Not good for driving at all. I've lived in NY all my life born and raised Bushwick. Then Jamaica Queens. I moved to NC so a little piece of home is this WBLS App. But it keeps stopping. I'm going to kill myself trying to get it to play. I only have audio for Bluetooth so whenever my phone rings or anything it stops playing. Also there are commercials in the broadcast so why in the world does the app needs commercials?
This app is garbage. It won't play at all. If I could rate it zero I would. I love WBLS and it's a shame that their app doesn't work. The developers should make sure that it works and/ or fix it if it has issues. The error message is streaming error 403!
Enjoy the 🎶 but... the app keeps stopping, NOT buffering, STOPPING. I find that incredible unuseful, in the current times I need to not have to touch my device when I'm away from home. Please fix and notify me and then I'll re install the app.
As someone who loves WBLS, this app is straight trash. Ads from different parts of the country that are unrelated and the interruptions of music constantly is extremely asinine. Figure out a way for you to get you ad revenue without using the consumers as guinea pigs. This is the wrong way to grow your presence in the digital space.
It only plays for a minute then starts playing commercials. I missed a whole one hour show because it kept shutting off and playing commercials. Worse app ever!!!!!
it's really sad that when my screen times out the app closes too. I miss listening in the morning. No stars. it won't post with no stars so I had to put one....
App plays for about 15min then shuts off. Very disappointed. Love the music when it's working.
I've been listening to this in 2014 or 2013 if I get the year correct and it's amazing! Thanks 107.5 WBLS and WBLS HD1 New York! You're still the number 1 for R&B!!
Not good, I live in Columbus OH . And the app keeps cutting off . I was in IN , and Detroit . Same.

Living outside of NY for the 20+ years, and it's great to hear my favorite music and DJ's.
Since update too many ads and music keeps stopping. Iheart is better

App shuts down when phone screen times out/goes black to concerve battery. Galaxy s9+.

I have 2 take this app off my phone. Works only when the light on my phone is on. As soon as the light cuts off I hear nothing, it cuts off & doesn't play. I see all the negative reviews r correct however I am very surprised. I grew up listening 2 WBLS in the 80's. WBLS has been around a long time. If this app is not going 2 work as soon as I put my phone down, it's useless 2 have it on my phone. My note 9 is new so it's not my phone.
