Wakebox for Xbox One
You must know your Public IP and Xbox One's Console/Live ID in order to use this app. Additionally, this app requires some home network configuration changes (Port Forwarding) in order to work.
You can find your IP simply by googling "what is my IP" on your home network.
The Console ID can be found on your Xbox One under Settings -> All Settings -> System -> Console Info & Updates

DIRECTIONS:
In order to use this app to turn your Xbox One on remotely, you'll first need to setup your home network to allow you to connect remotely. You'll need to make sure that your Xbox is set to Instant On mode. You can set this in Power & Startup -> Power Mode & Startup.
Then set your Xbox so that it either uses a static IP or that your router reserves an IP for your Xbox. You\'ll need to forward various ports in order to power and stream your Xbox remotely:
Port 5050
Port 4838
Ports 49000-65000
Make sure to forward all of these ports to the Xbox's assigned IP address.
Each Xbox has a unique identifier that is required to power on the Xbox remotely.
You can find this information in: Settings -> All Settings -> System -> Console Info & Updates -> Console ID
Finally you will need your public IP so that you can connect to your home network remotely. This can be easily done by doing a Google Search while on your home network for "what is my ip".
Sometimes your home network will rotate public IP addresses depending on your ISP. If this is the case, you may be able to set up your home network to report its public IP address to a service such as No-Ip.com or similar alternatives. Feel free to search online for more information.
Additionally, there is plenty of guides online that are more verbose and explicit than the instructions included in this app to help you get you setup to stream your Xbox remotely. Feel free to seek further help from those guides if you are having trouble getting set up! This app will only work provided you've setup your home network according to the above instructions or various online guides to enable the ability to stream your Xbox One remotely from the Windows 10 Xbox App. This requires setting up port forwarding on your home router.

Does exactly what it's advertised to do, wicked suprised!? Considering it's the ONLY app in the store. ( FYI, the part that says LIVE ID, this guys confused... It's NOT #4, it's under: "XBOX NETWORK DEVICE ID"! So, I gave 3 star for misleading info. But WHY couldnt you go ONE extra step & just add the ability to TURN OFF also? but watever, App DOES WORK! So I gave 3 star. Add Ability & UPDATE MISLEAD INFO ON "LIVE ID", & Ill update 5 stars, & much better review. DONT FORGET, 》XBOX NETWORK ID《
The app worked fine using my LAN IP. I didn't bother trying my WAN IP because I dont plan on turning on my Xbox from the other side of town.
Got correct ip and id DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. To turn on the xbox one with this apl it need to be connected (disconnects on power down so you can not power on)
Terrible, just awful. I literally had to have my Xbox plugged into the mains, like what is the point.
amazing app, it like a xbox remote it like you are outside playing football but you want play on the xbox so turn the xbox on by you phone then when you are done you just go on the xbox. the app is really good
Don't install this app after I turned off my Xbox to try it again for the fifth time my Xbox is making a weird noise when it was off
I'm a parent who thinks this would be great app if it can be used to turn it off too, especially when my 11 year old needs to be done with the game.

anyone who gives away there IP address and gamer tag to a random app, deserves to have there accounts hacked.
You are sat down stares and you want to turn your xbox on all you have to do is put in your settings and press power on and as you come up in to your game room your xbox will be ready
Do not enter your ip adress they are taking it and descovering your adress so that they can do very bad stuff like log in bank accounts and rob u sike

Did everything what the app says still can't connect
First of all this app is a scam. For all of you who are literally giving him your ip adress, do you know what he can do with these? I joined an Xbox Live party once and a guy pulled my ip. My internet was down for 2 HOURS in result of this.

setup is hard indeed. but, just use the ip adress and the xbox live device ID. it consists of numbers and letters. hope this helps. and for those of you that need to turn it off, just use the xbox app. it might say it failed to contact, but just check and see if it worked.
