Its the best turn based game on android plate form. Game requires a lot of grind and even after that competition is fair. I and my roommate use to play it pvp. Its a tough game and not like simple and less intense game. I am playing this game since 2.5 years. It will be interesting if they can bring some new mechanics or scenarios . More variety in terms of music and aesthetics can be introduced.

This is an awesome use of the platform. A true miniatures game that is challenging and entertaining. It still needs to be expanded (more scenarios please, without paying for them....a full storyline would be nice) but what is here gives it decent replayability. The controls are a bit "clunky" too, but not so that it interferes with game play. So for, so good guys! Keep building on it and you might have the next runaway hit game!!

Amazing in many ways, frustrating in others. Took me 10 tries to figure out the level 3 training. Needs a more in-depth tutorial. Also, it would be nice to be told that your Warband does NOT regenerate between scenarios, so if you lose 3 members in a battle, you start the next battle with 1 fighter. Impossible. All in all, I'd try it again after a few tweaks.

Great turn-based strategy, offering decent challenges for different skill levels, and the mini's&cards dynamic feels very nostalgic. Beautiful UI, but quite small; usable on mobile, probably better suited to a tablet. Unfortunately, about 20% of skirmishes are troubled by issues such as freezing (requiring restart), disruptive lag, and even units simply disappearing. However, will continue to play in the hopes that these issues get cleared.

I really want to like this game. The concept is good and who can pass up Japanese style skirmishing. It is almost unplayable on the phone, though. I cannot see or read half the stuff on the screen, controls are clunky, there is no redo though the clunkiness leads to frequent misplays. The cards are hard to use, both because of hard to read and the clunkiness of the ui. Graphics are good, it is just the controls that are bad. Wish they would improve usability.

Really great turn based, squad level tactical gameplay. Hex based, beautifully made battlegrounds. Super feels like you're playing a miniatures game. Roll dice, play cards, they really hit all the buttons, for me at least. Love the overall style and feel of the graphics. The only thing better would be to see a Warbands: Medieval and/or Fantasy come out, I would be all over that!!

The graphic is decent, although it reminds me more of a modern anime rather than samurai era Japan. The layout however is so cramped and the text is so small, i have squinted and still have problem reading them on my samsung s8 note. Game control a bit confusing as we have to drag cards over characters, which means we can accidentally drop it on the wrong character if it is close to the intended one. It would be better if we simply choose a character then choose (or not) a card, which would also allow a wider selection screen with much more readable text.

Fun game, but has serious problems. Fix the dice roll probabilities. During many games, i found that either I or my opponent dominates in terms of successful rolls, while the other can't do anything. Add links to your instructions. Who's bright idea was it to add a book which you have to turn through page by page? Fix the UI. I can't find my experience, nor that of my units. Experience counter doesn't show up properly, I need to press and hold, but it appears where I'm touching the screen.

I love the graphics and minis. They seems to have fixed the probably problem so the game is much better now. You can still have a run of exceptionally good or bad luck but now good tactics and strategy will win the game. It is challenging and the pvp aspects are fun to. Only complaint is having to buy new scenario packs, that just doesn't seem like a good deal to me, at least provide more information about what we are getting for our money or make them easier or cheaper to get.

This game got potential, really unique gameplay. But the dice doesn't actually random And that annoys me. At many fights in story mode, when the enemies number drop, suddenly it hard to get strike dice. Everything is expensive, but if you grind hard and long enough, you could get good fighters. It crashed often, if you minimize it suddenly got zoom in and you can't fight because the buttons didn't fit in the screen.

This is a beautiful and amazing game. I feel a bit sad that I don't have time to invest into learning it, as the game seems complex enough to allow players to develop deep strategies. The only reason I minused a star is due to personal preference - I would have rather not had miniatures and rather just had characters and cards. The art and sound are both incredible and authentic. This is a game for serious board-gamers and those willing to invest much time into the game for great strategic rewards. I wish Red Team all the best with this amazing product.

