Wayward Souls

The soundtrack is stellar ans the rogue-like gameplay is fantastic with various classes and upgrades alongside dungeon upgrades. The problem is the controls. It hurts to play for a long period of time and makes it much more challenging than it should be, often meaning I die a lot. It is a good game though but could do with improvements to controls.

This is a gret game! It says high replay value and that is certainly true. It's challenging, the dungeon is different every play through, and you have multiple characters you can unlock and play. You can level up your characters over time, so if you're stuk, u can grind a lil and move past it. 10/10. 5 stars easily. Worth the money. If you don't want to buy it, you can just get play pass for $2 a month and download it for free. Great game.

I can't stand easy games. This game... Is not easy. It is one of the hardest games I have ever played. The third level feels almost impossible... But i did it! This game becomes weirdly addicting as I am now on the 4th level (after 2 years of play!) which is surprisingly awesome! This level feels what I thought this game should of been a bit more like, binding of Isaac vibes and gives you a chance to upgrade your character! The game is easy to control, smooth, fun, frustrating, extremely hard.

Charming graphics, "ok" story, varied classes/characters (different gameplay style and tactics), good amount of enemies, nice ambience and soundtrack. The upgrades are too expensive: it takes A LOT of time to get the required gold to get all of them for a SINGLE character. Also, most of them don't make much of a difference. Some forge upgrades are very lackluster. The game is hard and punishing. It has been too long since the "next" update has been announced.

Great game. Like a mix of the original Legend Of Zelda games and Pixel Dungron put together. One thing I recommend you change is controls. The movement system can be a bit weird sometimes. I'd like the option to have a definitive D-pad and changing the size and position of said D-pad would be really helpful aswell. Other than that, the game is spot on!

Roguelike with great replayability. Unfortunately paladin will not come anytime soon, but it's still a good game regardless. The best tip I can give you is to USE YOUR ITEMS! If you have anything left at the end of the boss fights then you are too conservative. Don't be stingy and hold on to them, except for certain items like the vitae tonic and aged hourglass for the 3rd dungeon. The only issue is glitchy controls sometimes, buttons would be so much nicer than just swiping.

Its awesome with only one problem. its crashed for several times now which is annoying sometimes even in the mos inconvenient time like when im doing good against amaranth with great scrolls and full health i managed to damage him quite a bit and it crashed. but one time it does one thing good. im at tower floor 6 and it crashed. im pissed but when i reload the game it says i unlocked spellsword which ive been trying to inlock.. and there he is unlocked without clearing the tower yet.. he's my favorite. if you fix the crashing issue that would be much appreciated. thanks a lot.

Game overall is fun but could use some tweaks. I like the movement, but the ability actions are lacking and I almost wish there were buttons instead of the swipes. Also, the dungeons textures can be very similar to one another and make it difficult navigating at times. Worth playing, it's fun

Super good dungeon crawler game, is simple and runs so smoothly and is really fun with decent mechanics. Combat feels much out of control at times and the health system is very tedious but quite realistic and gives the game alot of replayability. Now for the bad stuff, the item mechanics are pretty trash you get an item and end up accidentally using it when no enemies are around really pissed me off! You guys need to put a use button instead not telling us pressing the item actually uses it 🖕

Wonky controls coupled with getting locked in a room with multiple monsters that can shoot in four directions at once. On the second level. I played for a few hours and realized I would eventually shoot my phone out of a cannon, point blank at a brick wall.

love the rougelike aspect of it. it has plenty of replay value in terms of me wanting to try again and again and having fun getting used to each character's abilities and learning enemy tactics. sometimes the movement can be a bit wonky and have me running into enemies when I don't want to but otherwise all around fun game.

So... do not buy it unless its with a discount!! (Glad I waited till that moment) I wanted it to be better.. but there are many problems: the enemy design is questionable (worst case being a kind of invisible enemy, which first appears anywhere close to you and already attacking. They can dl that in groups), upgrading characters is suuuper slow (and rather unnoticeble) and makes each attampt unrewarding, the enemies that fill each room seem left entirely up to the randomizer (so its unbalanced).

I love this game and definitely would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that if you put it in the background of your phone, to say, send a text, or check Facebook... it totally crashes and u have to close it and restart the app... every... single... time... at least on my Galaxy note 10 it does... the devs fix this and I'll gladly give it 5 stars, cuz it's pure quality otherwise

have tried it abit, so far its great. the only problem i have is on movement. moving diagonally feels slightly faster compared to left right up down. this inequality on movement speed makes the camera speed change alot during battle. this makes me motion sick.

I've played through this game and unlocked everything and even gotten to the secret final boss. One of the best games ever period. My only gripe is I wish their was more customizable characters and maybe classes.

One of the better phone games to play, i like the challenge as its not too hard or too easy, high amounts of replayability and the classes often keep me entertained for hours as they all play completely different too each other with their own strengths and weaknesses amd their indivdual forge upgrades, i do wish you update the game to include the paladin from the PC version because the phone doesn't have him yet. Do hope you come back to this. 9/10

All my progress will disappear at a random point because the game didnt close properly. Im afraid to try this now. Hours and hours of progress will just be gone. I doubt they'll remember this game exists and come back to fix it. Use to be great atmosphere and action.

I understand that some folks enjoy pixel art games, but I'm not a fan of retro chic. I've found a few exceptions (usually not overly pixelated), but this game isn't one of them. There are so few pixels in use that I couldn't tell what I was looking at most of the time. Did I pick up a map? Or is it a candle? Or a small zombie? Is this a trail to follow, or is it a bush that will block me? Sound is great, animation is smooth, and it's obviously made with love. 4* but sorry I couldn't enjoy it.
