WAVE 3 Louisville Weather

This was a great app then they changed it and now it doesn't work half the time. It never gives me warnings and it can't follow me. I have checked it has notifications turned on it has all the permissions it just don't work anymore. And it's not just this one device I have it installed on four and they all stopped working.

I watch it,all the time. We have no tv, because the price was to high. So we watch WAVE 3 on our phones. Thank you for your radar.

I had the weather app downloaded in case any hazardous weather was to go thru Louisville Kentucky and when it did on 17 MAR 2022 and I heard the tornado sirens going off in Shively where I live, so I opened up the app to check out what was going on. I don't know what was going on with the weather, but I did learn that Coyle Chevrolet was having a big sale. I would think during hazardous weather, when seconds may count, maybe, just maybe suspend the ads, temporarily?

Seems to hang a few times a week and I just have a blank Grey screen. Maybe it's my phone but usually reloads if I close and reopen the app.

Methodologically antiquated. Why offer trivial information like the temperature in lieu of more pragmatic information like "feels like?" also this app deserves a higher score but there is no feedback option in the app itself so a mediocre score might not get the attention I need to effect change. The truth is that it's a well organized, professional, mostly useful app that I'd much rather give a higher score to but some of the basics are not there and create a bigger net problem.

I love the Wave 3 weather team! They do an amazing job at keeping us informed. Storms can be very intimidating but I know they have our back with the soonest possible information. I will NEVER use another app or weather station! Thank you all for having our backs in otherwise terrifying situations.

No longer works! This been my favorite weather app. Great to see hourly as well as daily forecasts. But I can no longer scroll down or click on radar or forecasts. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the problem remains.

Best weather and traffic app ever! Thank you WAVE for putting all the pertinent information in one place. The only glitch is unable to drag icons to radar bar. Still very happy with it!

I seem to get a good description of the weather on a daily just by pushing a button in the sponge you'll wit's punctual and it gives me a good reading of what's going on every day so I'm enjoying that

Follow option doesn't work. Love the app otherwise, but that is a very important option!

I like the app overall but had to delete because of unwanted notification sounds. The app overrides the settings to turn off notifications and turns them back on in the app. I have changed daily with no luck of keeping them off. Even when you turn notifications off in phone settings and in app settings, it still sends notification sounds with nothing in notification bar.

The app is decent, but when you watch a video, one commercial should be enough. The repetition of the same ad each time you need to restart a video is annoying. UPDATE: now in addition to ads, you have to wait for an intro screen of music before he gives the weather. Pls make it more concise.

Always reliable, the Wave3 storm team is the best!! I take them everywhere I go, especially being in the lawn&landscape business.

I have mixed feeling on the WAVE 3 weather app! I like that the temperature is always kept updated in the status bar - that is very helpful! One problem I have encountered is sometimes I will not receive lightning, thunderstorms, or heavy rain warnings in my area! All my notification are turn on & I have it turn on to follow me! Once in a blue moon I may get a occasional warning but that's it! 🤔

I keep getting alerts or news but when I click on them I just get blank WAVE3 screen

Can always count on them when it comes to weather and same for news team, always loved WAVE 3!

The only thing I don't like is, if I change apps, and come right back, even less than 1 minute, the "Kevin Called It" loading screen comes up. I have to wait for it to load again. It does this every single time I leave and come back to the app, no matter how long I was gone. Even if I lock my phone, and open it right back up, less than 10 seconds.

Great for following radar and checking hourly conditions.

I have used this weather app for years and until the last update it was a 5-star app. But now I get notifications I don't need and can't seem to turn off. It's really annoying, and if it doesn't stop, I'll be looking for another weather app and local news TV outlet. Review update 8/23/2021: It's been a few months now since my original review. I have successfully stopped all the notifications that were annoying me and can again give this app a 5 star rating. Now if we only had Mo Rose.

Great App. Great people! No longer are we restricted to waiting till a certain time to find out what our weather might be or that we can just sit by a radio or tv and wait for it to come up. I am just too impatient to wait for that to happen!

There is a current winter storm warning. There is no notification at all of this except inside the app. All setting for alerts are enabled but default. Other than that, it's Louisville weather and works, I guess. How the app is built is odd, but at least the radar is functional.

Weather at Wave 3 needs to change from REPORTING to FORCASTING. With a major ice storm coming Wave 3 is scared to mention totals.....switched to Marc W. at WDRB weather.
