Walmart MoneyCard

App is very user friendly & easy to use/navigate through. Keeps me updated with every transaction posted immediately. I love the simplicity while it also is secure & accurate. Only issue I have is $5 monthly fee & especially the ridiculousness of being charged $3 to put money on MY OWN ACCOUNT! As well as it having to be minimum of $20 to load on your own card. I think that is so wrong. Only time I've ever even heard of being charged to put money on own account. Besides that app is great.

I love this app. It's easy to send money to people that don't have this app or card. It let's you win 24 dollars sometimes if you stash your money in a vault to save it! I didn't even know about that til I won! It's just clear and easy to use. I've had it for like 15 or 16 years! Would highly recommend. I will never use a different one. It gets my checks direct deposited. And it's always like 5 days early. Not just 2! I love it! Get it if you need a card! You'll love it I promise. Thanks walmart

Same problem I've had for two or three months. I've installed, uninstalled I don't know how many times. It's a lot more inconvenient accessing my account from the web so I have found another bank and as of yesterday I have a new one so goodbye Green Dot because all you do is take me in the circles. You send a verification code through my text. Then you start all over and won't take me back to the verification code box in the app so I can put it in. Endless circles...finally...goodbye!!!!!

I bought this card with the idea is is reloadable. I created an account and it could not verify my information even though I entered everything Correctly. They assessed the monthly fee and then when the card failed to meet the reloadable status. I ask for a refund. They said would take 2 weeks and the $5.95 fee charged instantly could not be refunded. What a huge rippoff.

Pretty decent app. Would be better if payments sent could arrive faster than 5 days from date sent, and the balance would update immediately instead of a few days later. The vault feature is awesome and the ability to lock/unlock your card is a great feature. Handles everything that I need it to

It is the stupidest app. It is impossible to set up a new card. You need two phones. If I try to read the SMS message for the code, the app resets to login screen. One phone to read SMS message and another phone to activate card in app.

After I was registered I used the app for a short time. The app said I canceled, however I did not. I couldn't get into my card to see my balance and transactions. I called the number on the back of the phone and couldn't get them to understand I needed to have my card in working order. I contacted green dot bank, I am waiting still.

I use this account for direct deposit and have a second card fory daughter. If she needsmoney for school etc. then itonly takes a few seconds to transferthe money she needs through text message or email. With a click and a verification that it's actually her on the receiving end , the money is deposited in her account in less than 5 minutes. Knowing that money can be received quickly is a great relief when she is away from home.

I used to love this app it worked well now all of a sudden when I go to deposit checks that I have deposited in the past it will no longer work. But if I I take it i to a store it works just fine. I wish they would fix this bug I would really appreciate it.

My experience with this app has been great. Been using it as my main form of banking for 2 years. Never had any issues. My card did get locked once but all I had to do was call and clear up the misunderstanding. But ya other than that its good. I dont like the $2.95 monthly charge but its whatever. Its 3 dollars. Not putting a dent in my wallet. Anyway ya, been 5 stars. I especially like how you can switch money from the checking to savings through the app on the go.

Do not use this account!!! If fraudulent activity happens, they wont give it back. You won't be able to initiate a claim until the money clears, THEN you can say someone stole your money. It will take them a month to even look into it and will fine "no error". Different state, never used outside of the state, no worries that wont seem suspicious to them. Do not use!!

I gave a 2 not because of the app. Ut the card!! You can't type the card # fast enough it keeps saying goodbye use the online app?? I want a real lice customer service person. When I finally typed fast enough there is still no person to talk to? Trying to find out even though my card expire date is good haven't used in long time if it's valid before I transfer money to it from pay pal? Having a phone number that does nothing? The app doesn't help either?

Does not alert when deposits are made, only when purchases are made! Customer service is also very bad, since you cannot talk to a live advisor without going through a long process! I don't understand why they can't have a chat system set up like Green Dot card app, if Walmart Cash card uses Green Dot Bank also! Also no where does it list on their website that there is a cut off time to being allowed to leave a deposit in Walmart stores!!!😠👎👎

If you could give negative Stars I would. I do not recommend this banking institution to anyone. I have lost thousands of dollars and they will not allow you to decline any charges. Only we can cancel your card and get a new one. Best go back to a regular banking institution and don't suffer all the thousands of dollars that I've lost throughout the years.

I received a card that I never requested. It had the wrong middle initial on it. I chatted with customer service to see about changing it and all I can do is send a picture of my ID along with a court document or marriage certificate of the name change. I've NEVER changed my name, this is my maiden name. I can't give you something I have never had. Closing the account ASAP.

Worked fine at first then needed a replacent card. Worst customer service. Stories change constantly, honestly don't think anyone knows what's going on. Complete rio off....stay away and do not, I repeat do no get the card or use this app.

I've had 4 Walmart money cards over the last atleast 8yrs ,I love it honestly.you can just add up your bills go load the money on the card and pay your bills,shop etc I also like how you can stash money so that no1 can take any money off of your card .I've only had 1 time where the app was messed up but it only took about an hour to get fixed .my only issue is some sites won't accept prepaid cards.othet then that I highly recommend especially for all online purchases

Don't work. I set up my card but the app just keeps telling me I have to log in through the website. I did but the website doesn't let you add extra cards. It says go to the app but the app won't let me sign in. I got this so my daughter can learn to use a card but if it can't be used it is useless for me

MISSING $1,400.00 now researching account. I have the platnum card. Meaning: I been with this bank over 6yrs. I tried to dispupt and was not compensated. They say the atms withdrawals that i dispupted did not approved.I/call and or write where is my money? Up-date"05May2022; Ok, i was sent an account transaction detail showing some action that i have to dispute. Thank you to the administration dept. Now, waiting on taxes... Walmart is base in the United States. It takes a long time ToGo'platnum.

I been with this account for about 3 years now and its been great the only down side is that there ir no ATM for this bank so every time i want to deposit i have to go to a store and pay for the deposit.

The worst imaginable. I had ordered a new card after moving to a different state. They refused to mail it to me saying they could only mail it to the address on file. I set up someone to get it for me, paid for the "Overnight shipping" which they don't offer, only to have it never arrive. Instead they shipped it to a mailing address I didn't have. I confirmed my previous address with them several times was told it was lost in the mail 3 time. I had no money no access and no new card. I tracked

Definitely not suitable for the jobless trying to get back on their feet. It's difficult to keep a positive balance when your account is drained of $5 every month.

Never had an issue, just wish it was easier to be able to talk to a human being. I've tried several times, and, maybe, 1 out of 20 calls gets me to a living person. The rest of my attempts ended with me giving up.

I have been having issues with cashing person to person checks with it not taking my id I contacted customer service and they kept pushing to download a new app called ingo I'm really thinking about getting an actual bank so I don't have to deal with the stuff anymore

Easy and convenient. I wish I could send money to another person's, non-walmart money card, account though. Other than that, it is great!

Horrible customer service! So I had 2 charges that were fraudulent. They were made on internet . These were a total of $200 charges. So after filing my dispute in the middle of April it is now middle of May and still no refund, letter or email. They refuse to help me other than telling me to waite and will not put me through to supervisor. They even hang up on you when being persistent to speak to upper management. I would highly advise putting your money where u can trust it is safe.

I had a deposit put on my account and they blocked my account for review. I keep calling and everytime I call or send info there is always something else they want. Pretty much they have stolen my money from my 401k and won't give it back.
