* List of assigned jobs for the mobile worker, sorted by date or distance, downloaded and available for offline use
* Automated job status changes based on device location*
* Now and Next job view provides a clear view of the mobile worker's job queue
* Turn by turn navigation, with audible directions, between job sites*
* Access to colleagues' location, distance*, contact information, and skills
* Parts inventory and transfer
* Job status change and job notes
* Employee status change
* Forms for flexible data capture
* Location monitoring and reporting of GPS location in the background*
* Features may vary depending on server configuration and software license.
To provide location-based services such as updated job status based on mobile worker location, Verisae may monitor and store precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of a computer or device running the mobile vxField application when configured. Where available, location-based services may use GPS, Bluetooth, and your IP Address, along with Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations, and other technologies to determine approximate device location. Location-based services must be enabled on the device and within the vxField application to provide these services. Verisae does not share this location data with any third party, nor will it sell or share locations history.
* Note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Can't turn off night mode with new update, no boxes around each different job meaning one big endless flow of text, there is also black text on a dark background, what is the point in that. Pop up boxes are pointless as you still don't get the whole box filled with text only about 3 lines. Every update just gets worse
Poor constantly causing issues, had better systems previously shame we now have to use this one. Latest update is even worse than before.
Total rubbish. Unless you like having a sore finger pressing a screen that does nothing. Crashes there or four times before even starting. Kills my battery. As a technician I spend or waste more time trying to login to a job than actually doing the job. If it even works at all. Total rubbish.
Completely unreliable and utterly useless, regularly crashes, freezes constantly, cluttered and hard to read, currently gets stuck syncing and you have to uninstall, causing loss of local data. Many times jobs have reappeared that are already completed, causing issues for engineers.
when it works, it's ok. every update more issues. now back to having to delete and reinstall app daily.. if they could get it to work. it would most likey be one hell of a app. but after 2 years on it nearly still no really further forward than what it was when it started.
Very poor Constantly crashes and not synchronised Jobs that have been done and closed Suddenly re appear. As if you never been there. Not a real time look at techs day. You fight with the app and then you have to prove you been doing any work
the bain of my life,,,, I am forced to use this though work, if I had a choice, it would never see my device again. keeps freezing, most days now it takes 45+ mins to sync, never particularly worked well,
The last update crashes, freezes and has very poor navigation due to how slow it now runs. App should be downgraded to previous version until a solution is found. I'm struggling to get through my days work load
This latest version as much a disaster as all previous versions, the developers never appaer to have any contact with users to understand how it is used and what faults happen. Considering this has been used for a number of years the latest insult to all users is you now need to pass a test or will be banned from using the program. The conclusion is, must try much harder to get it right.
As you can not enlarge the screen and text very small making hard read have talked other engineers in Alarmtec and engineers from other companies how use VXFIELD they all so text is hard to read. Most programs on a phone you can enlarge please sort this issue
Extremely poor, crashes constantly, every update is like taking 3 steps backwards, Could work more efficiently on a different platform and save the company thousands.
Tablet can't cope with this unwieldy app, and our admin team are also unable to do timely reinstall. The fault menus are horrendous, some far too short, most far too long with many duplication, excessive URLs have now also been added to it. I am spending almost 2 hours a day just on the system - iam sure most employers would not accept their workforce having to spend so much time just working the IT of a maintenance record system. June 2020. It gets worse. Work now has numerous locked in url's,
Powerful tool, works well if you are not working on an antiquated device as appears that one large organization is. Also not recommend to sync all the jobs in the company to every tech. Work in a reasonable manner and you'll get a great deal of benefit
Could be great if more production time was put in. Combined with the portal side, this seems to be a lazy copy of verisae EAM. What it does do is great but what it doesn't do will cost you time and money. Also, the 5 star reviews are from the people who made it.
Slow, clunky, buttons too close together(I.e save/submit for timesheets). App constantly needs restarted.

Slow and freezes continuously, a inconvenience rather than helpful.
Not at all reliable. Functions never work, extremely slow, doesn't sync to sign off. I end up staying signed in for days because unable to sign off. Unable to work live & close work orders down real time as takes too long for the app to process everything. Have uninstalled and re installed updates but no improvement. The app has never worked as it should do from day 1. Very frustrating, it makes job difficult as it becomes time consuming.
