Great set-up. Easy to follow. They were quick to remind me by email that I needed to submit a photo of the receipt. Only problem was, when I went to register my husband's screen protector, I verified that the set up does not prompt you to take a photo of the receipt. I also couldn't find a way to add it after using the app. Will keep looking...
The website and app will not submit a claim. I entered all the information and hit submit but nothing happens. Starting to wonder if this is all a scam.
The run around with having the screen replaced has been frustrating. My husband had to go through an 'approved' company which was not in our own community. At first warranty life wouldn't approve the replacement so, apparently thre couldn't put the phone on the shelf. He sent it away 3 months ago and still has yet to recieve the phone back. There is excuse after excuse as to why the phone has not been returned. I would not recommend this screen. They have to remove the screen and replace it all.
Had trouble trying to get a clear picture with their app. The pictures I took with my camera were crystal clear but when I tried to use them from my gallery them they were cropped out. The pictures I took using their "take a picture" option were of bad quality.
Pretty good and easy to use app. My only complaint is trying to take a "clear" picture of the recipt using the app it won't focus so the picture is not clear. And when trying to upload a picture it won't allow the entire picture to be selected.
Easy to use I see people had trouble taking a photo for the warranty. I have no idea if they will accept it as I haven't made a claim but the packing slip I got with the delivery had the info they say is required so I just used that. Had no issue taking a picture of that and submitting it. People buying in a store this wouldn't help
Trying to take a picture of the receipt for insurance was very difficult didn't matter if I use the camera or one from my gallery I could not get the full receipt and have it clear as well. kind of had to meet it in the middle with half receipt while maintaining the clarity of the picture.
The app worked fine. I don't know if they would ever honor a claim due to the fact that the pictures they ask for are subjective and they could easily deny at their discretion. I did research, unfortunately after I purchased the liquid screen protector, and most said it really isn't much better than the actual glass that is already on the phone. Will they honor it? I hope I don't have to find out.
The app was easy to use with the exception of taking a photo of the receipt which is a bit blurry regardless of how many photos I took. Hopefully it will satisfy the company if I should ever need to take advantage of the warranty.
Third...sorry 4th device covered by Warranty Life. First brand new one! I'm not interested in the shape one or the one shoved down my throat by the carrier. Don't make a costly mistake. Coverage is easy to start and directions to register are easy to follow and complete. I do miss in person calls to customer service, but thats the new way,, and the emails come.fairly quickly with responses.. Warranty Life claims take time, but are painless.and worth the savings. See ya next time. :)
This is straight garbage! Can't file a claim nor can I get in contact with anyone. Wasted my money!
App froze. Just like all the other reviews had said. If I would have read the reviews, I probably wouldn't have bought the product. The screen saver looks good. I hope it works. Now I have to go back to the store and get them to try to register this product. I paid full retail because I have a Galaxy 8+.
You'll never get your money refunded. This company is a scam. I did everything I was supposed to to get my screen fixed and have the money refunded. Suddenly, Sprint is in charge of giving me the refund because the company was "bought out". Stay away from the liquid screen protector. Their warranty is a scam and worthless.
app is very user unfriendly. did everything right to register (well thought I did). trying to make a claim as I dropped the phone and now has cracks. they are saying the register was never finalized within 30 days. I have receipt showing proof of purchase and screen test.....but they refused my claim still so I'm going to the ACCC.
Everything os easier maybe strange but i can understand why the tests are there. Only problem is the camera. I couldn't get a clear picture of the proof of purchase using the in app camera program but could witu no hassle once i left and used the phones camera. And when its the first picture you take on a new phone it made me wonder if my camera was gabarge.
They won't actually fix your phone if it breaks. They'll use this app to remove your registration info and tell you that you never registered in the 30 day period even if you provide emails, screenshots, or any form of valid proof. Pretty much scammers.
NO STARS... Worst product ever purchased for protection of any of my phones... We purchased this product, salesman applied to our new phones... never told us we had to download the app nor that we had to register the product. We have had two broken screens (which has always been protected by my old screen protector) within the week and we cannot claim because we are not registered. Also, tried to register anyway but it asks for a serial number I cannot locate. I would never ever recommend...
If I could give them 0 stars I would. The reason I downloaded the app was because I got a screen protector that said if I register this they would pay for the fixing. They have lots of loopholes to get out of helping you. Will never purchase from the company again. They scam you. Dont buy into it.
Total garbage! App gives me an error message when trying to enter the product number. Can't even register. Buy from somewhere else with actual customer service. I'm on board for the class action!
Why do you need access to all our posts, all content we create, texts, video, images, & other media, & the location/date any of these were created??? What does this have to do with protecting our device??? I'll tell you! THIS INFORMATION IS LIKELY SOLD TO 3rd PARTIES! I will delete the app in exactly 1 year!!!
My phone fell out of my pocket causing the screen to crack a few months after purching the Key Liquid Screen Protector. I registered the product soon after purchase uploading the serial number and receipts. When I made a claim, they said they couldn't find the information on the site. I sent them emails with copies of all my receipts and phone information, and never got a reply back. I called the offices and no one answers. I recommend you do not purchase any products backed by warrantylife.
Super Easy to use, but I do not like that you have to use a mirror for a picture of the front screen, it can be difficult and manipulate how the screen looks.
Smooth operation in filling out the information required, except for photographing sales receipt. What u c thru the lens, and what you actually get, R 2 different images . Otherwise 5 star.
Horrible Company. I will even go as far as saying that this company is a JOKE! Only bought the Key liquid glass protector since Sprint was selling them and actually promoted it. They refuse to register my product. I'm scared to even think of whether or not they'll actually reimburse for repairs as advertised if I ever need to file a claim. Again...horrible!!!
It froze and then took forever to try to use so I just missed the warranty entry time. Wouldn't autofill any info. Bad design. App really sucks. Product better not be of same bad quality.
Asks for a lot of personal info for a screen protector app, then failed after getting all that info b/c I'm past the arbitrary 30 day time limit to register, even though my phone is still fine.
if I could give it no stars I would. it isn't worth buying their products. the liquid glass scratches very easily and they don't honor claims for stupid reasons. you are better off buying a glass one off Amazon or wish.
I would not buy their product or use this app. They are scammers. I needed to use the warranty on my phone and they did not honor it because they said I never registered my phone. In fact I did, and I have screen shots to prove it. So I am looking at a class action lawsuit because there are many others who have said the same thing.
First off, I had no problem with the app freezing as others have claimed. Just don't be stupid, and navigate yer way thru it. Second, I've used a liquid screen protector I bought from Sam's (hint) in the past and been happy with it, and this one seems tougher than the other one (no scratches after two weeks compared to one day with the other) and resists oil and finger shmear better. As for all the complaints about broken screens, all i can say is: if yer not a friggin idiot-stupid moron (yer not, are you?) and you can avoid treating yer fone like a basketball, you'll be fine and the screen won't break. Just hold yer fone in. Yer. HAND! Don't drop it! HEY KIDDIES!! Ain't that simple?? It's actually really easy. Try it. Once.
This app requires to many permissions to get the full benefit resulting in it basically always running. It is a major battery drain.
