Wager Log
Wager Log helps you keep track of your gaming activities.
Along with learning about your gaming activities and where you win or lose the most, the other main feature of Wager Log is that it lets you create a complete log of your gaming activities. As you might know, if you are lucky enough to win a large enough bet, you will receive a W2-G form. You must enter this form on your tax return, but if you can prove your losses exceed your winnings, this can turn into a non-event.
But, the key is proving your losses. A player club's yearly win/loss report is not enough proof. You need receipts (doesn't usually happen in a Casino), or you need a complete and accurate diary of your wins and losses. This is the main reason for Wager Log.
To use it, you just need to enter information such as the game, denomination, and the cash you put in when you make your bet, sit down at the table, or sit down at a slot machine. Then when you are done, you just enter the cash you ended up with. Wager Log then stores all of this information for you, including the date and times.When entering information such as the game name, the casino, etc., the application remembers your choices so you will never have to enter the same name twice.
You can later use our simple filter mechanism to see how you did. You can filter by the game, denomination, the type of game (slots, Video Poker, Sports Betting, Live Poker, etc.), Casino, the name of the Trip, or by starting and ending dates.
In addition to showing your win/loss totals when filtering, you also have the ability to view the sessions that resulted in that win/loss. You can even save the filtered sessions on your device or email them to you or your accountant. The data is in a format that makes it easy to import into a spreadsheet.
You can also save and load the filter configurations you configure. This lets you quickly recall your favorite filters.
There's more little features than this. Watch the video to see what else you can do with Wager Log. The first version just has the basic functionality because I want to get the application out there for you start using it as soon as possible. As you start using it, you will find there are additional features that will make your gaming life easier. The application contains a link to my website where you will be able to make suggestions (or report errors). I will take all that information seriously, and hope to update Wager Log on a regular basis. For example, one feature I would like to add in the next release is the ability to determine the casino based off of your GPS location.