I genuinely tried to like this game, it has a fantastic premise and a style that is just great and belongs in a game like this. I even paid for a months subscription which leads me to the few issues which award the 2 star rating. The subscription feels almost mandatory to stand a chance after the first few hours. The daily dust and gold make it so you will actually be able to get the warband you want, albeit after a few days. Otherwise it is an immensely steep grind without alot of luck. Please note however the subscription is VERY reasonably priced, and I would happily pay it to enjoy this game, this isn't an issue as much as a warning label, sub opens the game. Now the actual issues: - You can ONLY level up your units in PvP matches, there is literally no other way or mode that awards units experience. What this means is you will be going into approx. 20-30 battles with a subpar team, just to level the units you want up, and because you go in with a subpar team, you are at a disadvantage and so the inevitable higher defeats will make it even harder to finish. I would love for a way to level units without joining a skirmish, as by the 2nd day I was simply instantly surrendering the moment I encountered a human player, as it was just ten times easier to keep doing this until I fought the AI bots that I could outplay with a lesser team, just make this a mode to level units Vs AI. -The PvE scenarios are okay, except for two glaring faults. 1.) The scenarios give no experience or gold or any reward but a single 5WP unit depending on the difficulty you completed, green for normal, blue for hard and legendary for insane, fair enough. The problem and 2.) Comes in that ONLY THE LEGENDARY VERSION MATTERS. Especially above rank 10 where legendary units are so powerful, and arena only allows legendary units, so this is your goal. This is an unrealistic goal however as you have to complete insane difficulty to do this, which has you face all fully levelled legendary enemies, often at a huge numbers disadvantage, and if you fail, unlike the other difficulties, you can't just restart that checkpoint, you have to restart the entire PvE campaign, so you wasted hours for nothing due to one bad dice roll which kills your guy on the final level of the campaign. What is the point of unlocking a legendary unit when you literally NEED full legendary units already just to complete the thing, it is reverse progression since you will likely already have the unit it unlocks just to stand a chance. I would like to see checkpoints added or some kind of compensation reward for time spent like unit experience. Try doing the Samurai campaign on insane difficulty, where you are severely outnumbered, lose your turn to a fresh batch of enemies when the next wave hits, and enemy archers that just spawned always get the first shot before you can react, free damage against you, and not even a checkpoint to restart at between 12 waves of enemies if you mess up. This is just poor level difficulty design for a reward you will already have by the point you can do this. As a final note, the dust system for getting rid of spare units and orders and creating new ones is mercilessly slow, hence the subscription helping so much. Not only by the incredibly low dust amount given, but the fact that you are expected to level up these terrible units, which links to problem 1.) About it taking ages and not being fun, further salts the wound. N,o I do not want to take an inexperienced waste of a unit into 20 battles just to get 5% closer to crafting that useful legendary unit... I enjoy the game at times, but because of these poor design aspects I find myself hating and closing the game more often than I find myself having fun. If you download it, pay the £4 and get a subscription though and you should honestly get a bit of entertainment out of it before the hump sets in.

loads of warriors to play, develop their skills, work out some sneaky as tactics and issue special orders. warning - progression is slow, which makes for a longer term challenge, not a pick up and throw away game - spend your gold on new scenarios and minis/cards not levelling up as i first thought, that happens by playing anyway; no need to spend cash in the app version either. links to my steam (also free) version so can play at home and on my phone :)

It's a good game. Good depth of unit options and good gameplay generally. Lacks explanation about unit xp. Hard to read skill cards during battle because you have to enlarge by drag and hold, but then you can't read it because your finger is in the way. I thought skirmish matchmaking should be based on warband points spent - not player level.

Played for a few days now and enjoying it so far. It has a potential. A few things in my opinion worth implementing in the future updates: increased variety of maps/boards, terrain variations adding advantages/disadvantages (i.e.: to movement - swamp, stream; to hits - altitude), additional cards picked in scenario cover the postpone move button. I also had a problem with an in-game purchase - but it has been refunded the next day👍 (lost connection while buying miniatures 10 pack, payment went through but packs not appeared). Keep it going guys!

This is the BEST turn based combat game I've played on mobile. Many options to build and improve a team of fighters, with the battle outcomes based slightly on luck, and almost exclusively on skill. A beautiful game, that is fun to play again and again. Every battle is a new experience!

I am fresh with this type of gameplay and I really liked the aesthetic of the simulated tabletop game. Although I haven't completed a scenario mission I can say that it really tickles the brain on what strategy to employ to beat a number of enemies with a set number of resources combined with tactics and a bit of luck. Definitely a must try for strategy afficionados.

I love the game, it is nicely animated, challenging and I love the miniatures theme. The 4 stars is for the difficulty in playing skirmishes where there are not always opponents available. If you could cancel the search, without force closing the game it would be better.

An incredible strategy game that does rely on the luck of the dice (think D&D). The coins come pretty easily so if you want more cards/figures etc (which are super fun to collect!) Then you can do so really easily! Haven't paid anything yet but I might just cos of how fun it is!

Game is great but theres too much blocking and too much op characters. The ronin with two swords is way too overpowered to where i have to shoot the guy in the back. Please fix the blocking and nerf the characters.

Unfortunately did not enjoy the game at all. It suffers from a Poor UI, and cluttered menus with a shallow strategic game. The tutorial and help guides are very lacking. Game is very difficult to win in the beginning without spending some cash, and it is very grindy after that. Disappointed.
