War of the Gods

Firstly, this is one of my favorite games. However, there are two issues. One not such a big deal, second bad. First. It tells me to purchase the second half every time. But, I just have to click on the buy button. And it jumps to part 2. So meh. Second, in various of the stories, it will decide to reset itself? Going back to the original screen where you name your character. Making you reset.

It was good but, it was so short, I finished it in an hour. Also I love the idea they have going on but they slowly start the rising action and then bam! Climax out of no where and then there's the ending. It was a bit confusing but also kind of disappointing. (I played it many times trying different routes and it was still interesting).

Okay, so I've played half of the stories. As mentioned, really spotty grammar/ formatting in some spots, but ultimately the writing is pretty solid. Its engaging and fun. So that's dope. Worth the download. Now then, I bought the ad free version off the bat because I like supporting stuff like this, and for $2.99 I was really disappointed with A) the lack of story continuation B) the lack of impact from choices C) the stats dont feel like they have any meaning. Hope for more though 💙

Love the concept very new in the world of choice games I can see thousands of possibilities already. But, and one major but, would have to be the grammar and spelling. Just some friendly advice clean it up (takes away from the experience) and add a save option. This game has potential, I personally can't wait to see more. 👍

I've been looking for a new novel to read from hosted games that would spark my imagination again to keep me reading many times and this is perfect. It sets a story of wide imagination and provides a different aspect of story while still being enjoyable and while I would've hoped for a little more customization I'm surprised I didn't have to pay for such a good story. It really captured me and I am waiting anxiously for the next.

It's a fun little chapter, the story is well written and interesting, and I found myself really taken by the story and thus being really disappounted when it ended so abruptly. I wonder if it's unifinished, or some kind of prequel to a proper one or something. I like how each role of the story seems to have their own path and relations with each other and the individual stories have been very interesting. Cant wait for chapter 2.

I LOVE the concept behind this story, but I had to drop the rating because of the length. I would be willing to purchase a full story, but as an avid reader I NEED more content. This has the potential to be your best story to date. The different story lines are great, but please market it as a demo instead of letting us believe we are getting a full story!

An interesting story with a lot of branching paths to choose from. However to the detriment of everything it does right it has been poorly edited and badly requires an editors touch. This is due to the infrequent misspellings, weird word repeats, occasional stolen choices and wrong uses of words, as an example with Adara's grip when going through the Lunerian storyline in the tavern, the correct form of phrase should be vice not vise, there are numerous others scattered throughout.

The concept is interesting, but the stories are all so short that there's not much point in point customization due to the brevity of the storylines. I figured there would be more to the storyline I was playing after purchasing, but I was seriously disappointed. A few spelling and formatting errors but very few. Decent story, but is it worth the price tag? 🤷‍♀️ Hosted used to sell full length stories for about a dollar or two so idk what happened

Always a pleasure to see another world be added to Hosted Games collection, even better due to all the branching possibilities from the different scenarios, only real issue i had is the shortness of each scenario but i feel that this is more of a prologue to the larger stories each scenario will branch down, since each scenario seems limited in scope and seems focused on "setting the stage" which is perfectly good for a prologue. Can't wait to see how each scenario's story unfolds!

This CoG is very different from others in that the backstory you choose puts you into a story that directly relates to your chosen background essentially giving you six different stories. All of them are pretty well written except the occasional grammatical errors but the one thing that suffers from having six stories like this is that each is extremely short and they aren't helped by the fast pacing of each one making each feel even shorter. Overall though still great, hoping for more.

Writing has a problem where it assumes that you know more than it has told or shown you. It moves too quickly and the stats don't seem to actually get used ever. A lot of the choices reference nonexistent stats or resources. Choices don't seem to affect what happens next either.

This is incredibly well designed story with many choices among multiple characters. It isn't long and is only one chapter at the moment, bear in mind the word count is split between characters. I would advise a potential investor to be aware that there is currently only one chapter so it may not be a good time to pay. While I love the story I have to only give three stars. The author needs to create realistic deadlines for herself otherwise we have are left in the dark regarding continuation.

Im confused .. if i purchase will it open more of the story .. i got captured by the king and than the story was over? Is there more chapters or was that it? If thats it that is really dissapointing because the story was excellent but left me hanging! Also points need to mean something. Better to have longer story than a short one that ends with you hanging in thin air.

