has more features than the factory app. would like to have you add unpause/resume charging and I would never have to open the official app - thank you for the response/update and direction in the app ---- absolutely Brilliant !! ~~Follow/Update - my charging screen only has either «pause charging» or «not charging» I am running the following on my MY20; J8A2-70712-AV (16.2) TCU software ver J7A3-70713-BV. TCU config ver. Fully funtional since last update, may have just been an android glitch.
Fantastic App for I-Pace. The philosophy here is to provide the user with solid info about their car, including battery health! It also works very well. These characteristics are in stark contrast with the stylish but ultimately frustrating app which is the JLR official offering! Wattcat is all the more impressive because it's author has been obliged to reverse engineer technical detail to bring us the result. The summary of JLR s/w and h/w upgrade info is really helpful. Information is power!
Use it on a landrover defender as there is no guardian mode on the android version of the JLR app, works a treat be nice if you could do an option to change the car graphics I appreciate you didn't make the app for this but such a great app with more information many thanks
This is a brilliant example of how an app should be produced and it's free! It's always improving and the developer is very responsive to the comments and needs of I-Pace owners. If you have an I-Pace its really worth changing to an android phone just to be able to use this app. If I could give it 7 stars I would! I find the display of tyre pressures and charge state on the front page very helpful and it can send you a message if you have forgotten to lock your car. It provides greater control over charging than any other method and is the only I-Pace app to include a "Camper mode" which allows you to set a temperature inside the car when it is not being driven. That's very useful if you need to leave a pet or passenger in the car in hot or cold weather. I olny have one minor gripe; the excellent system for setting departure times so that the car is pre-conditioned before you get into it has a tiny "OK" button which is not obvious and easy to miss when setting up. If you forget and just hit "SUBMIT" you have to start again. It could be solved by giving OK a red background. As you can see, if this is the worst aspect of the app the rest must be excellent!
Whoever designed this app is a genius! I just purchased my I-Pace and I love how useful this app is over the native app. Some future suggestions: Make the lock/unlock door button larger and on top of the glass roof. Open front trunk and rear trunk buttons over their respective areas and maybe add an open and close window button on left and right side of the i-pace vehicle image.
This is a better way to contact and control the Jaguar I-Pace than the Factory supplied apps, it provides more control and better response times
The app is in general briliant. A big round of applause to the developer, especially for adding in the login portal for the Chinese incontrol server. Though since the last version, the login to the Chinese server no longer works. Would be a great help if developer could look into it. Much appreciations!
Wonderful and thank you for doing this. Everything that is needed, beautiful interface and easy to use, as in top notch design and ux worthy the car. Makes you puzzled why JLR can't manage, but happy they don't so you can support this excellent initiative.
Impressive app and super responsive developer. Thank you for contributing your time and deep skills on behalf of the iPace community. My fervent prayer is that you will be hired by Jaguar to design the next version of their terrible infotainment systems system. Fabulous car, frustrating user experience on all software. all the features I need eg notification that I've forgotten to lock the car and the ability to lock remotely, set charging times and pre conditioning schedules with an easy to use interface.
I am Very Happy with this App. I have been using that for a last several months. But, looks like something wrong with my Jaguar i-pace. for a last 10 day I have No connection with viecle. The App is not working. Can someone knows what can I do ?
I have dropped 1 star because the auxiliary battery charge state is no longer displayed, otherwise brilliant app. Restored to 5 stars for speedy response to admitted bug in latest update and promise to restore 12v auxiliary battery state of charge. It doesn't come any better than this.
Using this for my diesel E-Pace. Miles ahead of the Jaguar Remote app. Works every time, user interface is far better and additional information is available which is not in the Jaguar effort.
Far superior to Jaguar's remote app. A perfect example of how just one smart individual can completely trump a team's effort.
Very comprehensive but am unable to change Units from metric to miles etc. "Units" setting does not respond. Oops. My bad. I just figured it out. Duh!
Much better than the Jaguar original. With this app I also found out that my brand new I-pace show a battery health of 59%. If this is a correct figure I really got a bad battery.
I'm an iPhone user so I installed BlueStacks on my computer specifically so I could run this app. More than worth it. The extra detail and control offered by this app is a huge improvement over the JLR apps. Many thanks to the developer for a very welcome contribution to the I Pace community.
excellent app, car status is always up to date, layout is clear. I almost never use Jaguar's own app.
Latest update means tyre pressures are not shown any more. Edit: reviewed back to 5 stars based on reply below, because apart from this blip, this is an excellent app.
Great. Much better and faster than the standard JLR app. Also nice that it displays tyre pressures in real time.
After many months of delightful use of this great app its now locked me out with ' invalid credentials ' Not sure why but my disappointment at not being able to access it speaks to how useful its been !

Found this on ipace forum and have to admit it's a fantastic app. Much better than jaguar remote. Using it on a My21 HSE.
I use this app all the time. It is great. The only thing I want in an update is better support for dark-mode operation. Fonts for setting departures and other things are hard to see when the menus pop up.
