Warship Girls

This game is literally a less obfuscated Kantai Collection (with worse art and limited voice acting, imo). Game crashed as soon as I made an account. Will look into it more later. I also got stuck in a quest loop during the tutorial and wasted a lot more blueprints than necessary. Also features horribly overpriced expansions for docks, baths, and more! Took over an hour to update over 4G LTE. What a joke.

I keep hearing that it's really similar to Azur Lane. After playing it, I can see it and it's really similar to Azur Lane and Kantai Collection, especially Kantai Collection. The character designs of each characters are not really good, specifically there are not a lot of unique designs in each unlike Azur Lane but they look good. But other than that, if you played Kantai Collection, you would know how to play this. Overall, the game is not unique but it is pretty fun to play.

This game was enjoyable. I really like the chibis when they fight. Although, the art styles seem to vary differently among the girls. It also bugs a lot and crashes. Now, about the "Azur Lane(AL) rip-off topic". In fact, although I'd say AL is superior, this cannot be comparable to AL. The gameplay is too different to even be compared AL. AL is actually more of a successor, being released later. Warship Girls would actually be much more comparable to Kantai Collection.

Fun game to play and love the character designs but I wish you received diamonds once a week or something. Everything needed to improve gameplay such as more space for ship repair or even costumes can only be purchased with diamonds, which in turn can only be acquired by literally buying. Now every free to play game has this currency system but they at least make it available in game too rather than strictly shelling out cash. Even a special event for earning diamonds would help.

Let's not beat around the bush. It is literally a Kancolle clone but with a crapton more ships. Also, the XP boost is a nice bonus compared to Kancolle. However, the game itself isn't something to be proud of. PVP is a joke since high level ships await and you have zero hope of getting a win unless you seal clubbing hard. At least Kancolle is able to challenge higher levels to some degree. After World 1, everything gets grindy hard. Stay away until they fix.

i played the original version of this game back in 2015, when it launched in China. Other reviews are correct: in form and function this game was and is a slightly improved clone of the 2014 game Kantai Collection (which never launched outside of Japan). At their cores, Warship Girls and Kancolle are almost pure RNG; if you can't stomach that, Azur Lane is the better choice.

its not bad. but i really hope you expand of the foundation you have. has potential honestly. update: Minus one star. Game has started crashing every time I open modding menu. There better be compensation for that special mission.

Character designs are nice, but getting resources to do missions, building ships, or equipment takes too long without sending money. There is no way to farm effectively to gain resources in the early game other than wait.

To those who don't understand this game (WGR): WGR is a kancolle-like game with local mods (more approachable UI/UX, extra skill system, less complicated numerical system and design etc); it was released on 2014 (Azur Lane was 2016). WGR has tons of hidden mechanisms to be studied on, which is suitable for Otaku players (i.e, if u just want a fast-food shipfu game, then pls skip WGR and go for AL). Last thing, the game is not really started until you reach chapter 6-1 ;)

i love them....but lack of response for devs make it become worse.... i already sent ask them..the devs to fix certain ship when their be upgrade molding to 6star the become mute.... example BB class Washington and Richlieu when upgrade to 6star their voice dissappear and it make me so angry and sad....Overall this game so great and awesome....and if you add regular event or quest to fight new boss it will be so great.... anyway love this game <3

Needs better and more sound effects (specially for battles). Very long additional patch download upon first installation. Battles need a speedup option since all the ships miss all their shots the first 5 turns.

Haven't started playing yet so I'll give it 3 stars for now until I've actually played it. However, if you can try to find a way for the player to download the content more quickly, that would be preferred as not everybody are patient enough to wait for an hour just to load the uptade. Players are about to start playing for the first time and they are already desperately unhappy from the long wait. But once I've played, I'll uptade this review.

Is enjoyable but a team with basically 3 BB and 3 CV is invencible, all the others type of ships are useless. The game have potential but if they don't improve the battle system and cut the prices this game gonna be a complete failure.

