Work but not complete. I have purchased the app and expected it can migrate my complete conversations along with all their media and docuemtns from my iphone to my new Android phone. I followed the instructions step by step but it turned out some of the conversations and many media were unable to import to my new phone as a result. It kinda fail to do the works. Please advise.

Only the WhatsApp groups backup is showing up. Individual chats and media not showing up. Disappointed! Complete waste of money. I would appreciate if you sort the issue or else refund it. It's not even 24 hours after the purchase.

Honestly, it's the best app out there that can do this for just a one-time payment of $8 ($20-30 yearly or monthly subscriptions are what other apps cost). It's not too hard to use but there will be hiccups on the way because WhatsApp doesn't make the process any easier. Despite that, their website is quite useful and WM has one of the most dedicated support services I've ever seen, sticking with me all the way and often replying in less than an hour. Thoroughly satisfied with this app.

Hi, I am not getting option of "Restore Backup." After I enter the verification code after downloading old whatsapp version it is directlyasking me to enter my name and shows my whatsapp dp. Not getting option to restore backup neither from google drive nor local backup. The backup process step is being skipped. Please help me asap. Thanks in advance

This app seems not to work correctly, but we are hoping that the developers will reply to this issue. When we allow permissions after the intro, it just asks for permissions again and keeps showing the same file structure screen. Please assist

Customer service is amazing. The only drawback is that it takes lot of time. It can take two to three attempts and each attempt can take days hence making it very tedious process Otherwise the App does its job.

Tried migrating my whatsApp from iPhone to Android. Shows that I have some 500k messages and that's split between 101 parts while recovering. And as expected, the process dies in the middle itself. Either help me with the backup or give me a refund. Thanks.

It works but even as an IT person, I had some difficulty making it work 100% on my own. If I had some difficulty, what more to say non-IT users? There really is a need to dive into the whole documentation in order to get it working right or else you'll encounter issues here and there. For example, now you need to download the correct version of WhatsApp and set the media folder correctly but in the video, it is not mentioned. I also feel the documentations can be more intuitive and many manual work can actually be automated like the movement of files.

A reasonable experience. Ultimately this app will work, but you have to jump through a few hoops and the documentation can be lacking at times. The good news is that the developer is very responsive and will look at issues you have. In our case the migration failed the first time around but after some adjustments I was able to make it work. The migration is not exact: voice memos turn into audio clips ans there are some other differences, but chat, pics and video seems to come through OK.

Unfortunately, this app does not work for the Samsung S10. The process is able to go as far as transferring old files over to an old version WhatsApp but they disappear as soon as the newest version is installed. Followed all the steps in the interactive video several times to no avail. Good that it works for most people but frustrating that it does not work for me.

I got many chats with no messages upon migrating, and it's really bad that photos structure keeps the same format as iOS. Having a lot of directories with numbers is not convenient for Android, makes it difficult to see your photos on Google Photos (and also backing them up). I'm not sure if this is a limitation on the photos structure, or is just something that was left this way because it was easy. My overall experience with this was unpleasant

This has to be the best customer support I have ever received! They respond almost immediately, even at the weekend. I had problems with my phone allowing a certain version, in the end they did it remotely for me. The app is great, and works fully. I did a lot of research before going with it, and the others weren't good or trusted. This is the only option available if you want to migrate your Whatsapp from Iphone to Samsung, as far as I'm concerned.

Looked at many options to transfer my WhatsApp data from my iPhone 6s to Samsung S9, after a bit of research this looked like the main resolution. Not the easiest method, but I think it's worked, there were a few issues like recent chats in the wrong order and it said something about not being able to transfer all media. But overall happy as at least I have the majority of years of my chats and media. Annoying that WhatsApp won't let you just transfer the data, but at least we have an app like this.

A bit confusing but it does work! I backed up my iPhone then had to email them for help, they answered very quickly and I got through the whole process in about 2hrs. The 'how to' is not entirely clear and it seemed to me that not all the links are correct/present but the support person sent them via email. I'm very happy with the app and the support team!