I enjoy the game and it's mechanics but the story for each character seems pretty short. The game has a lot of potential. But the length of each character story is pretty lackluster don't get me wrong making a story based game is hard but c'mon you gotta give us a little more. overall I enjoy the game. I looking forward to what the game show's in the future

The Pros: I like the story setting. I also like the characters, their interactions with each other and how if you start the story again with a different character you can see events from a different view. The Cons: Maybe because there's so many different starting characters the story is VERY short. Stats seem important at first but then pretty pointless with how short the story is. For example: using magic cost you constitution but you can't run out of it in a story that lasts only 1 chapter.

I played volume 1 multiple times and I keep trying to but the 2nd one and although it takes the money off of my card It keeps saying that i have to buy it. This is very frustrating and this needs to be fixed asap. It cost 2.99 plus tax for the game and I've tried buying it at least 3 times and the same glitch keeps happening.

A few spelling errors bugging me where it is supposed to reference another character but instead says "you" in context with a sentence about or aimed at the reader. The game is broken for me I cleared the cache and uninstalled it. It keep asking me to purchase it and closes application when I try to. The game keeps asking me to buy it at the second half and resets itself halfway through.

A really interesting story with a lot of potential and a lot of great characters. However, it's quite short at the moment. And, in my opinion, the sotry progesses too fast. If the story slowed down a bit and you got to interact with the characters more, then this game would definitely be a must play.

Good so far but requires money of course. I like the amount of characters but I think you guys bit off more than you can chew. This has many characters but little story completed in each, I would mention other games that people want to continue but I would get chewed out for not making a review on that book instead, maybe I will just email you mentioning stuff that the community wants to continue, or maybe not because you might just reply with a bot. Whatever cool books whentheyareactuallydone.

This is an excellent quality game that is offered for free. Good way to draw new people in and with chapter 2 they can monetize. The story is outstanding. It is more like six short stories in one. My favorite character playthrough was the Solarian but they were all very entertaining. All six characters occupy the same universe and their stories intersect with one another. The writer did a great job linking all six stories. Highly recommend.

Punctuation errors, weak characterization, and poor layout of stats/characters leave the reader underwhelmed. The story shows promise and has many interesting points, but it has a way to go before it can live up to its potential.

I want to like the game; I want to play it and enjoy the experience, however the amount of typos and errors in the first couple pages alone is just too big a hurdle for immersion and enjoyment for myself. There was no way this story was proofread, much less even placed into a document for spell check, and I'm expected to pay money for this?

2.99 is definitely worth it. Your powers exponentially multiply. Yes i just used 'exponentially' and 'multiply' in the same sentence. I know. My favorite is the sun child. He becomes King of the Gods. Definitely on my repeated play list. The only downside is that once i repeat a playthrough it says i need to pay for it again. I click to one tap buy it but it says i already own it. I cant restore purchases because it says that i dont own it. Fix your game.

Nice story some spelling and grammer problems but i also do thoes. I also keep running into the problem of the story restarting which isnt fun plus it keeps saying i have to perches again. This is upsetting since i got told as a play subscriber its free for me then have to buy part two and it keeps saying i have to buy it again. Please look into the problems

Really engaging story, but the ending was sudden and made the choices I made feel unnecessary. I hope there is a continuation of this story in the making because I want to see where the story goes from here. As it is, I don't think this game is worth $3. I also wish there was an option to choose a neutral gender at the beginning too--having to pick between male or female was irritating as I don't ID as either. Until more story is added I recommend the free version.

I've yet to finish reading, but I already know that I would like it just like the others games that is in my favorite list. But I hope you put some glossary for words, I don't know if it is an error, or wrong grammar or wrong spelling(maybe even mix words) or simply just a words in English I've yet to encounter. But I searched it in dictionary(even in google too) and they don't have it in there. i.e. "tother" is just an examples of those words I saw.

Aside that I paid around 6 euros in the beginning for the whole story and plus 3 euros at the end for the second part which I couldn't get unlocked it's a good story. Update: For the developers of this app, thank you for fixing the issue with the second chapter so soon.

Unfortunately, the game is very small. It says chaper 1 is finished and then it restarts the game from the start. Also, it seems a bit rushed. It's really easy to start skipping over pages of dialogue

Love the story, but two small critiques. One the pacing is way to fast, it prevents you from getting to know the world. The second, the story is way to short. Hopefully the second game will be longer.
