Nothing against this app. Only thing I can't find is where to request private photos. I don't know if it is different on android or if I need to be premium but I feel like it isn't there at all. I also have photos that get removed or moved to my private photo album but cannot access my private photos. Any help or clarification would be great.
Interface is a bit clunky and pictures get repeated a lot in different areas. Also, the monthly price is a little high when compared to the yearly price. After the COVID Year's a lot of people can't afford that price.
Not an update. App is getting slow. Can't open a pictures, all you get is a black screen. I don't understand when you load a video and when you click to play it's blurry? Need better HD video. Need to do better job on the search menu.
A nice app for seeing mostly bear type guys. In my experience, a majority of the guys seem to be European, so as an American resident, a meet will be unlikely. Sometimes the app can be slow, but when I have notified the developers, I usually get a timely response, and issues are fixed.
It's a fun app with great features. But it needs a bit more logic to the usebility. I get lost in the screens sometimes. And the free users need a bit of a incentive like 1 daily unlock request. Otherwise the app becomes useless when you don't pay and users will leave to never come back. Your community is your biggest draw, and worth investing in....
cant upload videos from gallery, only images. not a fan of how it reads my directory of folders as external storage when it's internal. i want to be able to upload a photo and use a filter or add text but then the app randomly crashes on me. it was way easier on iOS. :(
It's been really good and still is. My issues are the limitations, I understand extras are for VIP members, but still 2 videos a day and very low numbers of blocks make it not much fun to use the app. Thank you
Easy to use app, free messages on basic, premium pay account access to unlock pictures and unlimited request, layout format is also well designed to view local as well as international profiles.
A very buggy and useless app. It won't even let me register. It says it timed out within 1 second of hitting the button.
Not sure why people are having issues, none at my end. Fullscreen photo browsing on profiles would be a nice to have, but all else works fine. Keep up the good work!
Experience is generally good but there are minor UI issues, slow load times for profile and private photos and intermittent errors where the app is not accessible.
I've enjoyed meeting new people and making friends. But loading pictures and stuff is difficult.
**UPDATE** IT TURNS OUT YOU HAVE TO DISABLE YOUR VPN IN ORDER TO USE THIS LOUSY CRAPWARE!!! --- Can't use the app! During registration, I enter my username, & password. Then on the next step of my registration (uploading my profile pic), it hangs & says "The request timed out, please try again". I can't get past this step.
seems not to be working the last two days. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling to hopefully fix, now I can't get an email link sent to reset my password.
Good concept but W Bear app refuses to fix a known problem (since 2017) that makes up a good portion of the reason people would use this app. If you look back at reviews many have issues w/ app not recognizing photos they want to upload. Example I have 600+ photos on my phone and SD card. When I try to upload my profile picture it will only recognize about 20 from SD only. I can't use the pic I want as my profile pic, which is my FB pic. A G rated head shot. Was why I deleted my acct in 2017
Please update the app.. performance is slow... Its a heavy app. Not smooth at all.. add more features. Like video call
Makes sure to set things up where you get a better experience with a subscription, but is definitely useful without. pretty good app for chatting!
Had an issue with program. Support staff worked with me quickly to assist with issue. I enjoy the app and interaction with Bears around the world..Good job!
I was on this app in 2019 but left and now I came back. after one night I was logged out of the app, the app will not let me log back in at all. it keeps saying request time out. the app is just not dependable
Why don't notifications work properly in this app? When somebody sends a message, it's rare that I get the notification pop up.
It's been a while since the last time I found the app to be unusably slow, so that's good. The private request list still takes an hour to load, though.
The app is decent but very new. Lots of bugs and ux issues they should figure out, but I'm sure it'll come with time! It's not really intuitive to find your "feed" or notifications. Theyre kind of shown in a weird way, and all grouped together. Alike notifications should be shown in separate views (think Instagram notifications and Scruff.) someone glancing my profile should not have the same value as someone commenting on my photo. I uninstalled because too many people requesting private album
