WAND WX

Loved this app until the ads took over. Can't look at the weather without pop up ads. So disappointing. *The ads stopped for a short time and now they are back full force! Time to find a new app. I'd be willing to pay a little to have ad free! I'm now using WICS WX. Same type app without the ads taking over.

Used to be a terrific app, 5 stars. I'm a big fan of the WAND news team, appreciate how they interrupt programming when tornados are threatening. But now the super annoying Tiktok adds pop up and you cannot turn them off,so the app is unusable. I use it mainly for the excellent radar screen, better than any of the other radar apps. I'm willing to spend a few bucks for an ad free version but ther isn't one :-(

Before this month, March 2021, I've always enjoyed this app. Now, it has problems with freezing up my phone when I attempt to go to the application and being slow to access many features like the map. It just doesn't run smoothly anymore. I hope it can be fixed soon as I used to like it over the Weather Channel.

Raising my rating to 3 star from 1. Did WAND finally fix their app?? No obnoxious popup videos yet in just the few minutes after a reinstall after a long time hiatus. We will see. Leaving old review in place for a quick edit back.... The app has become WAY to intrusive on advertisement. I uninstalled and installed WCIA Channel 3. It is the same basic platform so operates very similar. No obnoxious ads either.

This used to be a good local weather app, but recently a video add has been inserted when switching to the radar. It is very intrusive with no way to close it or skip it. I realize that adds help pay for the apps but adds this intrusive are just go to far. I have deleted the app and now use a local competitors app that does have adds such as this.

Put app back on my phone it is now not having any pop-up ads it's working great thank you wand wx

Used to be 5 stars until a recent update embedded ads that take over the screen when you switch between modes such as Daily & Hourly. And you can't clear it until it runs a bit. Don't mind the line ads, but pirating my screen? Bush league. C'mon WAND, you're better than that! Have switched to WICS weather, does same thing without intrusive video ads.

Works great. All the weather locally I need. Alerts yes.. Does not give me the the color coded radar I'm used too. No problems so far 🙂

Changed phones, had to download the new version. Had to uninstall it, because me phone notifications would go off every 10 minutes. I could never find any information of a notification in the app. Very disappointing! I loved the old app.

The App itself is great IDK why it keeps dropping upon opening esp bad after i moved data to memory card Un and re installing seemed to take care of it

This was a good app until the recent change in how ads are delivered. Ads are one thing, but the audio ones are just plain awful. They take over the screen, too. The ads are bad enough that I am looking for another app to replace this.

Used to be a great app until the ads changed, now they are full screen and there is no way to close out of them except to close the app. I would gladly pay a few bucks to not see any ads, but there is no option for that either. Please fix this.

Ads coming up before seeing the weather or the radar is the absolute worst. It used to be an amazing app but I just uninstalled it. If they have a paid version that is ad-free for reasonable price I'd jump all over it, but there is not.

I've used this app for years. There was a recent update and it kept freezing the screen when I tried to look and anything other than the current conditions. I had to uninstall then reinstall the app. It appears to be ok now.

For the past week, upon opening app, it takes up to 30 seconds for all the info (except video) to load & appear. I've reinstalled, which didnt help. When it works correctly, it's great.

pretty ok. I don't like the newer updates because they don't color coat watches and warnings very well. I keep seeing red thinking that it's a tornado warning or tornado watch, when it's a flood warning or a flood watch. That's just one example though.

Was a great app. Didn't mind the banner ads, but now there's pop-up ads almost every time you open the app. Have used this app for years and would like to see an ad-free version become available.

Loved this app (it shows dew point on the home screen, and the radar maps are excellent) until it started randomly autoplaying video ads with sound. Now I'm deleting it and finding a new weather app.

Hate the full screen ads! The ads with audio are even worse. Downgraded from 4 stars to 1. I'll be looking for a different weather app and deleting this one.

Loved the app until recent update that makes ad's pop up when switching screens. Going to delete this app if they don't remove the ad's and use something else.

This app used to be great until they brought in all the adds. The adds are ones in which you have to play just for the X to pop up. Trash

This app, just like every app similar to it was ok until they put live ads on it. It's extremely annoying to be trying to quietly check the forecast and radar only to have a stupid TikTok add start blaring at you. Stop it already!

Good app, always functional. Unfortunately loses a star because I don't like having political ads shoved down my throat every time I check the weather.

Too many adds recently spoil the experience including video adds with autoplay which come on loud. Current a useless add. Deinstalling to pursue other options

WAS! a great app. Then the update. If I wanted to watch commercials I would turn on the television. Uninstalled.
