WOW! Just absolutely incredible... Seriously 😍! I never, ever, EVER thought I would be willing to pay a few dollars a month for any app and if I was willing to, it would NEVER be a navigation app! WELL NEVER SAY NEVER! I LOVE THIS APP! It is totally easy to understand and control... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FACT that I can put it in 3D satellite mode and see every single landmark, no matter what it is mind you, and no matter how fast I am going... There is no lag and everything is crystal clear!
I had this app free on my windows phone but had to finally get a newer one. I loved it on the old phone. One of the reasons it took me so long to move to a new phone. Tried using it with the free option. It is horrible. Only shows you a zoomed out view and if you deviate from the recommended course it doesn't recalculate. Looks like I will need to get used to the Google maps. So sad.
I like this GPS app better than Google Maps because it's so easy to switch between map view and a list of turns. I can "look ahead" in the list, and see curves and crossroads as I travel. Connections can be terrible, though. Especially in NYC.
So upset to see this app go... I've used this app ever since it's inception it's been the most reliable navigation app I've used and seen that was made for android. It didn't use no where near the amount of data that Google maps uses which is essential for me with a small data limit. VZ navigator will be sorely missed
We had a great experience we went from Cushing Oklahoma to a camping place outside of Colorado Springs Colorado that is absolutely the best place i have ever been on the side of a mountain. We used the Vz. Navigator/ Maps to get there and back without a problem one. Was fantastic. Drove straight thru both ways with plenty of wonderful places to stop when wanted or needed to. Thank you for such a great app.
I have used this application for years and absolutely loved it until here recently. It freezes up, it disappears, it still talks to you but you can't see it, and you can't open it backup or see anything as far as a map goes without doing a forced stop.
I love VZ Navigator, it gives you directions before and not after the fact. I do like a previous version better because it allowed you to plan trips better, by finding places nearby a place you were going and you could also search for somewhere to eat by type of food rather than search all restaurants.
Really not worth the money. With the amount of error messages, failure to load, and delayed updates to your route, it is pretty ridiculous Verizon charges for this service. 2 stars only because, when it actually does work, the maps are easy to read.
I used this app from the Galaxy Note 4 to the Note 10. Cost $4.99/month. Did not work on my Note 10+. 1st, I started to get false navigation from the app (wrong time remaining, wrong miles to destination + inaccurate navigation to destination). App would freeze as well as freezes the phone. I Uninstalled app, then restarted phone 3 times, within approximately five weeks time frame. I sent Verizon support my problem with app + phone files. I got no response from Verizon. Canceled $4.99 service
When I was using this on the S9 plus I never had any problems. But now that I have switched to the new note 9 it will not allow me to use it at all. It forces me to use Google Maps and I hate that! Verizon has been working for the last 3 weeks to figure out why I cannot load VZ Navigator.
It provides better navigation than google maps but one problem i have is the updates are too slow. There are business built from 2 years ago that don't show up in VZN and some roads that were made not in here. PLEASE UPDATE!!! We pay for it, the budget should be there.
i use this mostly for semi truck routes. it is very accurate 99% of the time. it can be set for cars or big trucks, which is nice. i would give it 5 stars if it were not for the fact that it did try to route me under a low bridge one time. so, one mistake in about ten years of usage.
OUTDATED BLOATWARE!!! Wasted $$, data, time. Used along SoCal coast drive from OC-San Diego for medical conference/ back. That was the PLAN. REALITY? NO it lost signal around San Onofre our fuel stop. It erred it getting us back on fwy repeatedly. I had both phone/ tab opened other Maps app kicked right in! Got me there just in time. Gave #2 chance we took the internal route back, again 0 signal on Samsung GS7. Go figure. The tab aced it w/ other Maps or I'd been stranded. I was on portable 02.
Navigation is on point with no lag. I am still trying to figure out how to change the voice because she is annoying. And still trying to figure out how to shut her up permanently not with every stop. I deliver so that is annoying every stop to have to silence her.
Be very careful when using this app. Yesterday, it it planned a trip that took me through a national forest, out of cell service, because it was more direct. Once I was out of service, I had no map or phone. ALWAYS check the entire trip before getting route.
I believe VZ Navigator is great! It shows the quickest routes but to have to pay to use and with features lacking like being able to play music right in the app like Google maps puts it at a disadvantage.
Best Navigation app available!!!! Verizon, why cancel a perfectly good app when there are no issues??? I have used this app for over 10 years, traveled all across the U.S. ciuntless times, and had no issues with it!
Don't be a sucker. Don't pay Verizon for something you can get for free from Google Maps. Navigation is free in Google Maps, and Apple Maps. If you have Verizon's navigator, you can't uninstall that senseless app, but you can disable it.
I like it a lot, find it to be very user friendly. However it drains my battery. Just wish there was a way of stopping using voice command. If you no longer need it, you have to use hand to hit back command and then hit yes. If driving, I cant do.
Verizon's "double verification" has destroyed everything Verizon! I can login to my account and receive their PIN Code message. When I enter their PIN the app does nothing other than spin until it times out and I then have to start over. I now have had 6 attempts. I quit!
Great app. It works well. Not often are directions convoluted, but it does happen, as with all navigators. I really like t h e visual of the highway signs to tell me which lane to be in.
Always gets me to the right place. Sometimes it has a bit of a lag with quick turns and such, sometimes it does not recognize addresses, but overall a good app.
Trying to get from La Grange,TX to Katy,TX and I go to on I-10E and it was bumper to bumper from Hwy 71 all the way into Katy. Used VZ Navigator used the backroads of Texas, and totally avoided I-10. Got home somewhat faster .
Good, but it isn't updated with current information. Have found closed businesses and closed roads. Google maps has more updates and more current information. I'd give higher ratings if that was fixed. Otherwise good app.
I have depended on Verizon Navigation app for 10 years. We have been all over the place together. I really don't know why you have to leave. I rely so much on you. Have since the beginning. Plus merging all we have spent to another app in virtually impossible and breaks my spirit! Why do you have to go. I dealt with the email service now the roadways too!!?? Please!!
