Just downloaded this app recently so haven't been able to cash a check yet or do much because you have to set up direct deposit before you can do much but signed up for that and waiting to see how it goes... other than that they do have very attentive and helpful customer service reps that chat with you if you need help with any of the process!
*UPDATE* DO NOT download this app & use these banking services. I have had multiple, MULTIPLE times my card has been locked and no one could help me. the last time this happened i was contacted by a manager who promptly contacted me and took care of the issue. I've spoken with customer service twice and neither time no one could help me or let me speak with a manager. I am so fed up with this company that I will be reporting their business to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
They closed my account bc I attempted to purchase cryptos, bc of "possible fraud." But before they did that, they asked me to VERIFY my identity even tho I could verify the purchase attempt. I sent my ID docs MULTIPLE times; it took WKS for them to say my card & acct were closed. Everytime I called they told me to call back. I had $194 on the virtual acct - for over a week they couldn't tell me HOW I could get it, then they didnt know WHERE it went! I eventually got a check for $10 short! UNREAL
I had this account in 2018 and while I had it, it was a good account. Now I have a huge problem. I changed my account and used my new bank for 2019 taxes but when the IRS sent me my stimulus check they deposited it into the 2018 Waleteros account. I still have my routing and account number but the card has been long gone. I don't even know if the account is still open so I tried to call them and although I called multiple times during normal business hours there is no answer, even to report a card lost or stolen. So I figured I'd download the app and even though probably don't remember the phone number or password I'd try. I downloaded the app on Android and it gives me an error that the server is being upgraded to try again in a few hours, it's been 4 days. I downloaded it on an iPhone and I get an error that the certificate to the server is invalid. So worst case scenario I have 1200 sitting there and no way to get it and no one to call to help and best case scenario it is closed and goes back to the IRS but again no one I can talk to to help me.
I had a small problem with it thinking I had not verified my email. I contacted support they responded instantly an fixed the problem . App is easy to use . I love it
It says they have mobile check cashing but its a lie. They haven't been upgrading yet and still working on it. They said I could go to Walmart, ya if I was wanting to get out this late I would load my other card that doesn't have false advertising. Thanks for nothing. DELETED
they never send me the card, and they keep me calling and calling and never fix my problem , at the end they locked my account with no reason , Don't use this app, i thought this app is good , but not, hopefully I only had 0.22 cents when they locked it otherwise i could lose more money
signed up on the app got the card had it for about 6 months decided to transfer $500 from my PayPal account to the card waleteros locked up my cardwhen I called customer service the system told me suspected fraud which was insane they told me I needed to submit identification and some other documentation I did that now 4 months later they still refuse to give me my money do not use this app this company will take your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
App doesn't work for months. Under maintenance message all the time. Chat with us link never works. I guess their service is gone. I'm happy I don't have money in this account.
This app doesn't even work. It just stays stuck on a screen with a spinning icon that says "encrypting". Lame
BEWARE DONT USE WALETEROS!!!! As soon as my taxes got to the account 4 hours and 10 min later my account was locked. I called and they kept telling me to call back in 48 hours because another department was working on it after almost week i asked them to just return the $1000 to my bank. they finally reversed it 3 weeks ago and I still haven't seen the money. i almost lost my apt over this. i got my lawyer working on it right now. if my money comes in soon I'll update this review.
honestly one of the best apps ever. have it connected to my paypal business account and my stripe card proccessing account and only problem ive had is updating my email and thats my fault cause i dont have bills in my name at my address lol. i can deposit from my paypal and have it within minutes.

Their app has been "down for a few hours" for several months now. Can't check balance or do anything.
Easy to use and the staff for help line is more then helpful and always convenient.
How can it be better than banking when the app never loads, Cant even sign up always encryption error.

I was warned that they would steal my money I should have listened they stole $800 from me and I can't get it back it's 9 months now I've done everything they asked me to do I think this app is just a scam!!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. My account was blocked for NO REASON. I barely even used the card. They will BLOCK your account, then order you to give them documents. Thats fine, except I live with my parents, they said I need a UTILITY BILL, and regular mail wont suffice. Obviously the bills arent in my name, thats the case with allot of people, so another option besides utility bill would be COMMON SENSE. But common sense isnt common. They want to block your account to steal money!! Will talk to my lawyer!
I have been tryin to apply and use the app for months now and it always says under construction. Is it gonna ever work?

I don't transfer money with Waleteros, but I do use it as my go-to personal banking choice! Absolutely love the app, service, and ease of use. Their customer service is next to none, by far superior to any other banking experience I've had.. and with their live chat, it's like having a bank teller at your beckoning -- and they're actually real, not a bot..
