Watch NRL

The app has updated and now has a fast forward but it is not available on TV. You need to screencast it to watch on a TV which can be problematic as it glitches a lot. Sometimes you need to start the app, restart it a few times for the feature to activate. This app would be miles better if it could be downloaded direct to the TV, like the BT sport and NFL app.

A reliable way to watch the NRL in Alaska. I love it. Not only is the app great, the support is 2nd to none. On the restart this year I went to start the game, had family ready to watch but it kept giving me an error. Disappointed I was resigned to the fact I was going to miss the game. I sent an email to support. I had a reply with a fix in a minute. One Suggestion - when you click a team on the ladder it shows their match history - For when you want to compare your team to opponents.

Pro: The stream quality is high. Cons: The usability of this service is very low, especially for the incredibly high price (it really makes you feel like you back home in Australia). There needs to be an app on all platforms including Roku. I'm also very disappointed with the spoiling of results by the online interface. During the finals if you open the app after the last game of the round had been played, even if that is midnight your time, the match guide will default to the next week.

Much better than any other overseas nrl watching experience. The resolution is much better than the older subscription sites and it doesn't ever buffer. Download option is good to, so I can watch when I have no WiFi. Chromecast feature is great. Bit pricey though. Would give 5 stars if it were cheaper and had an easier way to rewind or f fwd 10 seconds.

I'd like to see the 20 minute highlights up a lot quicker. The cuts are useful when we have early morning kick offs here in UK to catch up. But what is an overnight turnaround for you there is a whole day before it appears here. A match that finished at 10.30am still isn't available as highlights at 8pm.

Usually works well. Would like for the ability to skip 15 seconds forward or back to be added to live broadcasts (the same as it already is on the desktop version). In the app, the skip forward and back buttons are currently available only for completed broadcasts.

Got it now working on my smart TV browser. Had to disable pop up blocker, disable an automatic java option thing (, both on TV Web browser settings) and then move to fibre broadband but now works fine. I wish they'd allow UK fans the option of watching the whole broadcast (the build up and after show), I watch 'as live' the games late morning here and it'd be nice to get the full experience and analysis or have the option for it (would be 5 star otherwise)

Incredible app 100% 5 stars The only thing that could be improved in the ability to sideload this particular app but it's not a massive issue nothing that cant be over come. I believe the priceing for the content within the app no matter what subscription you tuse is value for money I would say the priceing is spot on for the content you get accses to at this time.

This was running fine last season and this season till the last update in April. Now when played on my android boxes with amlogic s812 and s912 chips it frequently stops with an unknown player error - this never happened before. I tried on different ISP - same issue. The lines are both fiber - 1 is 500/500 the other 200/100 so it is not line speed. That said It does seem to play ok on my other boxes with rockchip RK3399 cpus. Please resolve this apparent issue with the amlogic chips ASAP . It is not a cheap paid for service and this has to work on any box with no stops.

Great to see all the games live and also have the replays handy at any time. I have had problems with buffering and twice I was unable to watch some of a game because it said "this service is currently unavailable". But, for watching NRL outside of Australia this is still the best App you can get.

Unwatchable and burry video. The streams are 10x lower quality than what they are broadcast in, then the stream is at low speed one further reducing the video quality. Faces are often burry blobs, major distracting video artifacts around the action. I want to watch the nrl but not with the current poor video quality. Shame there are no other better options.needs 1080p video support to make the games watchable.

Unfortunately they continue to bill irrespective of if there are games. The service did not not let me order 1 month of service only but required recurring billing. There appeared to be no notification of the recurring billing. Beware of supplying your credit card details as they do not respond to messages. I have still not received a response after contacting them three times over a month.

GREAT APP. I CAN FINALLY WATCH THE NRL IN THE UK. It's great to have access to the rest of the shows too such as the Matty Johns show. The historic games and previous years matches. Only fault issue is that I hope they make a TV app and improve the quality- could a full HD or 4K stream be possible??

Quite expensive for a yearly pass. Also no lead up or post match interviews etc games finish at the whistle and thats it. Definately could be better and would love to see pre and post match as hard to find that elsewhere.

The app is fine and works with Google Chromecast seamlessly, but is a back or forward button too much to ask? So frustrating when watching a 90+ minute game trying to go back just 30 seconds to rematch something.

Unbelievable that the app still cannot pause or remember where to resume properly using chromesast - something other apps seem to have no problem with. You go to the app to pause it and the only option available is to restart the game!

Had this app now for around four year's. Awesome to be able to watch all games plus a host of shows live or on demand in Europe. Only concerns now is the Chrome cast facility doesn't seem to be working. Sort this out and you go back to 5 stars. Price...anyone complaining must be crazy.

Noth8ng is beeing done to fix bugs when the strim is just stops at any moment with mistake on the screen. Cannot have full screen while starting the app. Have to do it few times to have it fixed!

Very good value to get all games plus some quality shows for only $149. The app works well except for taking a minute or more just to load! I get Watch AFL too, and it takes 5 seconds or so to load. I also wish this was available on Android TV.

watch out! this company is more like an internet scam. paid for one season, didn't realise i was on a subscription, they took the money for the next season and even though i cancelled on the day they took the money, on the first day of a 365 day subscription, they refused to refund me. unbelievable!

For how much this costs, the quality is really disappointing. When streamed to chromecast with 300mb down broadband its incredibly choppy. If you are going to charge premium prices, I'd expect a premium quality picture. This ain't it.

The iPad version allows me to stream to a Google chrome cast. Why doesn't the android version allow me to do that? This is useless watching on a phone screen.

Its a really good app , Paid for the whole year , just wish watchnrl can increase the amount of devices we could use to stream the live games at the same time. 2 is not enough

Every few weeks it just says authentication error and nothing will play, rendering the app 100% pointless, and you have to uninstall then reinstall and re log in. Frustrating.

Just wanting to know why this app say it's fox sport Australia but when you get to the log in section it says something like not available for Australia, New Zealand, pacific Island? Remove app

Brilliant app! Has allowed me to stay up-to-date with all the footy while living in Vietnam (and travelling to other parts of Asia and to the UK). The missus wouldn't give it 5 stars but it has my approval!

Do not pay for subscription if using xaomi mi box s it is not compatible (screen is rotated 90 degrees wrong) and support will not respond to tickets raised pretty poor considering we pay so much money for a yearly membership that they can't even get an app that works for the largest operating system available

Dont buy this app... The app does not work well and there is virtually no support. I am still having problems with the app crashing every 5 minutes.. Emailed their support team and never heard anything back. DO NOT BUY THIS APP !!

Used to be decent...but for some stupid reason they edit the match game download so it is no longer the full game. Why in the world would u do that. Wont be renewing if they continue to not show the full game
