I have two devices on the account but one is long lost. Now I'm unable to use the system at all because even though one device is not going to expire for several months the second one is expired. The service itself is ok. Sometimes it's spotty but that's probably the carrier. Would like to get logged data in csv that can be imported to map files, databases, etc
The app now requires access to the phone. They say it is to verify network type and better map accuracy. There is no reason the app needs phone access to verify network type so I'm concerned that something has happened to the company and they are trying to access personal information. I'm blocking the app until they fix this.
This device is very simple the application is very clear. The setup takes a little bit of computer know-how but once it is set up the renewal is very very easy overall I would recommend it to 90% of people. The 10% who have no computer savvy would simply give up and put it into a drawer but it is very accurate and it does an excellent job
Don't waste your time. Geofence push notifications don't work and the only advice you'll be given is "Uninstall then reinstall". Tried calling for help instead of using the chat feature and couldn't understand the person who answered plus there was so much feedback from their end that I had to hold the phone away from my ear. So so disappointed.
This app works well to send notifications and check data about the Vyncs gps installed on our vehicle. UI could be a little more intuitive. Edit: App keeps crashing after the 8/31/21 update. Edit: 9/1/21 The app is now working. It was only down for a day, that seems a pretty good response time from tech support. Updated review to 4 stars.
Excellent service. Just upgraded to 4G. Renewed subscription
Latest update ruined the app. It was working well before, but now it doesn't work unless you grant the app a bunch of permissions. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. I wish I didn't have auto-update enabled for this app, I won't be using it anymore.
I would give a 5 star rating, but I'm locked out of my account. I was using biometrics for the password. Now I can't get ahold of anyone who can reset my password. ?????
A very user friendly app full of important data. The trips are very accurate. Along with this vehicle health information also easily understandable and very useful. I am very happy to use it. Also the vyncs team is very responsive in every way. Thanks to Vyncs for such a lovely technology.
This is the best GPS tracker in the market. The number of features, quality of the data, price are all the best. I have it in all my work vans and saved me $$ over the years. I can see remotely from my office which van needs gas or if my drivers are being at wrong places. Best thing ever.
Good adapter, good coverage but being a prior Automatic user I feel as though I'm being ripped off here for having to pay for services that Automatic offered for free, like a fast GPS refresh rate, auto refresh, etc. With this I'm forced to pay extra $ for a faster refresh rate otherwise I'm stuck with the 3min for an update or having to manually refresh the page. With Automatic I was able to see every movement my car made as it moved. I would still be using them if they weren't shutting down.
Awesome gps tracker. Very accurate and fast response time. Installation was very easy. The device comes with a setup guide. I followed the steps and I was done within a few minutes. Just had to plug in the device to the OBD port after that. That's all. I had a few questions about the product. Contacted their tech support over chat. They were very nice. I am using it for my company cars and trucks. I am going to get one for my daughter too. I use both the app and the web account. Great product.
Do not purchase this device. The tracker and diagnostic tools never work and customer service is almost impossible to contact and are completely useless once you reach them. Save your time and sanity. Pick any other tracker.
