Just downloaded the app yesterday for the first time and experiencing a lot of glitches. Scrolling through search results continuously would cause a lot of lag for the images to refresh. If the screen went dark while I was scrolling and I turned it back on, I'd be at the top of the page again. The checkout screen kept refreshing and I was worried about my card being charged twice times, but thankfully it wasn't.
I can always count on Wayfair to have what I'm looking for and a great variety to choose from. Sometimes I pay a little more than I would if I went out and purchased it from a box store, but the convenience is often worth it and I'm rarely disappointed with my purchase. Shipping is quick and the email/text communication in between is concise. I've only had to return items once and it was a fairly simple process.
PLEASE make it easier to unsave items from our Favorites lists!!! It's SO infuriating to keep trying to click on the " ... " just right to get the magical Delete message to pop-up. Trying to get it just right is nearly impossible, so hitting "..." opens the item profile over and over again!! Then finally it works. Most apps just let you click the Heart to unsave easily, like Etsy!!
Good app - easier to navigate than the website. Major downside is that it doesn't ask you what country you're in, nor does it tie to your last login, or even geolocate you. it just assumes you're in the USA. Me, being Canadian, logged in assuming it was all fine, and found some lovely new kitchen chairs only to be unable to order them (USA). After going to my settings in the app and changing to Canada, those chairs were not available. Frustrating! Otherwise, decent app.
This app could definitely do with more notifications, especially ones about things you have already purchased through the app. I mean why only have one kitchen sink when I could then get a notification about kitchen sinks every 6 hours of every day. Give it a rest! Some serious algorithm issues with your push notifications. Shame really as the sink is quite good. But I still only need ONE.
Their app makes you get a verification code to sign in EVERY time you want to add to your cart and/or checkout. It's extremely inconvenient and a hassle. I shop online with many vendors and this prevented me from ordering from Wayfair. The verification code would not come through my email or my text number. I had to set up a new email and password in order to checkout. This is why I give it only a 3. VERY poor app compared to Amazons or eBays. 😲😞😐
I don't like the scheme Wayfair uses. as ur scrolling through the list of items for example, you'll have a table listed for $103, then when you click on the item, the price changes to $189. and it's not like they say ($103 for open box). they just out right deceive and lie to you.
Love wayfair, but the app is annoying af. Every single time I want to go to my Lists, I'm forced to re-verify my identity via a text message with a code that needs entered into the app. This happens numerous times a day because I'm currently in the process of building a home, and it's just irritating and doesn't make sense. In the past week I've probably gotten at least 50 of these text messages from Wayfair, and it's just getting really f-ing old.
Got the app to use "view in room" feature, but it's impossible to find out side of the "create a room". Unfortunately, creating a room doesn't allow you to add the items from your cart or to search for items to add. You're presented with a generic list of items to add, non of which were the ones I actually cared for or wanted. Completely useless.
Love this app... I buy most furniture here.. There are times when the app glitches but it is not often enough to effect use. You can browse, place orders, and pay easily and they offer payment option and rewards. The furniture is good quality its a literal what you see is what you get. The only problem I've had was not receiving an item but they were quick to check things out and the issue was resolved fast.
Wide range but on two separate items, a sale/clearance price was shown, which then disappeared in the basket/checkout, with only the original/full price being shown. This is a a massive waste of people's time and comes across as at best: hapless and at worst: dishonest.
Not a very good start with Wayfair's checkout. I tried 6 times to enter my card expiry date and it failed on every attempt. In the end I paid for the item through PayPal. That's why I've given wayfair 2 stars. First impressions last.
Since update today, I wasn't automatically sent a code so had to use password. I tried basic function in app & whole phone screen went black & no function keys worked at all so it crashed my phone. After finally getting back on, it had automatically signed me out. Then I wasn't even trying to open the app & I was texted the exact same verification sign-in code again! What is going on? It was automatically prompting me to enter texted code & now it's not.
been trying to buy the same item since last night. gives me the option to use PayPal so I chose that. but everytime I click place order it would say something went wrong please try again or use different method. after finally switching to credit card. absolutely no issue. why give options to pay when only credit card works properly in the app?
Wayfair has been wonderful for me. My mom loves it cause she can speak to a live person if she has questions or just needs help with placing an order. Everything we have ordered has been delivered on time except for one item and it took a month but it was on back order. And we didn't know. Their customer service is outstanding!
Great app but has a few bugs. For some reason when I select an item to view the app freezes, but when I back out of the item and reselect, it lets me view it. Also would be better if there was a preview for ease of assembly. Aside from those I love shopping on Wayfair.
Easy, user-friendly purchase. Just be careful about any updates and changes. My first purchase the bed didn't fit my mattress because right in the middle of my purchase they ran out of queen sizes and offered a full. I wasn't paying attention and accepted. so that's what they sent.
Bull app. Sends you notifications saying item your looking at is on sale, when you click notification to go to item, it's at regular price, with zero mention of sale or discount mentioned in notification, and notification disappears. Clear bait and switch. I should screen shot and report to weights and means of the state. Stay clear of these bait and switchers.
Editing my previous review, thanks for responding and fixing this issue promptly. Wayfair app is wonderful! Old: Probably it needs some upgrades. I went to "My Orders" page and when I click back arrow, it is closing the app rather taking me to the previous page or home page.
Miserabley buggy app. Constantly freezes and crashes, and about half the pics don't load. Cleared cache, restarted phone, uninstalled & reinstalled app, made sure phone's up-to-date - nothing helps! Wayfair's grand, but putting up with this app is too frustrating to make shopping here worth it anymore - major bummer.

Edit: Very misleading app! Item shows open box availability with lower price but when you go to the item it is missing and you have no option to order open box. Why show lower prices when you aren't letting ppl order! Im unable to login to my app! Why! Also why do you need my biometric login? I dont keep it for any apps other than banks. Argh!
Tried to order twice using my clear pay account on the app the payment went out but the order did not go through so had to pay with my card instead and now need to wait for the refund to my account. If you don't support clear pay why bother advertising on their site!! Not great and contacting anyone was impossible.
Works well has lots of information and specifications which is needed as there is no showroom. Some specs for chairs aren't correct, that not the apps fault. 3D is extremely helpful. Sometimes prices from an email don't match to the app, customer service will honor the lower price.
I love Wayfair products, they're so good. however the app itself is problematic. The user journey is almost non-existent as the app is constantly crashing, there are error messages for every step and click I make, it's glitchy/buggy and I have to double check my bank account to see what kind of order I placed as the app crashes to many times. it's frustrating, specially since I would have bought more things from Wayfair if the app would let me
