*Note: This game is in landscape mode only.
The resolution is 1920x1080, but the game will work on lower or higher resolution screens.
Also, text is more comfortably read on larger devices, such as a 7-inch or bigger tablet. However, it is perfectly playable on a 5-inch phone screen.

The story:

Wander No More is a Visual Novel with no choices throughout the game.
It is fully voiced with English voice acting.

When Kouichirou Nabatame finally worked up the courage to desert his kingdom, he thought his days of bloodshed were behind him. He believed that if he ran far enough, and for long enough, he could leave it all behind. A normal life would finally be his, and he would be able to spend his days peacefully, helping others and protecting their happiness, rather than destroying them without mercy.

But as Kouichirou knew deep inside his heart, peace would not be his so easily.

After weeks on the run, Kouichirou passed through Hotsu Village, and the moment he did, he spelled its demise. The Kodokushi, an elite band of samurai he used to lead, slaughtered the village's residents, then set it ablaze and continued their search.

Powerless to stop them, Kouichirou emerged after his former subordinates moved on, desperate to put out the flames and find himself food and shelter. He moved from house to house, searching for anything edible, until he at last stumbled upon a storeroom, in which he found... a girl.

Orphaned, maimed, and robbed of her village, the girl would undoubtedly die a slow, painful death. Kouichirou knew this, and thus asked the girl a simple question.

"Do you want to live?"

But as he prepared to put the girl out of her misery, a fire lit in her eyes. Before she could vocalize her response, the girl, Chiyo, had already conveyed her answer.

"Then as the one responsible for all of this, it is my duty to make sure that happens. My name is Kouichirou Nabatame, and from this day onward, Chiyo, you are my daughter."

A lot of people seem to complain about the length. But honestly to me this seems pretty long. Don't forget that this has no ads and doesn't require energy levels which significantly reduces the storytime. We should appreciate the fact that it's such a wonderful and well crafted story (if you're looking for choices tho, let me warn you that there are none. Nevertheless, it's an amazing experience.) I'm in love with this heart-wrenching visual novel.

If you're looking for choices, there are none. Though I liked the banter and the dialogue between the characters, I still can't get myself to sympathize with them. The arts are lacking, there are so many chances where you can put the usual NPC arts. As for the game feature, you need to add dialogue history. I understand that this game is made by a few people. But, I saw that you are somehow still updating the other game with choices, so I hope for an update or sequel for this series. Good luck.

No choices involved, but the story has likeable realistic characters, the art is stunning and the music is very atmospheric. The story is a decent length, and one of the best free visual novel apps I could find. :-)

This is truly a beautiful game. However the emotions displayed by the characters during a certain situation could have been more elaborated and sensitive. Nonetheless, this taught me certain valuse of life and I thank the developers for creating this game. Thank You!

Very compelling and heartwarming, despite its short length. The voice acting is decent, but there were some flubs here and there. Namely, it sounded like the VAs needed water.

Love the setting and idea but I had to stop as the small font size strained my eyes. Would love it if it were possible to add that to the options :)

While it's free the story lacked towards the end of the game, the sprite art was awful, There was not enough CG art to give my opinion- but based on 3 I say it was not memorable, BMG was mediocre. The only good thing was the story concept But alas, it was poorly executed.

Good story and love the voice acting. The story is just short and wish the game can present you decisions that would impact the story.

Loved the storylines and artstyle but the ending was like "facepainting in a wall suddenly" . I'd love to see the real ending so my request to you guys is for the ending. 🙇🙇🙇

Felt so short. I barely wanted to read the story. The characters are...oof. I cared more about the girl and Itou than who you play as. The ending was just ok.

I found the story very interesting and all, but what the hell man! couldn't you've made it a little longer the moment it got interesting a little it ended, I am very dissatisfied

Good game, it's just merely a visual novel. I wish you could've made the story a bit long, but anyways it's still a good one.

A kinetic novel with clean and beautiful artwork. Short but a very nice read to pass the time

The story was good and all, but it was too short! I really think this could've been a start to a novel that would've been the next Harry Potter.
