using Move ride is very easy, here’s how it works;
- Download the app and create an account
- The app will request you to enter your destination and choose your pick up location
- You will see your driver and vehicle details, and track their arrival at the pickup location through the map
- After the ride, you will be able to pay through the app, you can rate our drivers and the service in general.
- You will receive your receipt via email and SMS notification

complete disaster. downloaded the app and tried to sign up. the code via sms never comes. tried on three different numbers - all foreign numbers and all working perfectly well receiving other sms in Rwanda. in the end one of the consierge at the Marriott let me use his local number to sign up. then the app kept crashing. on top of that seems very difficult to be able to add a foreign credit card for the payments. extremely user unfriendly experience with no result and plenty of time wasted.
Move will never be a service I recommend. The 1 out of 10 times it works, the drivers are disrespectful and borderline agressive and if you try to call the service center for help they don't pick up or call you back. I don't know bout you, but that feels very dodgy and unsafe, not what I've come to know from the the VW brand.
The app keeps crashing. Links you up with drivers who are far. But I repeat, it will keep crashing. You'll have to start over like 3 times before it works.
Good service but inefficient application. How can you require an email and a phone number at the same time to open or recover an account. And other bugs.
It worked really well the first two times. Suddenly now on Sunday 17 April it stopped working. I had good experiences but it is not reliable
I just booked a car. the driver accepted and then when i called him he said he had a different fare. I had to cancel, he refused to. Tried to use the "contact us" function which also didn't allow me to send a message to Move. Have given up.
The problem is drivers accept your request and when I call them - they tell me that they have gone with another customer and they ask me to cancel which is wrong and frustrating.
Constantly crashes, even after updates, and clearing cache data as instructed only works temporarily or not at all
Good luck finding a taxi. I kept calling the phone number provided on the app and no one was picking. Easier to just use a regular taxi.
Could be great but the app always crashes when you request a ride and you get the message sorry our drivers are busy at the moment. You have to restart for it to work. I have used the app for about a week now in Kigali.
I downloaded the app this morning and the process to register was seamless. I was able to hail a ride within minutes however, I was not able to add my card. The driver was perfect and drove carefully. I would recommend this app for tourists coming into Kigali.
the app seldom works and the customer service line never goes through. the service once in the car is good.
App got stuck on "driver has arrived". Even though I have sent official complains nothing changes, symptoms of a general lack of interest of making this app work
This is a good transportation service except where you have to also pay parking fees as well. That's wrong!
Doesn't work. It keeps throwing errors every time I try to use it. In short it doesn't get the job done!
I am unable to get a cab, the app still shows that I'm on a trip almost 3 weeks later. Please rectify this.
move is a great application ive been using it for a while now and they are always on time the app is amazing keep up the good work
Useless app. Can't add my home address, can't even add a destination to request a ride.
i really enjoy being in places too late sometimes around kigali. during these times i have come to trust move as my option for safety and right timing in getting me at home.
Exceptional service, and nice drivers. Customer service is really awesome.. Highly recommended!!!

Driver never came didn't answer his phone charged to cancel when the person didn't show up!
The main problem is the support team. Sent them a mail a month ago followed by countless reminders and they completely ignored me. Well, it is also a problem that the app was crashing each and every time but the former point was far more frustrating
