Not very easy to navigate. Can't ever find newer stories. Usually only find between 2 and 4 new stories per day or every other day and can't figure out how to find the rest of them. Sometimes I don't receive notifications for a day or sometimes 2 days.
The only complaint is that when there is a traffic incident in the notifications, the verbal description only appears in the notification (unless I just need to be taught how to find it within the app.). In my experience, once you click on the notification, you get the map which shows congestion with colors, but in the case of such information, the verbal is at least as helpful as the map, and often more so, especially if the estimated clear-away or reopening time wasn't memorized.
WBIR is my go to on tv but the app has just gotten worse. I will get a notification and click it and half the time it won't come up nor can I find the article by searching. Also everything is a video now. I can't just watch a video at work. I can read an article quickly. Switching news apps. Very dissappointed.
Horrible app. It crashes CONSTANTLY and EVERY single video plays for a brief moment, then is cut off by a black screen and a commerical takes absurdly long to load. (I have an excellent data plan) After many of the commercials, which are apparantly more important than the news in which I downloaded the app for, the news video NEVER even comes back up! Don't waste space and time, just go Google the weather and download SMARTNEWS, which has ZERO ads and customizable news worldwide and local.
Getting news at my fingertips is great when I want to know something. I don't watch the news because it's mostly depressing. Thank you so much.
I like not having to watch news on television in order to keep up to date with news stories but I have requested notification and never recieve them I have deleted the app and reinstalled. I have even changed phones and service and downloaded and I still don't get the notification. It's quite frustrating so I'll only give a 2 star
Perfect local news source app. Only flaw for me is not having a option icon to mirror live video to a tv. Perfect option for people running streaming devices and don't want to to carry around a extra remote and switch back and forth from streaming device to basic antenna for local news.Thanks
I love to watch Channel 10 news for the home town stories and also the more nightly national headlines. Great news without just the blood and gore that one of the other local stations report on all the time. Great job guys, keep it up! App works nicely. No issues.
National emergency = 3 minutes of ad's!!! They send out notificationsabout a local state of emergency, but in order to watch the video you have to watch 3 minutes of ads for a game on your phone before that let you get any important information. I'm going to try to find another appso I can get important and accurate information without having to wait for an advertisement for Candy crush !!! 😡😡😡
I get notifications about everything all day even though I opted out for everything but weather and school closings. It is rage inducing when I just get the baby to sleep and my phone alerts me about sports or some other nonsense. I do like the app and find it easy to navigate so it gets two stars.
I only wanted this app for local weather and school closure notifications yet it constantly spams me all day. I have to constantly turn off the random news notifications it selects through out the day. It would be nice if your selection of push notifications actually mattered vs them forcing constant ones you're not interested in.
Very helpful during the flooding, rockslides, mudslides: I knew all the places in East TN not to go. The video page/activity was a little weird - each video in the feed had a different heading, but the same (live?) video played.
This news app is well done, the writers are actually literate--which can't be said for the WVLT app I was previously using--and the content relevant and interesting. I haven't used it extensively yet, but it seems to be organized and user friendly.
The new ui is laggy and not easy to navigate. I need categorisation. The ads are final straw though. I am not sitting through a boring 30 second ad to watch a short video every single time. I love WBIR but this app needs attention.
A good, reliable source for local news and a lot of national news. Their bias tends to lean a bit too far to the left but the stories they report on aren't only just the gloom and doom/ the sky is falling but has local news that'll give you away least one reason to smile!
Great content and nice look to the site. The only issue I have had is that when I click on the weather forecast it kicks me out of the app. Have tried reinstalling and it does the same. 5 stars with this proble solved.
Way too many alerts. There's no way of customizing the alerts to get just what you want. I get alerts all hours of the night so I just took the app off. All I wanted was just weather and school alerts for my area only. Edited to add that I'm upset that we can't live stream the live broadcast on the firesfick like we could on the roku

The old app was faster and easier to navigate. The new app is not available on Kindle and old one no longer works. Thinking of changing to another local news app.
The station with a genuine Heart for the Knoxville and Eastern Tennessee viewing audience. I appreciate their reporting of the news, without adding partisan political views. Just the news and reports of good things around the area make them our "go to" station preference! Happy New year to the staff and families!
Good app but... The UI needs some work and improvements. Notifications don't work consistently when you tap on them to view the article.
Very easy to use,follow and follow up on if you are in a have to know bases or not. Very helpful in all area's of local and national subjects.
Old app was much better and I was able to stay current and informed easily. The new app is clunky and much less streamlined. WBIR was my go to for local coverage but sadly I'm deleting it now for a better local app.
Great place to read local news, weather, and sports coverage. Also has a "Watch Live" option when live news are being broadcast on TV.4App has a lot of ads that slow the app
Best station Period! Most Professional and Reliable folks who deliver the news and weather. Delivered in a relaxed comfortable way, no pretensions. Most Professional Weather team by far!!! Delivery is flawless, they are very comfortable in front of that green screen, and obviously know the subject at hand. No staring at the prompter while pretending to look at at us, or misplaced hands when referring to the place on the map they are talking about.
