Decent app until last update locked me out. Can only use biometric login to sign into the app, then I'm blocked by a pop-up saying my app needs to be updated. The app IS up to date with auto-update on. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and still got the same message. No way to get past it to do anything.
Can't do anything on this app. Can't request a new garbage can, or add/ change a service, no large pick up, nothing. The app is useless except to see how outrageously high your bill is.
Slow as can be...would like the specifics of agreement. What exactly is included coverage... Ex. Tote,bags,recyclables, large objects...
I'm sure I'm not the only person who cares about the functionality of an app. And let me just say this app Is not good. I can't access billing at all. I wanted to get another pickup but it's almost like they purposely make it to where you can't ask for on. You can't call either they'll never get back to you or pick up. Poorly made app/company
Just updated the app and everytime I log in it keeps telling me I need to update but it's already been updated and keeps looping around and around and around and around again and again and again 🤣 guess I won't pay my bill this month
The app works about as well I expected based on my previous experience with WM (the bar wasn't all that high). It's straightforward enough, pretty basic stuff, profile, payments, etc. But the "contact us" button signs you out of the app and back to sign on screen! But then again I can't really blame them as their phones would be ringing off the hooks all day long with people calling to complain about the incompetence of their drivers who deliver the trash bins to the wrong address, etc.
Never works or loads. I make sure to have the app and my phone system updated and this hardly ever loads anything on the app. Also never sends me a reminder about bills or services to my email or phone like I have requested within the app. Garbage, just like this company.
Trying to pay my bill online through the app as always...says to update app....I did and even uninstalled and reinstalled and still pops up with update and won't let me get to my account. When my bills late not my fault! Fix your app!
I recall leaving a nice remark about your efforts w/ app. Get a secretary wud be great. I've got screenshot showing pd, pd, & elsewhere I'm being double charged, + charged for cart removal and I've noticed late charge of 2.5%. that's $1.05 yet you charge $5. That's like 12%. I was advised to buy stock in wm. I did. Knowing how it's run and treats it's patrons. IDK how it's done but it seems that it could or should go into neg. I had made pmt & gave new card. Shes still billing old card. Jeeez
Nothing works in the app. Horrible lag in loading pages.
Slow as snot and requires me to use my thumb print to see my garbage service that day.
It logs me out everytime I open the app. Annoying.
This app doesn't tell you anything useful. No calendar of service, no service dates, just ambiguous descriptions like "every other Monday" but it doesn't give you a starting point to figure out if this is the week to haul cans to the curb or not. Some functions, like "report a missed pickup" just pop up a message saying "use the website instead" I've used many bad and/or useless software over the years, but this one takes it to a new level. Don't bother installating.
App is completely worthless unless you just want to pay your bill. All of their advertisements state that you can adjust your service online, but you cannot. The only thing you can do is schedule a pickup. For everything else, you have to call somebody. I've only been with this company for a month and it's as horrendous is the garbage it picks up. I switched emails and have to delete/install the app completely just to enter my new email as I have biometrics enabled and there's no login page.
I really don't like this update and wouldn't recommend any longer. This new version seems to be a crunched up version of the website, and it's very tricky to navigate. The previous version was so much simpler, it felt like a good mobile experience. it had its flaws, but that's what the update should have fixed. I would much rather go on my computer to schedule a pickup than use this app now.
App never works always crashes. Click on services and it just basically sits there and spins. Nothing ever works no matter when I go on to look.
BEWARE!!! The level of incompetence in their bookkeeping department makes this company not worth doing business with. What a frustrating waste of time trying to communicate basic math and basic billing to these people. I don't know how they stay in business.
What was once a no frills app (no pick up notifications/ calendar export etc) is now just totally unusable (I can't even see when my recycling days are any more). Basically if you need to do anything beyond paying a bill it will not do much for you. I am currently very much missing the city-run apps and services that I had used before signing up for WM.
Useless app I tried to see when my bill was due and it told me nothing and now I'm negative because it just pulls out whenever it feels like it 🖕
Updated app does pretty much everything I need to manage WM. It shows dates of pick up schedule ( recycle and trash) and let's me edit payment methods. There is a button to replace my broken trash can but it doesn't work on the app. WM seems to be making progress in their efforts to improve the app.
Is this real? I just tried to add my info and opt into text alerts via a WM email, and NOTHING works. Glitches and errors and double profiles. This is either a joke or someone's homework assignment from 1999.
Whoever developed this app does not understand how apps work. The sign up procedure just keeps sending in an endless loop. It tells you to complete the process with a verification email and when you do you get a message that you are already signed up and need to complete with the verification email. Then it sends you another email and this repeats itself indefinitely until you just stop trying. It then tells you to enter an ID that is not the same as your account number. Ridiculous.
Problems with log in. If you have biometrics enabled it will not log in or launch. If you chose save log in info, it will not log in or launch, even after re entering your log in info manually.
More often than not, I select the option to view my services and receive an error. Only after stopping the app and relaunching will it sometimes display this page correctly. I use the app to confirm my collection day has not changed. Without this feature, the app is essentially useless.
Having to sign in everytime is annoying.
Unfortunately this app is broken for my main use case --- finding out if it is a recycling week or not. It claims every week is a recycling week, instead of the proper every-other-week schedule. I submitted a bug report months ago, but it still hasn't been fixed. Might as well just use the mobile site instead of this app.
No one responds to missed pickups on the app. It's useless. It's a black hole. How about actually picking up the trash on the days we PAY MONEY FOR! I've been paying for a service and not actually receiving the service. Didn't pick up trash 6 days in a row after calling them every day. Made commitments they didn't keep. Trash is still on the street on day 6.
