Wargame: Poland 1939
This is a wargame, developed in html5/javascript and Cocoonjs. Please post comments. Note that it requires higher end devices to work.
This game simulates the 1939 Axis invasion of Poland by Germany and their Slovakian allies. The game focuses on the Axis invasion, and does not cover the Soviet invasion.You can play against another player "hotseat" or else play either side against your device.
Gameplay involves moving your units on a map of Poland. The map is organised into hexes to regulate movement. If you tap on a unit, hexes it can move to are highlighted in yellow. Tap on a highlighted hex to move there. If there is an enemy unit present, combat will occur.
The units represent the military formations actually present in 1939. Mostly these are divisions, but some are brigades or army headquarters. You can place (stack) up to five units in a single hex. Tapping on the hex will rotate the units, with the selected one at the top.

Amazing game with no replayability, I highly recommend playing it twice (once as each side) but after that there's not much left to do apart from playing Vs a different ai.
can you do a update that you can make the polish troops go to the sea and go to france and britan
Great game but plz improve some things 1 have upgrades you can buy that would make it more customisable also make the battle system more realistic with for example +2 to infantry in the mountains also plz improve graphics in new update other wise great great game but plz update it like dat, then I'll definitely give five stars,
Awsome little wargame. I have purchased other games from this publisher as he puts together some of the very best wargames available for Android.
Another great DK Simulations game. I have been playing the Sicily game for years on the Barnes&Noble ebook. These are uncomplicated, and have serious long term re-playability

Still will not run...uninstalling If you want quality war games look fo games by Nuutinen or Tiller. DK is ok....for beginners........if they work Eq: Sam 10.1 tab Android 4.0.4
Considering this is a HTML 5 app, it is really great. Could do with some UI improvements and a little more stability, but not bad at all
Nice 21st Century app for a 20th Century game.
Only reason I docked a star is performance on older hardware, to be expected though really with the tech used to develop. Otherwise an excellent wargame, great looking clean easy to read counters, ditto for the map and an interesting scenario with well explained rules.
Really like the game! It's a great historical simulation. Would like to see more games like this using the same system.
When I go to instal it doesn't let me instal all it does is stay one the download part pleese fix

It seems to not open on htc wildfire s. I would love to play this. Please fix it, not for me but for many other people to play.
Love the format, needs some work but great potential! Need a way to identity units without movement points- make them clear or dark? Popup screens are too big or need an x in the corner to close them
Does seem a bit unstable, once I completed the scenario and it locked up, another time I got the end screen but couldn't get out of it. The mechanics seem a bit vague also, especially when it seems units should be in or out of supply. And the historical luftwaffe support is not modeled well.
The AI is terrible, so playing solitaire or with a friend is really the only way to do it. I could debate some minor historical aspects (terrain, Polish withdrawal, Russian involvement), but generally speaking it is a VERY challenging game for the Germans to "win." Warsaw will always fall eventually, the question of true victory is how fast can you take it?
this game looks like it has a nice idea and look to the game. however when i start the game it starts and is swiftly followed by a force quit, this may just be my phone not being good enough or if the game needs refineing. thankyou

Really fun game. Mechanics work really well. If you can get past it's 90s feel, you will really enjoy it. Limited replayability but there are several modes to try. Instructions could be a bit clearer, if the developer had divided them into a few more pages it would be a lot easier to read them. But it's so much fun I can't give less than 5 stars.
