WAAY Weather

Overall good, but I wish the app would give us explanations for the thresholds for low impact, moderate impact, and high impact, especially when used to describe wind impacts. Some people live in mobile homes and really need this data to make choices on whether or not to take shelter. A family in a brick or otherwise normal house wouldn't be impacted nearly as much as a family in a mobile home if 70 mph winds come rolling through, twister or no twister. Just give us some realtime data, please.

The app works pretty well. One issue I have is when there are weather news headlines/updates, there is a notification sound which plays very loudly that I have not been able to find a setting to turn off or decrease the volume on. This usually seems to happen between 7 and 8 am modt days but has also happened in the middle of the night a few times.

Radar freezes repeatedly, and its half hour behind what it shows on tv. I just keep it because it does send voice alerts to my phone. It could be much better. Terrible app. It sends alert saying "severe storm warning for your area", but only plays back weather report from the news 2 days ago, its awful.

Terrible app now. What happened?? It won't load half the time. It's behind on current conditions and severe weather alerts are behind as well. Radar (when it loads) loads as the whole globe. New station alerts lead to nothing, or short vid clips with no information, or they stall out the app. It was my favorite app. Now uninstalled.

Removing this for the second time today... Can't be weather aware when I can't leave the homepage. Don't even know if there's anything below the radar teaser on the homepage, because I can't scroll either. Was hoping to add another useful tool to protect my family this tornado season... Though I am getting plenty of notifications about the lightning and rain, that I'm already aware of, in my area.

I have received a hundred flash flood notifications in the past two days. Don't need a reminder every 15 minutes. I have turned off notifications and still get them. Otherwise the app is fine.

I very much appreciate the accuracy of this weather app. The live forecast and streaming during severe weather is especially helpful since I don't have cable or local antenna tv.

Freezes up all the time. Just updated and frozen after opening. I really like the app when it works. Someone please fix it.

This is a suggestion. When I open a weather app, the first thing I want to see is the radar. I don't want to see videos, blogs, etc. This is the reason I use channel 5 weather app from the tri-cities area. I tried every way I could to get your app to do this and it won't. Thank you.

Finally got your own radar. When severe weather hits I'll see if your radar display on my phone gives the resolution needed to see possible cyclonic activity or if your (live)radar display is just blowing hot air.

The app keeps closing by itself id like to use ur app here in Alabama its important to have a good reliable weather app this however isn't one of those uninstalling!!!

Your last update was a screw-up.I can't get a notification tone no matter how I set the settings!
