their is always something wrong with this app 😡 i always have to keep signing up every single time and when you are watching the screen is sometimes blurry and it keeps shutting down over and over again. If all of the other apps didn't have low reviews than i wouldn't had download the app. Everytime I add a show on my favorite it doesn't even save so i have to keep going back and add it again multiple times and it keeps taking my stuff out, every time I add something the other one is erased.
App will not load. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. App starts and will not load beyond the splash screen. Just splash screen with animated "loading" circle that never changes. Problem ongoing 30 plus days. Samsung Galaxy Note9, android version 9. Edit: I'll be darned, clearing cache & data worked this time. I tried that before (after reading other reviews) but it had no effect. This time it appears to work. Will give the app some use & add that 5th star if everything works
Chromecast function on this app is a joke and needs to be fixed
Unfortunate. Decent interface, ability to cast, and at least as many unskippable ads as broadcast television. As you need a cable provider to use the app it offers nothing except for not being able to flip channels during commercials. Unless you like being forced to sit through the same 4 or 5 ads every 5 minutes.
I have this on both Roku and tablet. No problems related to its function. I do take issue with C.C.'s requirement for a linked pay TV service. I would gladly pay a small monthly fee to use this as a stand alone app. That ability would have earned a 5 star review.
Ad spam is insane. You can barely get through a single scene before you're forced to sit through a loop of 8 ads and then forget what happened 5 ago when the show resumes. And God forbid you rewind around one of the "ad checkpoints" and need to watch the entire sequence again.
Was decent before the latest update. It would have previously let you watch shows with ads, restricting only the "Live" content to require a tv provider account. Now with this latest update, it's slow to load and it seems nearly all content needs a tv provider subscription to work.
Update the app with current seasons of current shows. My DVR cut out & only recorded partial shows of CARNIVAL EATS which should be Season 10 & w/o reruns scheduled I can't watch it. CARNIVAL EATS is just 1 example of numerous shows! Other than that I love the app but the only reason I signed in to this app was to check if it updated here as it's the same in the DISCOVERY+ app -- only goes to season 9 in 2020. Update the shows & I'll give 5 stars
I'm having the same issue as some other people. I get a web page error when selecting my TV provider, xfinity, so I never get a chance to login. I love food network go so I wanted to see what shows were available on this app but I guess I'll never get to see.
Awesome app, but is there a way where the commercial volume wasn't offensively and jarringly loud and could be the same volume as the shows, y'know, like how it is on The Food Network app and the HGTV app? Also, I know some commercials have to be blocked out, but is it possible to fill that void with something else other than having to sit through long periods of deafening silence? Thanks guys. Too many ads and they're all the same, I have them memorized now. App also crashes frequently and too many locked videos. Release them after a week! I can't watch due to my service provider.
I downloaded the app and when I click on link tv provider, nothing happens
Was great until anout two weeks ago - suddenly all the Scripps Networks apps stopped working (Cooking Channel, Food Network, HGTV). The app shows the logo/splash screen but then just sits there until an error message appears. Boooooo
Will not play live TV. Has the option, but keeps coming up with Error. No explanation or troubleshooting. Don't waste your time with this app.
Can't log in to the app with my TV provider .. nothing but errors like everyone else. They also don't respond to support emails as I've sent four in a month and heard NOTHING back at all. Now six emails - no resppnse.
Excellent Show! This one show should be featured not only on the cooking channel, but on food network as well!!! Please, please consider it instead of so many challene shows!
Horrible app doesn't work. I try and link my tv provider. Says everything is accepted. Hit the okay button and the app already forgot my log in. Can't watch anything. Dont installed this app
Wasn't able to create account without having an official TV provider. Whole reason for downloading app was to watch without having to have cable.
Way too loud on advertizing 10 db to be accurate. Im streaming to samsung s7 with blu tooth speaker. Adds wake me up when i watching in bed. Otherwise its good.
I think it's a good app but if you don't sign up then you have to scroll down to find a episode of your show but besides that it's a good app
Can't link to TV Provider. The app does not list TV Providers when I try and sign in with DirecTV.
I have problems with this app. I am unable to close it and end up having to restart my phone to get rid of the app
Can't log in I tried setting up an account by signing in with my Facebook but it just keeps crashing.
I've been watching this app for weeks and all of a sudden everything is locked! really? what's that about? 😡 do I'm back on the app and it's back to normal.. if it stays this way I will change my review😉
All the cooking shows in on place that love to watch. Best app if you love cooking wonnderful job thanks so much.
All I wanted to do was watch Good eats reloaded but I can't even do that after signing in Update: I am able to log into the provider and watch good eats, thanks
love it when it works, hate that I have to keep signing in... gets old please fix, makes me want to DELETE APP...
All the shows you love and some you may have missed...great selection excellent streaming
when used on my Samsung smart TV, doesn't work- same problems as the food network go app- freezes not only the app, but also the TV itself. when used on my cell, (Samsung galaxy s10), works fine.
