I just bought 4 of these for gifts. I got the first one today and no bluetooth. They either used a faulty bluetooth controller or an outdated one. It really should have wifi and bluetooth capabilities since it costs as much as 2 kindle fires.
the robot was cool, but the fact that i had to go out of my way to find my old phone just so i could connect to the robot ruins the fun. Ubi should've put a warning saying "HEY LOSER, That phone you have with Android 7.0+? you cant use it. get out your old phone from 2014 with android 6.0 nerd" Ruined the experience so dont buy the robot if you dont have an old phone lying around you could use as a controller.
I bought Wrench Jr on Ubi's clearance sale and the app doesn't even operate on today's newer phones. I can't even return Wrench Jr.
Not functional with current devices...
You obvi have to have the wrench bot for this but it works very well!

The device doesn't show up under search results when I run the app. I've tried three different phones, four different sets of batteries and I exchanged my first bot for a second one since I thought that it may have been defective. I've also tried pairing the bot with my device via Bluetooth settings. No dice. Not sure if it's an issue with the bots themselves or with the software but I'm not particularly happy.
Got the device a month ago. I have managed to connect to the device once. No matter what device I use it will not connect since then (there has been no damage to the device). I've asked others to download the app on their phones to try and the app isn't available in our country (on the App store) (we are in Canada?). Hope it is somehow fixed, as I'm unsure whether or not it's the device or the app, either way I am disappointed in this purchase. Would not recommend buying the overpriced robot, but unfortunately, most people don't realize the app doesn't work consistently until after they have spent 90 bucks on the thing.
Develop Plus Inc., can you take into thought about adding sideway controls, more phrases, and more emotions to make this app and the robot even more fun. I personally would like to see these requests be made, and I'm sure others would like it too. If you can, that would be great.
No support for iOS because its not available in the USA, plus the android verison of the app doesnt even work, it cant even connect to the robot. Overpriced piece of junk. This robot should have came with a regular remote not involving it to be connected to a phone.
When it does connect, the movement controls don't work at all. The voice plays but that's it. Bought the robot on sale during Black Friday so I didn't pay full price, but it's basically a paper weight now.

App will not see the robot and niether does my phone. Ive waited since christmas to receive my robot and now i cant use it because it wont connect at all.
I don't know if it's the robot or the app, but it'll just stop working for no real reason at times. It looks like its losing bluetooth connection and given time or reconnecting fixes it, until it does it again. I really hope it's the app not the robot and that they fix it. But until then, this is a decent toy that's really worth about 20 dollars, and the app works okay.
This sucker takes six AA batteries and you can attach alternate dedsec parts. I love the duel control layout and can move the robot around. You cannot store messages in the robot nor do you get to see through a camera on your phone, so no going around corners to talk to people using the robot and seeing their reaction remotely. Three seconds to record voice and five seconds to transmit. Moves in six directions. It's not as advanced as I was hoping but it is a toy, Ubisoft is better at making games 😎
The bot just blinks red and my device will say it can't connect. Frustrating.

I hope it lives up to the hype, as I have high hopes! I was very happy to 100% the original Watch Dogs when it came out. Cheers guys!
Have not been able to get it to work.
Maybe it's the bot. Maybe it's the app, but it constantly disconnects. Also why does the face barely show!?
Great but I can't move it
Okay, here's the deal with this app. It works with older android type versions (I tested all of my members phone to see which will work) and iPhones. Newer android phones will not because of some software thing that they no longer have but iPhones still does. Hope this helps.
