I purchased 2 different premium subscription packages and every thing I try to do requires the next package up....and then the next package up. Unless you are willing to pay over $10 A MONTH, this app is garbage. Also, crashes almost always and when it does I lose all unsaved editing. And to save a file takes at least 3 minutes. No lie.
The app takes some skill. But it allows me to scrutinize even the finest details of music. From trimming audio down to miliseconds, to adjusting the gain on even the most minute details. It's pretty underrated but the interface is quite my thing, too.
I thought it was gonna be good at first but I have to pay for basic effects such as reverb and echo, the process to import is also annoying. You have to pay for a different file type export which makes it incredibly difficult to convert audio or put it in different sites
Have used this app for months. Never had an issue with it. Since the update on it all it does it cut out half way through my editing. Have paid for it and everything and still can't get it to stay open more then a few minutes. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same thing. Very frustrating when you have vital work to do for law enforcement.
I've used Wavepad since I discovered it in 2008 when I was looking for an Automatic Gain Control feature. I adore the way AGC makes my music sound. I can also edit, and increase the length of songs with ease. Like any new skill, once you start learning and a little patience, you can master it in no time. But Wavepad makes it so easy to learn. I haven't used any other program in 14 years. It is the absolute best Audio Editor program in the world. Nothing else comes close. Thanks NCH! 😊
Works well, relatively simple to use and exports files well via FTP, which is what I need it for. If any improvements could be made, may I ask that it has the capability of remembering a number of different FTP profiles?
Ok, now that everyone is on the same page. I loved the app for what it did minus the upgrade. Upgrade spiralled out of control quick fast and in a hurry. I really want to thank Jessica T. for helping me solve this while the rest just blatantly dismissed my issues. I would gladly use it again if NCH and myself can figure out what caused the issue. Previous versions worked very well - the export options & effects are worth purchasing. Sadly the new UI version only seems to record for 2 minutes maximum :(
When I open the app, it can't show all the files, Only Music. But if I check the add option, I can get the voices I recorded. So When I want to transfer them for editing, the result is un-supported format. Why are all these happening?
Please fix the speed effects. I can hear an echo on the music after you change it. I thought that the effects are free to use like on the older version but its not. I am really disappointed.
Now i understand why this has a bad rating. You do realize that just being able to add a delete button would be a nice thought. Nevermind you've made my decision for me it just crashed. Uninstalling.
Always used this. Very good. Pinch zoom on the waveform is doable with 3 fingers btw; works horizontally and vertically.
Terrible UI. Making simple selections and cuts of audio are nearly impossible. What a waste.
It's a good app, but i wish there was away to place a marker on a certain part of the music. Trying to go back and forth with your finger is too tedious and it's easy to lose your place with a long waveform
I absolutely love this app. Plenty of options along with some very powerful noise reducing mechanics. 5 stars all around even hoping for a way to utilize the selectable spectral subtraction using a spectrogram like the pc. I know the functionality is obviously different but that would put the android version over the top.

I'm not the smartest at this, but I had a hard time operating this app. I'd choose a point to start or end, but it would seemingly change by itself. I never really understood the interface even after an hour or so of trying, got frustrated, & uninstalled it. I ended up with AudioLab, which I found easy to operate & does the things I needed. I'm no sound editor, so a free app I can understand is great for me.
Congratulations, your update made the app unusable. The interface was easy and functional before. Now it lags, doesn't scroll smoothly, and is no longer percise. The new colors are an eye sore, the editing tools are hard to locate, and it constantly crashes. I've used this app since 2016 instead of other programs but looks like I'll be using Audacity now. I'm glad I never bought the upgrade.
Can you guys please add the ability to pinch-zoom? Honestly the zooming is about the only negative i have with the app. The controls at the top are so awkward to zoom in properly. Just a simple pinch on the waveform is all you need. If you still want to use the waveform expanding (which is currently what you're using pinch for), just have the user tap and move their finger up/down on the screen. Almost all apps use pinch for zooming. Please add this! I've bought all ur features to support you
