Wansview upgraded to the Cloud app, and they no longer offer the old app. Well if you have the old cameras they won't work on the Cloud app, so I have 4 worthless cameras that are perfectly functional. I'll find another brand for the future. The Cloud app itself loses connection with the camera constantly even though the camera is sitting within 2 feet of the wireless router.

(DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY) There is no sense of security with this product because unfortunately this is the only app that works with the camera and it is worthless it's blurry, it only detects bugs and wind, you have to pay a ridiculous amount for it to record longer than 3 seconds but it won't because it constantly freezes up and goes offline anyway don't waste your money

Since a recent update, the app constantly crashes when opening 1st time, then opens the 2nd. It can be quite slow to connect to the camera at times but other than that it does what it needs to do.

Amazing cameras. Their might be some glitches but that's to be expected. Nothing is perfect. If you wanted something perfect make more money and stop crying. Best cheapest cameras out there. And if you want more of the best, subscribe for cloud. It's amazing!

So for the Price... Best deal on the market easy set-up you get multi view and quality is good for the price. The only set backs are: monthly subscription and they don't have a very far wifi range. However i have those expensive canary cameras that i no longer use because of wansview. By far the best Budget Friendly Cameras on the market. Highly recommend them. The customer service is phenomenal as well. I use the outdoor w4 Cameras.

The free features of the app are okay for what they do. For anyone who is having issues connecting, there could be a number of reasons but mine ended up being the camera needing a firmware update which the customer service chat person handled for me with step by step instructions. Don't be stubborn like me and try to connect 100 times and waste time searching the internet before seeking help. Customer Service resolved the issue painlessly within 30mins.

Update March 2022: for some reason, the troubleshooting feature for network issues was removed from the advanced settings menu. Why on earth did you do that????? Now I have to physically troubleshoot (plug/unplug power) when there is an issue when previously I could at least mostly resolve dropped network issues through the app. If I could remove the one remaining star, I would. Update: even worse if that's possible... Horrible since last update. Frequently drops signal now.

Everything was fine for a while but over the last month the camera goes offline after literally every time I open the app. I didn't realize it at first and the camera was offline for days at a time. Now I know so I can't open the app when I'm not home if I want the camera to keep working. PLEASE FIX IT! If it starts working right again I will gladly give more stars.

New update is terrible. As others have mentioned, the new update is useless. Motion detection does not work anymore. The basic option to turn the camera on and off does not exist anymore. They push for their subscriptions but a big selling point for them is not needing a subscription to use their service.

Live view stability is very bad, sometimes you can see live view and sometime you can't. You need turn off/on cameras constantly to see live view even when my internet is stable and good. :(

Not impressed by the most recent update. There used to be an option to turn your camera off from the app and now that option to turn off the camera is no longer there. I like to turn off the camera when I'm playing video games because my internet is not very strong and now I can't turn off the camera from the app. Being disabled this makes it really difficult as I need to manually unplug it every time.

What is up with this app. Won't even let me set up account. Now I have a useless security camera. When I tried signing in with my Google account, a prompt saying 'illegal parameter' pops up. I'm not a big tech person but that sounds sketchy to me.

I bought this thinking it would be as good as the SIRI but how fooled was I. It works ok whilst I'm sat in the house but once I go to work (the reason for the camera to check on my dogs) and it doesn't connect. I have tried all sorts and still no connection. SOOOO frustrating. My daughter has one set up in her house and I have always been able to check and had no problems at all connecting to hers. Once I get a camera, nothing but problems with connect time after time. I have checked my internet several times and all good there. I just give up. I will be returning it.

UPDATE: I finally did get info from wansview support that allowed me to receive verification code via my Hotmail. I had to whitelist the address they were sending the code from. Original review: The app stopped playing back motion alerts, so their"support" told me to delete it and install newer version. Now I can't use the camera at all. App wouldn't allow me to sign in and can't reset password because it won't send the verification email. Poor customer support.

Virtually impossible to register with email as it take hours to get the email for verification. So can only register with my cell. The email eventually comes through but by then the code has expired. I have never had a problem getting email to register a product. This is a frustrating app and I wish I bought a different camera.

This will not connect to wifi whatsoever, despite saying the pairing is successful. The ONLY connection that has worked so far has been eternity and that it not feasible for me to install with all 4 cameras purchased. I have followed all instructions in trying to get things connected.

Why can you not subscribe anymore? It says you can but if you select the cheapest option, it says cannot take payment, and gives no way to change the card... yet if you select the top plan, it seems to want to work.....
