So you got that waterproofed phone that everyone is taking about. You are eager to take it for a swim and get some underwater shots. The only question is: are you sure that you closed that flaps firmly? Is the phone really waterproofed as they say? Is there any solution test this?
WaterProof can help you test if your phone is watertight. By applying simple physics and pressure sensor readings we determine if air can get out of your phone. If the test is positive it means that the phone is not watertight and you should not keep it close to water hazards. If the test is negative however then you have a good chance to have a good functional phone after you get out of the water.
We'd like to get as much insight as possible. If you'd like any features just write a comment or send an email and we'll see if it's feasible for an implementation.

I don't understand this, I ran 4 times tests, the app says it does not water resistant twice, but then it says water resistant also twice. I havent bring my z5 compact into the water yet, but it makes me doubt that this phone is watertight, however, the pressure tests climb for about 5 milibar.
It Says My Samsung Galaxy S8+ (Samsung Exynos Octa 8895) Wasn't Waterproof Even When It Is Somehow So Please Fix It And I Already Try It On Water But Still Its Saying "Bad News" I Hope You Can Fix It Cause I Checked The Sim Tray Water Box And Its Still White Not Red
It works in my s21, i think the pressure is higher then my old s10

Use less app my phone is ip68 water and dust resistant and its showing its not waterproof
First of all I just bought Samsung s21 and it is waterproof. I don't know why it said my phone is not waterproof

My Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 is water ressist. I have used it in the pool so many times. I try this app but it said my device was not watertight.
I have a Sony Xperia z5 and like they said on the box it is waterproof.. The app also said the same.. I tested the app by opening my flap a bit and the app told me that my phone is no longer waterproof.. That means the app works correct using the pressure sensors
They said my phone wasn't waterproof but I have a5 2017 so I put my phone under water and it was waterproof don't trust this app my phone has ip68
Works Perfectly, i tried to open my sim card flap a bit and the app said your phone is no longer waterproof.. And when i close the sim card flap its says your phone is waterproof.. I've tried it many times..Best Apps 2016..
Garbage app used for 2 Samsung phones ,s20 Ultra and s10 both shows not waterproof .
Working as intended. Before switching to a new phone, I broke my Xperia Z3+'s LCD and had it replaced then tried this app again. The result is as expected that it is no longer waterproof.

Im using z5,and already use my phone under water many time it still good but this app said my phone not watertight?
Tested on S4 active with charging flap opened and closed. Works great

În order to work properly on SGS7 you need to press very hard on the screen.

From what I understand, this app is intended for old water-resistant devices with flaps covering the ports, like old Xperias, which also makes air more difficult to come out thus, making the air pressure measurable. With newer devices, manufacturers have switched to rubbers rings around the ports, which doesn't let water in, but lets more air out than the flaps. This is only my theory though. This app works on my Xperia XZ, but not working on my V40.
