The charger keeps disconnecting from WiFi - or this is what is reported on the Wall box portal. It disconnects randomly but frequently. As a result, you lose control over the charger - can't remotely monitor charger, lock, unlock etc. Have to physically power cycle charger to recover if it doesn't come back on its own. Why? It has done this for 18 months since installation. Firmware is up to date. WiFi and Broadband connections are fine. I couldn't honestly recommend this charger as a result.

Basic App. Use it only to double check if car is charging correctly. Lately it doesn't update the current session data of current power and time. I usually connect with wifi which seems to work better lately. Would be great to have a graphic for each charging session.

This app is getting worse. Latest update makes it impossible to connect via Bluetooth (yes, I have restarted my phone). To add insult to injury, the last firmware update added cloud access which cannot be turned off!

I've only just downloaded this today and I've already run into issues with it. I'm not happy with how the app freezes and seems to constantly be loading after looking through every setting. It also seems to struggle finding if my device is connected and often shows disconnected. I'm worried about using this app and this hardware for my EV when the app is already a hassle and a struggle on day one of installation. Not to mention the other reviews don't make this very promising, sadly.

Buggy. Fails to connect via wifi and when it does, drops out constantly. Also, can't edit Connections (ghosted). The unit plus install was nearly 4,000 dollars (NZ). Should work perfectly for that price. It doesn't...

Ok an update on my earlier two star review. The password issue - it didn't like anything non alphanumeric eg £ @ & etc. Put a very standard password in and it was fine. The pairing issue (locked into a trying to pair loop) I solved by going to the distribution box and turning the whole thing off and on again. Seemed to clear it. Fingers crossed then it keeps going!

Awful product avoid. Recently installed and performance already declining markedly with inability to charge (says waiting for vehicle) most times I try to charge. Checked car on a public charger and the car is fine. App equally poor, will not connect to wifi despite being well in range. Strongly advise looking at alternative products

Wifi doesn't work and support claims it should. This is unacceptable as many competitor products don't have this issue. *Update: more recently it has been mostly working (although buggy, frequently have to close and reopen app). Still has connection issues periodically.

Schedules are broken, if you have a every day schedule and edit it on a Tuesday to remove Saturday and Sunday. The schedule wont resume until the next Monday. The correct A used is only showed on the web version, the app always says 32A regardless of usage/settings. The app cant resume, you always need to back out to the charging station selection. Web version wont show anything about ongoing charging session

I can't get my cable from the charger. Connectivity keeps failing. The Bluetooth isn't picking up the box. I can't drive without a cable. Please help. You send me an reply and I have already contacted Wallbox. Still no answer from them. I can't use my car.

Wallbox unit and app is great on Bluetooth but it consistently drops out on WiFi which makes the app about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. 5.718 is my software version at time of writing this review.

Impossible to charge since yesterday's update. Stuck in a pairing loop that cannot be broken, impossible to start again as connectivity button is greyed out. Now left with a car I cannot charge. Revert this update immediately PLEASE!

I cannot get this app to work. Its completely unreliable & the only way to charge my car is at peak time via another app. For a hesitant new ev owner I very much regret this choice. Whilst I wanted to do the right thing the stress caused is not worth it

I can only agree in what other are saying. Wifi connection never works, bluetooth needs to be very close to work. But it takes forever to pair and you will lose connection at least once every time you try to do anything with it. The scheduling works sometimes, but more often then it should, the charger just doesnt charge. Who knows why? On the plus side, It is small and good looking!

Since I have learned the developers read this I thought I would go beyond "garbage app". To be constructive hoping this will make any difference. The charger works fine. The app is just terrible. Customer service has been really great, but this is not their fight. I use a Galaxy Fold 3. Once I get these configured I might just uninstall the app and live a happy life. 1) consistent failure connecting to the device. BT is way better, but ultimately its a misfire. 80% of the time this fails. I guess turning off WiFi improves this.. Tapping on the lifetime stats closing sometimes helps then returning, but mostly its force close and try again. 2) I have a six day week, S-F. I cannot get to Saturday on my phone because its not there. With my Fold open with the big screen, I have more screen, but I cannot scroll down to see it. Six day week it is. Because of the schedule (I am assuming), I often don't get a charge overnight. The worst problem ever. Using a schedule saves money. Not using a schedule doesn't justify the purchase.

Trash If the app fails your car does. Failed to charge on schedule over night (possibly following a forced update by Wallbox to the software). In the morning the app won't pair with the charger therefore it's complete junk and you have ZERO ability to charge your car. What's the point of this app and why can't it be over ridden via an internet browser login? Why does it need to "pair" EVERY time??! Wallbox has been powered off and back on. Bluetooth off and on. App uninstalled and reinstalled.

I truly don't understand this app. I'm pretty good working with apps and software and can't tell you how many times I've woken up and my car has not charged. I have it set up to charge during cheaper early am hours but sometimes it just decides not to charge. I gave up and deleted all schedules and just plug in and start charging as soon as I get home. I'll probably use my car's software to schedule off hour charging.

Will not connect via wifi. Previously I could log on to my home wallbox from work via the app and pull up charge history and/or adjust charge times. Now it simply won't work. When logging via Bluetooth it shows that wifi is disconnected. Even after multiple attempts at reestablishing the wifi connection it drops and won't work. Please fix this.

kW reading over wifi does not work during charging session, only through Bluetooth (not too practical as typically you can not connect to the charger via BT as it is further away).

Most nights schedule doesn't run, leaving car uncharged next day. The charger seems to have a different schedule(s) from the app.

Increased to 2 stars scheduling is working again but still not working on WiFi Greatly improved UX for the scheduled charging so adding another star. But be aware existing schedules are removed. Where do I start, I think I have made the wrong choice on an EV charger. Let's try and summarise, It works but it's barely and App The app takes an age to connect each time The app often doesn't match status of the wall box so you have to kill the app and restart. Hire a tester and a UX designer.

The App prioritizes Bluetooth over Wi-fi when at home. The solution is to turn-off the phone's Bluetooth. This is very annoying..

Trash. App never updates, despite constantly saying an update is available. Uninstall and reinstall does not fetch most recent version, so no solution. Constantly have to stand there waiting for it to pair, which fails regularly. Have to uninstall, reinstall, reboot phones, switch phones randomly, praying it will recognise the app/box. Regret every penny we wasted on this garbage.

Wallbox won't charge my car, the app recognises that my car is plugged in but just says 'waiting' for car. My car app says that it's connected to a socket but shows no charge. Went through all the troubleshooting on the Wallbox website but..... My wall box won't hold a WiFi connection to allow me to update the Wallbox software. The app looks decent but when the Wallbox just won't work, including through the app then its all pretty useless.

Does what is supposed to, mostly. Occasionally drops the wireless connection, same with the Bluetooth sync. One feature I'd like to see in a future update is to set it with a schedule to automatically unlock between certain hours.

Why change? When it was working before? The new update 2022? I use to operate the charger away from home or at home and now I have to be near the charger for Bluetooth connection and even beside the wallbox it still refuse to connect and I have to wait until it connects eventually. This wasn't a problem before the update. Why? Bother making an update? When the problem didn't exist before?

yeer haaaa an update and wifi is restored after 10 months of it only working with btooth an standing right next to it. a star restored.. other update 2/12 awants location services and blutooth, its connected to the wifi, dont u muppets test ur updates, waste of money...just look at your feedback.

About as much us as a chocolate teapot. Initial display states wallbox is ready, but on touching the screen display goes to pairing screen which has stalled midway. Samsung A5 phone running Android version 8.0.0.
