Very easy to use but how often is the bearing database updated? I scanned 4 different Timken bearings from an authorized supplier and the App is saying that there are no records and/or these may be counterfeits.
I've just bought two SKF bearings from a reputable source and app says " Scanned code not recognised. Please scan again or submit a counterfeit report if this message occurs again" The message does occur again but there is no advice how ro submit a report? I don't find this useful.
Be warned that this app does not yet have data on non-US Timken bearings and incorrectly reports them as invalid. I have confirmed this with Timken.
Useless, checked every bearing in our range even one directly from an OEM source. Every single one "suspicious" cannot trust the results so pointless.
Doesn't help at all. Every qr codes are unrecognizable for this app and submitting a report doesn't work also.
unreliable results., bought a pair of koyo 6203 2RS and only one it says is authentic, the other one is unrecognized, i inspected the the packaging and the bearing itself to the tiniest details but it is the same quality aside from some numbers
It comes with a message 'scanned code not recognized' for my Temken bearing i bought from authorized distributer. not understood and not in the clarification list
A waste of time. This relies on barcode to tell you but barcodes can be copies. A joke.
Doesn't work.. couldn't 3ven connect or synchronise data. Waste of time.
The QR CODE Scanner is not focusing that is why I cannot authenticate the bearing.
