Walmart Family Wi-Fi
The Walmart Family WiFi is a free app for your mobile device that finds, manages, and automatically connects to available WiFi hotspots. The app helps increase your device’s WiFi connections while minimizing your cellular data consumption by only turning WiFi on when and where needed.

• • Hotspot Quality: Walmart Family WiFi not only monitors the signal strength of hotspots, but also their speed and access to the Internet. When quality issues arise, you are informed and given choices to handle them.
• • Hotspots with Sign In: Most public hotspots have a "sign in" or "terms & conditions" page which you must agree to before accessing the Internet. You can use Walmart Family WiFi to automate many of them for you. For those that cannot be automated, you are notified so you can sign in yourself.
• • Finding Hotspots: Go to the Map to view available hotspots. Download more hotspots for any area you wish by using the map commands.
• • Data Usage Statistics: Keep track of how much data has been used over cellular vs WiFi through the Statistics graph in the app.

I pay 50 bucks a month, so I can have my hotspot, all the sudden stopped working, called and they wouldnt reactivate till my original due date even after I paid plus add on for extra data which is not what I was promised when I was told to pay for plan and extra data. My service is rarely 4G or 5G like promised. And They lied to me. I would advise against their service.
Great Value! Tethering is working fine now. They must have updated the service Mr. Vinson. When i made my previous comment in October I was told by customer service that tethering wasn't enabled. As per an email that i received; they have since that time enabled the tethering feature. A previous review dated 10/5/2018 by Laqqy states the same as I was stating at the time.
I think there is no place to enter my printer pin number or my password or printer ID so how do I use it to print when it won't work with my mobile phone. I am using Charter Spectrum Wi-Fi assist to connect and it won't work either. How much to get one that will wirelessly connect me to my wireless printer since their is no printer cable that works with my Android Coolpad Phone.
Garbage app, it blocks all other available wifi connections or does not connect when jumping from one wifi network to similar like when you are transferring from wifi enabled bus to another. Totally wasted data with this app.
Consumer alert!!! These phones are locked I purchased from Walmart Cincinnati,ridge ave, I turn off background data to these apps, come back,ALL BACKGROUND DATA IS TURNED ON WITHOUT MY CONSENT.24.99+ 10. activity, plus phone card cheap ass plan will use your data in 2days, that's why they keep turning on background data on my phone. Soon to return a phone who Walmart employees said Unlocked.the 10.$was for activation,they never offered.
It been a good service! The only thing is the automatic enrollment. They charge you ever 20 days . That way they get another 2 months of pay out of the year . I dont like that its seems wrong. I wouldn't enroll
I downloaded this app just to write a review because I couldn't find anywhere else to write a review. This is the worst phone service ever they claim they have 5G but my phone runs off of 3g, LTE, and h+ which I can barely make calls and the internet always loading but hardly working. The company is committing fraud there is no 5G. I want my money back
Good service so far, bought this phone in Florida with airtime card to use as a hotspot. This is a Tracfone running on T Moblie towers. While T Moble is one on the largest service providers in Alaska, and Tracfone and Walmart operate in Alaska, the Walmart Family Moble service is not available there. The Family Mobile app is totally worthless, provides absolute no accurate information.
worst app ever. did abslutely nothing it says its supposed to do. uninstalled immediately after testing everything out. just a waste of time & space.
Worst I've ever had. Ripped me off badly. Blatant and unapologetic about it. Had for a year and was decent. Now it's run by criminals... literally. I'm switching in a couple days. Bleh. Stay away.
I love the service; I believe that all plans include mobile hotspot now! I am able to get the Wi-Fi hotspot working just fine now.
Faster than homes WiFi for NetFlix. Dish Everything. Don't have smart tv so can't teather in anything to big screen. Can listen to music etc. I'm happy.
I do like the app, the only downside for me is I cannot find where my account is located to see when my next bill is due
WiFi is the only way I have had data. With the Walmart family plan. Not that this app helps. Because when I leave Walmart. I just don't have a good signal any more. 1 bar of network service, with the Walmart family plan$49. I must be expected to stay at Walmart. Or just go there every time I need to use the phone? Walmart is now overseas owned. I heard Japan or China are the new owners. Some people from both maybe?That's why the service sucks.They want a skeleton Crew working there (LessWorkers)
If it will actually connect to the hotspot instead of the internet router it will make all my headaches go away
i work at Walmart used wifi inside only for free and when i go out self turnnoff just wow ! it ok it help me when people asked need subject look for food and blah love it ! bye
New to this network but, they say that first impressions is what counts that tell you alittlle about them and how their reactions will be let me try this app first then I will know if I like it or not then will be able to voice my options on it and I'm no fool to fall for anybody offering me things I don't feel right about or don't need it's called being smart and follow your gut feeling thank you I appreciate this opportunity sincerely yours Edna Howell
for everyone saying there's no tethering or hotspot that's complete b******* your tethering in your mobile hotspot comes right out of your original data so if you got a 9 gigabytes of data you get 9 gigabytes of hotspot all you got to do is turn on your hotspot configure it and bada the boom bada the Bing

My Walmart family aw this is a great app and besides q link the two best phone services out of all cheapest dependable always there for you unlimited data automatics hot spots no fees to hook up no fee for late fee. After google and me adding a few apps to help speed up and optimise routing and traffic lanes you wouldn't believe how fast this phone is and qlink service too the known snail of phones and I am running on 2.4g