Game was addicting at first but then went down hill, i didn't mind the bad detail of ship since this game is still somewhat new but the thing that i find really annoying are the resources, they are really lacking when you need it and ship building isn't easy

This game took forever to download, leveling up did nothing, it constantly mixed up what I wanted it to do, it lags badly, and the graphics are terrible. This is one of the worst games I have ever played.

It is truly adorable game, as the characters personality shows their true colors of art, I really like it, hope this game will continue to make amends of different character rewards.

Overall a good and fun game. But I think that there should be a description of each type of warship because for me they are just a bunch of letters, like what does DD means, or BB, or CL. I really hope there would be the actual name of the type,like Destroyer and others. There should be a better explaining of how things work and a better building system that is not based entirely on luck, for example I spent 600 of all my resources but I got a 3 star ship in the end, the same goes for equipment.

I've decided to give this a 4 star for their attempt to release this into the west. If comparisons are to made then compare it to KC than AL as this did come out earlier than AL. Download speed is abysmal. Even with fast internet speed, you'll be downloading at a snails pace. There's a weird volume bug that's irritating. Artwork is meh, neither bad nor good. Like KC you mostly rely on rng when battling, you'll either win or lose by chance. Definitely not for me but KC fans might like this.

I say after playing this game it's fun and it have strategy element, but the battle is otomatic so not for everyone I guess. but it's fun and whe you get a BB a CV the fun starts, and the 6 Platon position is the way to play this game. It's a Getga game after all and a nice one too, it have many ships and nations in the game enemy's to fight against in PvE and matches against other players. Friend system, billing ships system, drop system in aftermath of battles, café for ship to eat, and more

Would it be possible to host the larger and more important game files on google play, to speed up download times? Doesn't really make sense to force such a large download that requires the game to be open to make progress when the max download speed is around 200kbps in the app.

Exact cheap replica of azur lane, dont mind if the concept of ship girls is used but at least make changes in terms of the game mechanics and system. Even the characters are similar and so is the construction and exercise system. New players just play Azur Lane

Bootleg Azur Lane, evrything is the same from the game mechanics to the artstyle, crashes (frequently), definitely needs improvement, if you're gonna try to copy another game at least make it 110% working, kudos for trying though.

It has a lot of small details that are irritating. 1st, you are deceived by the size of the game. After the first download and installation, you get to wait for a huge "update" package of almost 14k files and more than 1Gb to download. 2nd, you can only login using Google game store. The other two do not work. 3rd, there are a lot of things without explanation or a written help file in game, e.g., the Office or the Dormitory. 4th, research and construction results are random, and more...

A very nice game (worth the download) i watch this game on youtube continuously i have only one request can you make battle 3-3 easier im kinda stuck well it says in the wikia i need 6 carriers and pls add more character voice this game may be old but not dead. Also pls make(my waifu) Repulse stronger. Thanks

Takes too long download and idk why you they make it easy to download app, but not the game itself. Would rate it 0 stars if I could because I can't even play it after downloading app instead I got another 1gb download page. What waste of time, Azur Lane is better than this game every way or all ways around.

If this game released 4 years ago to EN, the reception will be better. You may like this game if you liked Kantai Collection. Otherwise, stay away. I'm giving homage to just3c and appreciating the attempt for reaching international players. The review as the current app rating is very sad. This kind of game (shipgirl game) is very rare found in english.

Game takes far too long to download, even when connected to my wifi it was downloading files at a rate of about 2 files a second (to be generous), and with about 17k files to download, I'm not going to waste my time with it, I'll just stick to Azur Lane 🤭

Was good to start with but with the Halloween update its gone crash happy. Can't get it to load. Sent a message to the developer for help. Ignored. Deleted.

Hello dev team...can you help me fix ..there certain character like Richieu if i pronounce it name correctly...she just doesnt speak anymore after upgrade it to 6star.. after molding it.... can you fix this....overall this game was great.....i love it.... Sorry to say I did not play yet because it was still downloading and it's still going it's been a week and still so if you can try and do something about it that would be grate. (It's as slow as a snail taking a dump and to think I have to wait till 1722 goes to zero)