This app is great and worth every penny!! I was really worried at the thought of losing all my messages and media when switching to android, but came across this app.. it's not the easiest but you have to follow each step carefully, and you don't have to delete WhatsApp on your old iPhone (so no risk of losing everything!) The support team are really helpful and come back quickly with solutions if you get stuck. Very happy!!

Works! Managed to transfer all my messages and media. Troubleshooting help files were useful but could have been better integrated into step by step instructions. One step I couldn't see in thr instructions but learnt from other blogs is to adjust default privacy settings on your phone to allow WhatsApp access to contacts. Without this, the messages show up as phone numbers. I thought the installation was unsuccessful and repeated the installation several times. Could have avoided this.

I have managed to transfer all my messages and media which included all pictures and videos into my new Android phone (from an iPhone). I had an issue initially and i emailed the team on it and they were very prompt in their response (thank you😊) I solved that issue eventually as it required a certain version of WhatsApp (which was provided to me for downloading). I used that version and then updated it thereafter :) The issue: No backup found when i downloaded WhatsApp.

It worked well for the most part, I followed the instructions exactly, all my messages seem to be there, along with the media. Sadly, none of the links shared between the people I messaged and I were saved, it seems I can't even view links in general, if the past links are gone, I'd at least like a way to view current and future ones. Please help if you have a way to fix it.

For £5 you would expect this to have some bells and whistles; it does have any. If you want to transfer media as well as message text you'll have to splurge extra £30+ to extract the media. Also it doesn't merge messages so make sure you don't restore to a phone with messages on already. It all very manual including downloading a app package for a old version of WhatsApp. All in all wish hadn't bothered!

The app worked and I'm very happy with the result. I would say it is very difficult and the instructions are a little difficult to follow without getting lost. I would say the whole process took me 3-4 hours (factoring in long back up times) so set aside some time to do it. Worth every penny (and hour) to get my Whatsapp restored.

App is not responding after attaching media file. It's closing again n again.

Excellent app!! Was apprehensive about moving from Apple to Android after 10 years and the big issue was not being able to transfer my Whatsapp, after many attempts, I came across this App. An absolute god send! Had a small issue with getting the backup into Whatsapp once i transferred all the data onto my Galaxy S9 (make sure you download the correct version as suggested), messaged the developer and they responded in less than an hour! Great service. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully and it should work no problem.

I wasn't sure if the app would work but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a go. I wanted to transfer my maybe eight years of data from an iPhone 6+ to an Honor 8X. I ran into issues but the support team were brilliant. The tried to help me backing up the data and sending it via Google drive but again I ran into issues after the zip failed. Anyway I had a brainwave of just moving the file using an SD card and bang, it was working within minutes! Recommended app and support team.

It works and I have successfully transferred all my WhatsApp messages and media over, it is not easy to copy and paste but the team is very helpful with almost immediate reply to guide you along. I will highly recommend this app if you need to keep all messages and media as record. Be prepared to wait for hours if you have tons of messages/media. ENJOY!

I am having the same issue a lot of people having, which is I am able to transfer the chats but not the media. I tried everything possible and followed most suggestions, but no success. I am sure it is something I am doing wrong. any help would be appreciated. P.S. I followed the transfer instructions from ibackup viewer step by step which worked for the chat file but not the messages---> media part.

Looked everywhere for a free alternative couldnt find anything that works or was easy to do.finally bought this app, worked like a charm, and the support is great, got reply in just a few hours. Totally recommend to everyone. Ps: not sure if it already does, but would be great if it can do opposite too android-ios when i switch back in a few months

I've used this app to transfer Whatsapp from iPhone to Android on a number of occasions without issue. I recently encountered an issue (I missed a step in the process) transferring my messages and reached out to the support team. They responded within the hour and had me up and running within minutes. I can't recommend this app highly enough - it has always delivered as advertised.
