I very much like some of the faces but even after purchasing premium it's paid watched everywhere and absolutely no option to sort by premium faces only. I can only checkout a handful easily viewing top rated otherwise most everything I like is more money. Message to developer: Add better sorting options. This is stupid that it's not already an option. Very very stupid. Lastly, an option to favorite faces. I've lost a few I can't find because every single face I look at not just send to the watch is shown under my watches. I will 5 star with these options when I can see where these 40,000 faces are. I want to hide the double premium watches from sight it's irritating.
Mega annoyed as I'd already paid for companion but there's another one at £2.49! I paid this amount before but can't use the rounded edge rectangle and when I messaged, they said have you got this version of companion and when I tapped it, it's wanting yet ANOTHER £2.49 for something that I've paid for in a slightly different version. I'm not going to keep on paying for this just to have the use of rounded rectangles! I used to love this app but I'm beginning to think it's ripping people off
Beautiful and/or watch faces! There are lots of neat ones to select from, and making your own seems reasonable to do - if I had any artistic ability at all anyway. It's neat but really too buggy to use in a practical way, causes freezes, watch won't wake up, sometimes just shows a black screen etc.
On the surface it looks good but... 1) you don't get all faces with premium, you have to subscribe additionally for that 2) this app only unlocks the content on your phone, it is another £2.99 (Price in Samsung store) to get the watch companion app to make it appear on your device which is just throwing more money at it! Seems like a lot of money for a watch face. I'll stick with the free Facer stuff.
Love the concept and I made a really cool watch face with it. However, if you have a Samsung Galaxy watch, it does not connect to Samsung Health and the application functionality is extremely inaccurate. This includes Steps, Heart Rate, Weather and distance. I spent the money on the Premium application and the Samsung Companion application. You don't find out until you have a bunch of time invested that it is not going to work. Please don't respond with the forum websites, been there, done that and it still doesn't work. Resetting the watch and the phone only to get erroneous information does not seem very efficient to me.
Really love the customization options, however, when I have a watch maker face on, it makes my watch freeze 5 or more times a day. Very frustrating to look down, note the time, then realize it's 5 minutes later than what it said. Then I try to tap to wake it and it doesn't respond for a few minutes. Sometimes I'll look down and see that half of my watch screen looks like Static on a TV thats on a channel that doesn't work. I thought it was my tic watch and I considered returning the watch but after using a default watch app for a while, I noticed that I wasn't having any issues. So I tested it out. One day with default face, perfect, no issues. One day with watch maker face, constant freezing and glitching. I absolutely love the full range of custom options, but after figuring out my watch problems were actually watch maker problems, I dropped my review to 3 stars. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, because I already miss my custom faces.
Terrible. You pay the 7.99 then the 2.99 on samsung then qnother 6.99 a month if you want ALL THE FEATURES! On top of that, the customize options are not great and dont offer a lot of choices. I downloaded a premade watch face and on my watch the time didnt change it was frozen. Also the UI is NOT very easy to navigate. Save yourself the money and stick with samsungs faces because at least there you don't have to pay and pay and pay monthly. Its ridiculous.
Interesting concept. Buy an app on the phone, then pay more for an app on the watch. Yes, together they provide a plethora of watch faces. Plus unwanted ads every time you wake up your phone. I can accept adds on the free version, but not the paid. Get rid of the ads or refund the $11.98. Maybe then I will review the product itself, including the "Get Free Watch faces" button that takes you to an untranslated Chinese website...
Barely anything functions properly on the Gear S3, the gyro features don't work, the step counter gets stuck behind and the weather info providers display different weather than those provided by Samsung's default app. Then there is the app's poorly designed user interface and the lackluster selection of "premium" faces which are really just faces that should have been in the free version. The actual premium faces worth anything, are locked behind more paywalls.
I used to like having this app. It used to work fine. Then I got a new phone and had to pay for it again for some reason. I assumed when I bought it with my Google play it would stay. Anyway, now everytime the bluetooth disconnects it removes the watch face from my watch and I have to go back in and reset it. Really annoying.
This is somewhat a good app if you want to customize your own watch faces and stuff. However I'm running into the issue of whenever I customize my watch faces the background image on my watch always comes out blurry and pixelated even if I'm using the appropriate resolution. The preview on my phone always comes out crystal clear but when it's transferred to my watch the background image becomes distorted. Again good app for customization but I wish for them to fix the issue with background image
You pay for a watch store that sells faces. They aren't upfront on the price. you have to pay on the watch app and then for the premium in here. sure now you can get lots of premium faces, but good luck with that, interface is design to promote the ones you have to additionally pay for. only way to see exclusively the premium ones is by top 100. i see other replys saying used the search option, well there isn't a filter to see the premiums ones. And the main menu (home screen) is 98% paid faces.
