Wallpaper Saver

Works great! I have a new phone and my wallpaper automatically transferred from my old phone during my data transfer and setup. Unfortunately, I could not locate the file source on my new phone and I'm not rooted. I didn't want to lose access to the wallpaper forever so I did some searching online. I found this app through a post on Android Stack Exchange and it saved my life. Thank you to the app developer!

This app worked perfectly to help save my current wallpaper (which I couldn't seem to find on my device). My lockscreen wallpaper is different and I obviously couldn't find that either, but this app pulled that file for me as well! Much success!!! 🥳 I had a small issue trying to change the download path, but I wiped the data, relaunched the app, and now that works properly.

Downloaded the app to save a background that had transferred from an older phone. The wallpaper was saved with a giant black bar down one side of the picture. I could find no setting to prevent this, nor was the storage path accurate as the file could not be located there. Don't waste your time.

Ads weren't bad. Very easy to use. Only has a few settings. I bought the paid version straight away. Only have 4 stars because under settings there's an option to upload wallpapers to Dropbox. I use Google Drive and One Drive. I'm hoping the Dev's see this and include Drive and One Drive as an option in a future update. 🤞🏻

Does what it exactly supposed to do. After searching for too long how to save wallpaper from apps which don't have option to download.... I found this app. So easy to use. Directly saves current wallpaper to phone storage by pressing just one button. Minor ads which don't really bother. The interface is also very simple.

This app does exactly what it says it does without being intrusive. It has no ignoying permissions like any. It makes it easy to organize background pictures, just add to your phone's background and viola it saves them to the app and you can delete whatever pictures you no longer want on the app. I've had this app for 3 years and no problems, its my favorite none game app.

Used to get the wallpaper I have had on my galaxy s4 for the past 8 years off and onto my new phone. Only used once, but it worked well, even on an old device running Android 4. Only had a very unobtrusive and very small banner advertisement - which I clicked, hopefully it will give the developer a few cents, a small token of appreciation. Only weird thing, which I saw another review say also, there is a weird black bar on the left of the image.. meh I cropped it off. Found via stackexchange. A+

Worked great, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Very useful app to have. Easily met all of my expectations. Exactly what I was looking for, and I didn't have any issues using it. Very quick & easy, user friendly app. Simplicity at it's best! 🤩 No annoying ads 🙌🏻 Plus, it's completely free? I mean... what more can you really ask for? haha

Does exactly what it says it will. Unobtrusive ads. Simple one click operation. This is how apps should be. Will probably never have to use it again, but if i ever see another app by these developers that i need, I'll pick theirs over any alternatives. Very impressed.

Another app wiped my wallpaper back to default without asking me, so I downloaded this to try and retrieve them so I wouldn't have to go digging through the massive folder of pictures to find both the home and lock screen pictures. This app only showed me the default wallpaper, the old pictures are still files in this phone but this app would not show them to me; this app doesn't do what it says at all. I'm already deleting it.

It does exactly what it says - it also allows you to share the image directly via WhatsApp - I had a bkgnd image saved from the cloud, so nit available or easily accessible in the gallery - the app saved it in just one click magic 5stars! It worked also on older OS versions

I have been looking for my beautiful background that I set on my phone from Samsung Themes, but to no avail. I was scared to change my background because I would lose the picture forever. I saw someone suggest this app in a forum and I went and instantly downloaded it. This app instantly captured my background! So now I have my beautiful background saved!! Thank you so much!!

I had a wallpaper from a previous phone but I wasn't able to save or copy any other way. This wonderful app came along and I was able to save it and transfer it. Thanks for such a great app.

This was the only way I could get a copy of the photo I use for my wallpaper, when I lost the original. Plus it easily allows me to preview new backgrounds on my phone, by letting me reinstall a previous wallpaper.

functionality of naming the downloaded wallpapers are awful! there's no easy button to save the wallpapers in gallery. but the overall functionality is good.

Works as intended for the most part. However, the auto-play video ads are really obnoxious and loud. Be warned if you have your media volume turned up.

Fantastic for grabbing the screen picture when it is no longer stored in your file system. So easy to use and I would've paid for it to collect the image I needed.

I am an avid user of this app, but the recent update has just destroyed it. It is supposed to save any new wallpaper that is being applied, not periodically. The purpose of the app is completely lost!

Simply AWESOME... I deleted my custom wallpaper and forgot to back it up but LUCKILY I still had it applied as my background even though it was deleted and this app did the trick to capture your current phone wallpaper if you no longer have it on your device or it was deleted. Very fast and very simple.

Behaved exactly as described, simplifying a task lots of people want to do.. manage and save their favorite wallpapers. Elegant and simple and efficient. And, best of all, EASY.

I just spent the last 2 days trying to move my favorite wallpaper from my old phone to the new one and this app did it in 2 minutes. I really wish I'd found it before I wasted all that time. Thank you for creating this!

Does exactly what it advertised. I would recommend though to change the folder where it saves the wallpapers to one you make that is easier to access.

Works as well as it says, plus it saves a lot of time you'd rather not want to waste on searching for where exactly your original wallpaper image is.

This Really made my day! Easy, Fast & Secure. No thousands allowances and you get what you want like "What? Already done??? 😍❤" I downloaded the image from Chromecast dynamic wallpapers, and couldn't find it back then since now! Thank you thank you thank You people 😊🙏

I am livid. It not only failed to save my wallpaper it actually changed it to a cropped version of it! So I'm assuming the full version of the wallpaper featuring my late kitty is lost forever. I have no words to describe how pissed I am right now

Ran app and for "Your current wallpaper" is just shows a black screen, which is definitely not correct! Wanted to save current wallpaper (a photo I'd uploaded ages ago) and therefore could not.

Really simple to use, but as already mentioned by others, you probably want to change the download folder in the PHONEs settings: Settings ... Apps ... Wallpaper Saver ... Storage
