Ever wondered why your smartphone screen doesnt turn off automatically when it should have, the screen wakes up all of a sudden or you find your phone battery drained even when you exited apps and turned off the screen? This might be due to wakelock holding apps. ”Wakelock Detector” helps you to detect battery draining apps in your Android phone by checking wakelock usage history. Now you can easily find out what keep your phone awake and drain your battery when it is idle!
“Wakelock” is a mechanism of power management service in Android OS, which can be used to keep CPU awake (Partial wakelock) and keep the screen on(Full wakelock). Applications which use wakelock privilege improperly leads to situations where the CPU or phone screen stays active without user's knowledge and thus causing dramatic battery drain.
“Wakelock Detector” shows wakelock usage statistics for all applications, which ever held wakelock since boot. By default it displays CPU wakelocks sorting by the longest usage time. Further, you can choose Screen wakelock type to see screen related wakelocks. For instance, if your screen is keeping on even after screen timeout or your screen turns on randomly by itself, then you can choose Screen wakelock type on the top (Brightness icon) to see which apps are using screen wakelock. Furthermore, if you are interested in currently running applications then you can change sorting type to "Active" which shows active running applications on the top. People are crying and complaining this doesn't work on new android.. the last update was released in 2017. For crying out loud people just use your eyes and logic for 2 seconds to see the information about the app and that the new OS are different from older versions of android. To an extent that even UI elements are incompatible between 10+ and older versions.
Useless. Wanted to test drive it on a rooted device. Only thing the app shows is a link to a workaround on how to use the app on UNrooted devices. I guess I won't pay for the full version.
1st time install and used i failed, bcoz i don't quite understand the instructions. Then i tried few more times until i realised that i've to use my vivo 1904 @ android 9 ORIGINAL® USB cable to grant ADB permission in my laptop and i succeed. This app really works as it should be! 👍 5⭐
'statistics since unplugged' check mark in settings does not work. Unchecking it shows statistics since unplugged still.
So the solution is to use auto-detect anyway to make it work *Hey why do the apps says need rooted device e2ven my device is already rooted? The toast notification asking for superuser access never popped up. Dev pls fix this*
Seems pretty good to me but tell me why the hell do I gotta download a damn app just to not lag in a game why the hell doesn't the phone automatically handles the game performance well even though this crxpy android has more features than apple the iPhone's hardware system is 5x faster than this plus this app takes a lot of space.
doesn't work, the libraries for Windows 7 are not supported or provided. The computer component always says "device not found". Apparently support for this app was dropped.
Awful app It works for like 2 hours and then just stops working saying "Failed to perform this task at the moment please try again later. Like how hard is it to make an app that actually works

@Fxshioned.prince 1. Phones are created to commute with people across the world. GAMING, is not intended but available at you're leisure. 2. Phones can not "automatically" fix issues because they dont have brains. If such phone exist YOU wouldn't be able to afford it. At most you can run diagnostic/research and then take measures to fix the issue yourself. 3. You just answered your own question why apple runs faster. use your brain to figure it out or do you not have a brain like a phone?
Wasted 2 hours downloading ADB drivers on my Dell laptop to get this app to tell me why my screen won't turn off, my s9 is hot and the battery dies in 2 hours. Really frustrating - and I am an Electrical Engineer!

It doesn't work correctly on Android 10, at least on my Realme 6i. Better Battery Stats works better ;)

Stopped working on Android 10 and would show an error saying it is unable to get details.
Can't detect Magisk root and always tries to propose the non-root version even though I have root.
Used to be good, but now 1) has poor instructions, 2) failed to detect that my phone was rooted.

Doesn't work at all. Even after following direction three times.
My.phone is rooted. This app doesn't detect it and won't even generate a root access request. Magisk doesn't recognize it as a root enable app or that it ever asked for root. The app just sits there on the opening screen telling me jow to work around not being rooted. The Mode setting says it's a system app and has root, but the core program doesn't seem to know it.