This is such a frustrating app. It has great promise but it just doesn't work. The watch constantly disconnects from the app, the weather doesn't update like it's supposed to do, but worst of all, the developer simply can't ever be bothered to respond to emails. My recommendation is not to purchase until the developer can show they give a cr@p about helping customers.
I had a problem with my smart watch and it took some time to get a replacement. Several months later when I got my new watch and went to use some of the faces I purchased from Watchmaker. I logged on to find that everything I purchased was gone. No explanation from Watchface as to why. Lousy experience - don't get ripped off, use another app.
Paid for premium, was expecting to see the premium faces easily available on the phone app but they appear scattered around all the other faces they want you to purchase. Many of the faces don't run on my ticwatch pro running wear os 2.10, they are slow to load and sometimes don't load at all, this app has definitely slowed down overall performance of my watch. not very impressed at all and for £5.99 not worth it - uninstalling now
More and more useless. No matter what you search for all it does is push the packs down your throat. I have not had a successful search since reinstall of this app. I used to be able to search for a particular name and get just faces. Now it's like I didn't search for anything. I'm going to work with it more right now. Blah blah blah, I was going to reload this yes reload but!! For some reason I have to pay the add on for watch again.
I love the app, I would have given it 5 stars if I could design watch hands on premium. Being able to make watch faces without the option of watch hands, is a bummer since it requires third party or software import. If they bring that option in the next update, I will change my rating.
Seems to be a bit of a rip-off. Pay for premium and you're then inundated with ads pushing VIP. Most of the really good faces aren't Premium, so you have to pay and/or upgrade. By the time I figured this out it was too late to request a refund.
Misleading and deceptive. Nothing short of that. Purchased the premium version and all you get is 60,000 more watch faces but you have to pay for them. Is this a joke? I haven't downloaded even one and I will immediately seek a refund and complain to Google. This is like highway robbery. Good luck trying to navigate the app. Overall, a terrible experience.
While adding the hour/minute/second hand a lot of the hands in the "gallery" will not be shown, then once you pick one the app will hang. Editing watchffaces in the app got worse and worser over the last few updates. I paid for the unlimited access and the app is till the one I prefer among the others but there was no real improvement over a long time now.
This is a license key but in the app it says that I can uninstall it after transferring the settings and purchases if I want but you actually can't because then the main app will lose the premium status at least it was like that in my case on a note 20 ultra. Premium itself while giving a good number of watches you have to sift through a lot of paid ones to find a good Premium one. Everything is being made into a purchase basically and now for certain watches you have to pay for the companion ap
I think this app is trash. I saw a review on YouTube and thought I would enjoy it and get more by paying for the app. The premium version doesn't feel premium very low quality watch faces experience. I'm upset I paid for this app. I'm using Facer on a daily basis and the resolution is better and I'm not paying for it. They have options for 24hrs and also have daily watch faces up to 5 at your disposal to just try out from the watch but you can still change more in the app. I'm disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. If I could get a refund I would. Also I'm rocking the Galaxy watch 46mm.
Great app for making your own watch faces, and has lots of pre-made choices available. The only issue I have run into is that the weather info does not update reliably. Even setting a tap action to update it does not cause an actual update, it just changes the "last updated" time.
-10000 stars. all ads NOT removed when upgrade to premium. keep getting $#+&$ ads as notifications. a notification that is an ad is still an ad regardless the delivery mechanism. the 'transfer license' garbage is just that - garbage. it got WORSE when i did this, and caused additional ads in the app, including 'upgrade to premium' ads and a 'watch this ad while we send your watchface'! get rid of the _$-#-#&$& ads!!!!
I saw a lot of reviews saying its difficult to navigate and find premium watch faces despite purchasing the premium version. But I didn't trust them enough, so I purchased it. Then I realized it was true. Its really hard to search for premium watch faces with the developer emphasizing solely paid watch faces on their home screen. Uninstalled and refund sought. But lost my money on the Samsung store though.
I have finally given up on Watchmaker. Time freezes still on my Galaxy 4 in AOD mode. The developers don't gice a shyte about their customers. No replies to emails etc. I've moved to Facer and recreated my WM faces in no time.
Ads still appear even after buying. They show up as ads in the app and also as notifications, which is still an ad in my opinion. Also, a large number of watches are not covered in the premium purchase but rather $1.99 each. Definitely a money grab.
Downloaded app for TicWatch Pro. Not sure what the issue is, but the watchface is freezing and slowing down the processing of the watch. This app was something I was looking for using, but it seems not be working as expected. I tried to get a refund after 5 minutes of purchasing, but option was not available. I paid $7.99 + $1.75 for both apps and turns out to be unusable. I'm hoping that there is a resolution to my problem.
