Watch VH1 TV

I use the app on my Roku on my TV. It's so buggy. Any time I rewind my show or try and fast forward even just 10 seconds, it triggers an ad. Except instead of just running the ad and getting back to the show, the ad will repeat over and over until you close the app. But when you close the app and reopen, you have to do it all over again because it doesn't keep your place in the show. Super frustrating.

I just got this on my Roku TV, I would have given this a higher rating if it weren't for the fact that... 1. Whenever I rewind or fast forward I am left to watch a full block of ads every damn time. 2. Whenever I rewind or fast forward it doesn't continue where I want it to be, it's a HUGE play back. I don't like how I have no control over the function of the show/s I am watching, it makes the experience more irritating than entertaining.

I wouldn't mind occasionally watching ads since it's similar to watching TV, but I keep losing connection or having the video skip to the end of the episode. When I try to rewind to when I was, I'm forced to sit through another series of ads. I would expect this from scam apps, not something professionally made.

App is trash!! It buffers, freezes, and skips content every few seconds. So you miss most of what's said and it lags afterwards which has gotten worse recently.

Had to watch 8 minutes of ads while fast-forwarding to where I left off. This thing is all ads. I had to rewind to get audio to sync, and it made me rewatch 7 ads after I'd just watched them. Also, for some reason the devs made it so shows aren't in order because of how the app understands numbers, so you will get TV shows skipping around and giving spoilers because of it. Seems quite basic, how do you release an app that's this incompetent when you know these ceo's have the money to do so?

You can technically watch shows, but it doesn't save your spot, and any jump in playback triggers more ads. Terrible

Buffer too much. No it's no my wifi or phone service. I have full signal bars and the app buffers entirley too much.

The amount of ads with this app is astronomical! If you want to watch a show that is normally 48 minutes long it's going to take just under 2 HOURS to watch because you will be pummeled with ads that buffer CONTINUESLY!! A "29 second" ad took 2 min. & 14 seconds! I DO NOT recommend unless you really want to see something. I can't help but wonder if the companies that spend probably millions on advertising with VH-1 know just how POORLY they are being represented!

It's not great... and neither are the TV apps, either. I'm very disappointed. I love the shows, but I expect better from a major brand like this.

They removed the option to watch live tv. Also after some commercials it wont reconnect to the show.

This app has serious playback issues. If you stop a show in the middle and want to go back to it, the entire episode will not load. Ive had to skip several episodes because the vids won't load

I just installed this app minutes ago. Now seconds later I'm uninstalling it. My god you have every cable network EXCEPT Xfinity, why is that?! Thanks for excluding millions of people from enjoying your services. You have cable companies like Citizens and other obscure ones. I mean you have Verizon, but not the other HUGE United States cable company? Poor over site on your end. Good luck on this, I'll check back maybe in a month or so. Will this happen for Paramount+? Better fix this!

The single worst streaming app on the market. If they didn't have certain seasons of Drag Race unavailable everywhere else, I would never bother keeping it installed on my phone and TV. First of all, the number of commercials are just insane. Why not offer a pay-for version with no ads? It seems that frequently the ads are what cause the shows to glitch. Either at the beginning of the shows or, worse, in the MIDDLE of the program, I'll get error messages of "video unavailable". The worst! 😡🤬😭

App is GARBAGE. Constantly freezes while casting to TV, screen goes black for no reason and the endless ads are ridiculous. Not worth the trouble to use this stupid app. If I miss an episode of a show, it's easier and less of a pain to DVR from a rerun. I've used lots of network apps and VH1 app is the most worthless of them all. I've never had so much trouble before. VH1 should know how to develop and maintain an app that isn't a pos. I'd give this ZERO stars if it were possible.

Fix. Your. App. It is still very slow, has a "challenging" layout, and is very buggy. Cannot tell you how many times I have had to restart the app because it plays the wrong episode. I have had to reset the app because it won't log in properly. It will continue to play shows in my pocket randomly until I force close the app. Come on.

The only reason I'm rating this a 2 instead of 5, is because it gets annoying having to watch ads every time I put my phone down for a hot second and come back to the app to watch more ads before they start back playin the show! Very frustrating and makes me not even want to use the app because of all the unnecessary ads that you have to watch when you exit the app. I dont understand how it doesn't freeze up when playing ads, but when the show is supposed to play it freezes up!

good luck trying to get this to work on chromecast. Not only does the app constantly play ads that are louder than the show, but the shows look horrible on the screen. It's a pixelated mess and it never fixes itself, and you only watch about a minute or two before it just stops casting for no reason. VH1 really needs to fix these issues, I'm so disappointed.

I guess it's okay. But the same ad will keep on showing up. It gets pretty annoying. While signing up, it asked for the birth date and the print when you select the dates are very hard to see. The print was like a light grey. I wanted to watch full episodes of love & hip hop: New York and Miami. But all there were was clips that last only 3 minutes max. I don't know if the app uploaded the episodes yet. But, you van find tje exact same thing on YouTube. I honestly don't want to waste $23 or 19.

I have this app because I want to watch RuPaul's drag race. I'm probably just going to watch it on Hulu going forward. This app is terrible for streaming. The number of ads is ridiculous. It frequently shows about 60 seconds of the episode before cutting back to the same set of five ads. I have a terrible time getting it to cast to my television using Chromecast. I have had to close down the app and re-open it at least twice to get through one episode of the show I'm trying to watch. Infuriating

I find this app to be very hit or miss. It is constantly freezing during commercials or shows and requires me to close and restart the application. I commonly find that once an episode of Drag Race is available it will not allow me to watch it until 3 days after the episode is posted in the app. I consistently receive error messages that the video is no available or has been deleted. A very frustrating app to use.

Despite being in strong wifi connection or even just utilizing my data, this app is terrible to watch anything. Some days it works smoothly, others I spend 4 hours to watch a single episode. It randomly stops playing, which results in a toss up between restarting the episode or continuing from where it stopped itself. It also doesnt prevent my screen saver from timing out half the time so i have to keep tapping the screen or it will go black.

this is the worst. It works only sometimes. most of the time, it stops and says internet is too slow, but then starts again on it's own or it starts back at the beginning. it has even stopped and told me no longer available in the middle of watching. but then plays from the beginning. it has stopped and told me I am not authorized. And here is the real kicker for me, it does the same thing while watching from my cable box at home on ANY show labeled "on demand". Not even on the app.

Videos not playing. Randomly, an episode will say unavailable when it is clearly available to watch. I've closed and reopened the app and the episode still will not play. All the other episodes will play except one. And if you pause a video in the app and later return to it, the video will say unavailable and you have to restart the app again. Very unreliable app, bad coding.

Worst streaming app I've ever downloaded. So buggy. Never works right consistently. Have to force stop it and restart it several times. I thought it might just be me, but coming here and seeing the other reviews there are tons of people complaining about the same thing. The response says to contact help, but I think you have enough feedback here to show that a major redevelopment is much needed.

Sooo... this is trash. I just got this app today and I've been trying to watch 1 episode all day. It just randomly stops, I close the app and restart, still refuses to play. Leave the episode, and return, plays endless ads, then stops right as it's getting back to the episode. Try it on data still won't play the episode. I'm done. Fix your app, because this is nonsense. Hours tryiing to watch a 40 minute video. That's crazy

This is the WORST TV app EVER! No matter what platform, it always has the same issues. Constantly asking me sign in, screens that day they'll be right back and come back halfway through a segment of your shows. Every day I have to clear my history and cache just not have to reenter my password. That's for this app my firestick, apple TV. I'm tired of this and will be dropping this channel from my line up. It's just not worth the headache.
