Doesn't easily become full screen. I have to watch additional ads to move the weather to full screen because it starts over, as if I ended the viewing.

Can no longer rotate on "watch" mode on my phone. It rotates but only shows the station logo, no video. I can only see video on the tiny screen.

I've been watching WCSH News for the last 40 years so I'd really like to see an app that lives up to their broadcast standards. Unfortunately, this app is far from it! It has a confusing layout and WAY too many ads. Most importantly it lacks any support for streaming services. More often than not, I close it out before finding anything I'm looking for...

I receive alerts on my phone to see what they're streaming live but can never view it bc it never loads. Same with the weather blogs. I also receive alerts on my phone that the app has stopped working but I didn't have it open in my browser. The only thing I can do is read the news. Even sharing the articles doesn't always work.

this app is horrible. backs up every few minutes and if you try to reboot you have to go through same commercial over and over, then it just backs up again. there's also a constant tagged ad stream across the bottom you cant remove which is probably part of the problem.

The app design is confusing — for instance, multiple forms of weather reports in many, many places. It tells me to "tap the star" to bookmark topics I'm interested in but there's no star to tap. Clicking on "discover topics" does nothing. I am using this app for emergency weather alerts but will avoid using it otherwise.

I uninstalled it very quickly. I selected to only be alerted about closings, then received alerts for other subject from the red Sox or what they were going to report about that night. I even double checked to make sure I only had closings selected for alerts and I did.

Still crashes/restarts whenever I click on a story link. Purged app data, uninstalled/reinstalled. No good. Now it's asking for sign-in info. Why? Uninstalling for good this time. UPDATE: Older phone not supported. Oh well... not worth spending $1k for a new one just to get NewsCenter app.

it,s a good app. and I like the layout, but frequently the videos won't load, or the ads make the screens open too slowly. I have a new device, so I think it's you, not me.

Was working fine.done latest update while back.starting 3days ago it stopped working.some error out of the blue.uninstalled and redownladed.still no go.my end ???

Great app. Easy to use, optioanal push notifications keep you informed of local, national and even world news stories if you want them, and the graphic design is very nice to look at.

What's with the long drawn-out intro every time I want to launch the app? Instead perhaps skip the choppy animation baring your logo. It's like five whole seconds delay. That is a very long time.

I gave up cable and this app at least gives me some news and weather updates. I deleted this app, because I just wanted to be able to turn it on and watch the local news and weather. Channel 8 offers that.

Navigation could be smoother and videos aren't updated frequently. Would be better with text updates that were more timely. Weather for example is often 4+ hours behind.

I find that often the app will not go to the story but will jump back to the headline. It's very annoying. Also why are weather forecasts left up five days after the fact. Awful app.

No search button. Saw an article about a major road closing, tried to click on it, then had to update because the app was frozen. Tried looking for the article, no search button. Uninstalled.

This app has so many ads and clickbait I almost feel it's dangerous to use. It's too bad, they used to have a great website with information that easily accessible. This " new" version is junk.

This app is pretty great actually! I've had some moments when it just stops and most of the time it's great!! I love News Center Maine we start our day with you all everyday! Thank you for all you people do for us❤❤

When are you going to fix the bugs from your last update? The app shuts down if I try to click on an article. This is my only source of news and the election is just around the corner and winter is coming.

Love getting the info ,but watching clips could flow better. Often loops back to old clips after the one clicked on.

does not update enough .weekend is unreliable(people still work on the weekend and get up early.were a fishing state) you guys preseant the weather as if everyone works inside most of maines income is frome the water but you dont spend any time talking about it.we like knowing as closely as you can when the wind will pick up out there i miss the old news center team

Way too many ads, very old stories, and seems to be rarely updated. If it's old news who cares? News moves too fast for this app.

Very informative with much variety. Keeps everyone updated on Covid-19 info. It it so nice to follow a station which verifies information released concerning specifics about the pandemic and information that just doesn't make sense. You provide the humorous, heartbreaking, educational, inspirational, and many other newsworthy comments each day to keep the public informed of what is happening in their area, across their country, and around their world.

Notifications never go to the story. Too many ads, also hard to navigate. Bring back the old one.

Very poor on the local news, every time I open up it's always been political coverage mostly on a national basis. Trying to find out anything on a local basis like what's going on in the town you live is almost impossible.

I only have it for the weather but the news is a bonus. Feel like the app still needs a few tweaks to run smoother.
