This app makes it easier to pay for laundry only because paying by card is nearly impossible (it takes about 10 minutes of failed attempts before it reads a card of mine, old or brand new). Sometimes it decides that you did NOT start a machine and will lose your timer. It will also freeze a lot. It has the worst reliability for 'available machines' in that it's never accurate. And the feedback button on the app just gives you the option to copy the questions. Only use because I have to.

I can only do my wash with the app. I have never been able to get the app to work for the dryers.. the app trys to connect with the dryers. But, it just hangs and spins on my phone never connecting. I have literally spent hours in hopes of getting the app to work on the dryers to no avail. I had one of the service tech come out and they could n ot get it to work either and said something in regard to the box on the machine may be the issue. So, off to the laundry mat i go to wash my clothes.

Very slow and buggy. Generally, things work. But a large percentage of the time the app hangs in weird places, especially when selecting to pay. Often, machines report to the app that they're finished when they're not, and they show up as unavailable in the app. This means you can't extend the dryer, for instance.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it with poor results Users should be able to choose the amount to put on the account rather than fixed amounts set by wash connect. Machines in my complex operate on 1.75 per load. Therefore if I have to do 3 loads, the $10 minimum is not enough. I would have to load an additional $10 to finish. I would honestly give a better rating if that changed. So far still hate wash connect. Would give 0/5 stars if possible.

This is not a review of the app, but the service as a whole; the payment systems were changed making the current (now obsolete) cards useless while still having a balance on them. The machines in my location have been in poor shape, often not doing anything, yet still taking my money. Beginning to look if there is any litigation that can be pursued to correct this, since the company doesn't seem to have enough incentive to do so on their own.

App does not clear old notices. That washer that finished last week, and 25 other people have used since? Still on your list with "now finished". [ Old msg trimmed] Update:. Finally found the way to slide the notice to reveal the delete button. Discovered by accident when trying to add time to a dryer. I also think a single screen display would be enough. Machines in green are available, orange in use by me, and grey or hidden for machines in use by others.

They charge $1.55 for every load and make it so you can only preload in increments of like $10. I'll never be able to get down to a balance of zero. I would be much more likely to continue using the app, along with my complex's washer and dryer, if I could add specific amounts so as to not be perpetually with $10 on the app.

Only useful for starting machines. The "availability checking" is completely unreliable and it rarely tells you that your laundry is done on time, if it actually does at all. It regularly does not send me alerts when machines are done and frequently crashes or desyncs from the machines I am standing directly next to. Full bars, not connecting to wifi.

We use this for the apartment and it's hasn't been a good experience on neither my significant other and myself. I couldn't add an extra quarter after I paid for the dryer. My man tried using it and it took him an hour to work it because it kept saying there was saying wrong. He couldn't create an account on his phone, nor can I sign in on his phone. He couldn't add funds to the app. It was a really bad experience.

Can't report if the cards for the machines don't work on a machine can only say it's out of order as an option so if it's a minor issue you can't really report it. Sometimes the machines will charge you 2-3 times but doesn't happen to often just enough that it's a problem. Don't mind the proximity needed to start loads but don't like how you have to be right next to them to even extend the time in the app which makes it annoying when you live on the other side of the complex

The updates within the last year have turned this app into the helpful tool it was intended to be. I still have some connectivity issues but that is more an issue with our building than the app (we also have cell service issues). I typically use the card instead of the app but it works when I need to use it.

I never write reviews for any app, nothing really impresses or irritates me enough to do so. This app is an exception though. This service is beyond useless, it manages to take laundry (a chore i already dont like doing) and manages to make it even more annoying and time consuming. It takes an extra 10 minutes just to connect to the right machine, and even if it does half the time it just sits there and loads while you wait for the option to start the machine. Id rate it lower if i could.

Seems a bit silly to review an app I have no choice in using because it's just what my apartment management forces us to use for laundry. It works okay I guess, but I cannot always connect easily to machines in my building and it takes a few tries or more. Seems to work a bit better with my new phone. A sweet feature though would be, there should be a way to send a notification to the last person who used a machine, that way if they forget to come get their laundry you can remind them.

This is the worst app. Terrible UI. (Response) Well the app usually does not connect to the machines, takes forever to load when it does, and is generally terribly designed. The notifications don't disappear on a swipe like every other app ever, and the pop ups stay up for way too long with no way to tap or swipe them away. The only conclusion is that it was designed by someone who has never used an app before.

Awful, barely functional Bluetooth - sometimes OK, sometimes takes several minutes to connect, sometimes hangs the app entirely requiring a manual restart. No excuse for requiring Bluetooth when perfectly good Wi-Fi is available for both app and washer/dryer. Poor UI design as well, with availability and start-cycle functions in identical but separate menus. Graphics are well done, and the automatic countdown timer is a good idea (though it doesn't always go off at the right time).

Not much to add, so I'll just echo the other users' experiences: I have yet to go through a laundry day without having this app fail in some way, taking several minutes to half an hour to get going again. I do want to give credit to the support team, because they're very responsive and put in a lot of time troubleshooting with me. Unfortunately that troubleshooting hasn't led to a fix, just a bunch of workarounds, some of which work sometimes. ||| Edited to clarify (in response to WASH's reply below): I have emailed WASH support, and spent a long time going back and forth with them on various fixes. Despite their efforts, they were not able to provide any solutions. (As noted above, they did suggest ways that they said had worked for other users. I go through the list of suggestions every time the app fails to connect or fails to start the machine. Sometimes, one of them works! But it still takes a while to do it, especially since there's no way to tell on the app whether the app is hanging or just taking a long time to load.)

Completely non user friendly. Loading time takes forever and give you no instructions on how to use it. App pay only so major inconvenience for those who don't have good service in the area are stuck with that inconvenience. Just to load 1 washer can take 10 min because of it. Then when you try to pay as well it'll take a full 2 min before you can actually pay when you get the hang of the app. All in all, time-wasting, inconvenience, and non user-friendly.

My overall experience with the app has been good. I do have a few points of criticism. I wish the range of the bluetooth was better. I would like to check if any machines are available before I make my way with my basket to the laundry room. Save two forms of payment in the app. My fiance and I rotate who loads money to the app.. It's bothersome to have to input our cards numbers each time since it only saves one form of payment.

Half the time the app doesn't connect to the machine for payment. And another portion of the time, the dryer forces you to pay multiple times for it to start. I still have issues using this app. I did one load and got the full 45 minutes. I started a second load and the dryer gave me 0 minutes. I had to top up for full price and the machine have me 22 minutes. This happens quite frequently. The app just steals money from you.

It has a lot of features. You can see If the washers are available if your complex is small enough for the range. Mine is which is nice. I just wish that it displayed them and said unavailable instead of not showing them because then I'm wondering if it's out of range. I would give it another star if it loaded faster and if it adjusted the payment if I change a setting that makes it cheaper. Other then those complaints it's well designed.

So much worse than just swiping a card. Everything either takes forever or just straight up breaks, and you still have to touch the machine so it doesn't even help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The only good thing about this app is it sometimes breaks so badly that it starts the machine without withdrawing money. Don't use this if you have a choice, which you probably don't.

Absolutely horrible. The only reason I use it is because the nearest laundromat is far away and the only machines in my apartment require this terrible app. Buttons are unresponsive, the interface is super glitchy and sometimes flat out refuses to connect via Bluetooth. Once or twice, it displayed every single machine in the room except the one I was trying to use. I don't know if they're working on any of these problems, but they should be. I despise doing laundry purely because of this app.

Clunky, buggy, and hard to navigate. I was hoping this would be an improvement over PayRange when the company switched, but it's even more frustrating. At least with PayRange it would detect and display which machines were near you, instead of having to scan a QR or type a number into a field every single time.

Low on funds, attempted to refill after starting to wash a load, received "Service Unavailable" for all attempts to refill and auto-refill. Absolutely ridiculous that the only payment method is in-app. It was somewhat convenient until I ran into this issue. A more reliable backup payment system, like via the website, is absolutely necessary to prevent situations like this from happening in the future.

When my washroom changed to this system it took me by surprise and it's in the name of convenience, ha. That 10 dollars is the minimum load amount is annoying and the connectivity is spotty at best. Worse than that, the only good thing is that, at first, the app told me when my clothes were done. Now it won't clear earlier cycles and ignores my current load Update. It logged me out and won't send a password reset link. They're basically stealing.

I hate this stupid thing. It takes several minutes to load even the most basic features. Navigation is kind of a hit buttons and hope it takes you where you need, since hitting back on your phone just closes the app. I HATE that I have to load it with money that I have no guarantee I'll get back if I move. I'm EXTREMELY jaded that my building took away the quarter slot for payment, which worked. The only reason its 2 stars instead of 1 is because it does, in the barest sense of the word, work.

The app is okay but it takes forever to connect when I'm trying to add more time. The add more time option used to add 15 minutes and now it only adds 10. The minimum amount you can add to your balance is $10 but you should be able to type in any amount you want to add from $0.25 up...especially since you can no longer use coins. How are people without smartphones (many seniors live here) supposed to do laundry? I preferred the payrange app to this one.

Not always able to connect to the app. I have used it with my wi-fi which reaches our laundry room and with data. I tested it when a machine didn't connect. I went to another set of machines in the same building and it worked. It's hit or miss too frequently. Good concept but can be a time waster when this happens.

This app is consistently slow and janky. Machines will randomly not populate, or will pinwheel and not allow you to add funds. It doesn't help that at least at my complex, the default cycle lengths are much stingier than the previous provider, and extending time is painful because of having to repeat the entire process for every 10 minutes added. The cycle completion timers are also inaccurate. All around unpleasant to use.

It's a total pain to add extra time to the dryers. Also more than half the time it doesn't load or connect to the machines. I spend almost as much time trying to "load money" into the machine as it takes to wash a load of clothes!! Not much that's quick easy or convenient with this app other than escalating my frustration every time I have to do laundry. The old pay range app my apartment used to use was 10x better than this thing. I hate this.
