WCVB Boston Weather

I loved this app, used it daily, and mourn it's passing. Please bring it back!!!!

I hope WCVB changes their mind and decides to keep this weather-only app available (the WCVB news app is not worth it for getting weather), or I'll sadly have to change loyalty to another local station weather app. For Boston weather, this is my favorite weather app. Easy to read, attractive format and colors (light text over dark background), customizable alerts, and nice to have video forecast without having to sit through news or commercials on TV.

This WAS the best weather app for the region. They shouldn't have discontinued it. I downloaded the new one briefly. It was garbage. Ate up battery, too much of what I didn't want/need in terms of content. Sometimes you just want the damn WEATHER & the school closings list!

This was Absoultely the best app. I used it all the time. Especially in the winter for snow n ICE. If it's not broke, why fix it. Very upset to see this app go

This weather ONLY app WAS GREAT, I liked the user experience ...I do NOT like the news and weather app at all, that was pushed on me as this app was deluted out of existence ..Weather and weather only, is what I wanted, not news, junk and commercials....SAD!

Used to be great but if you liked it download the the WBZ 4 weather app. It is basically the same app that WCVB was using before they abandoned it.

Videos dont work after watching the ads.

Suddenly your weather app is not working at all...just silence followed after an ad!! What's going on???? I gave feedback to News 5 regarding this on going problem! In the mean time, I deleted your app! (Not to be ignored, so please look into it! Thank you!

I have this app on more than one device. BUT..... with my phone, I am unable to get the video forecast. I select the forecast, the add plays and then nothing. What's going on? It works on my tablet and computer but not my phone.

The ads have become obtrusive..Recently the ads continued to play until I uninstalled the app..Closing the app wasn't good enough..annoying enough that I may not reinstall...Too bad too, I really liked it until recently

Easy to find out about weather

The merry-go-round was neat at first, but for an outside worker that checks this app a lot the sliding animation got old fast and is now very frustrating, especially when you go around the wrong way... swipe swipe swipe swipe... The weather information is great, I love WCVB, but the swiping!

I like this app because it comes from wcvb tv. Harvey Leonard is the best out there. Sometimes it runs a little slow but it has great options.

Awesome App But

I liked this app better before they started pushing out multiple notifications a day. Most of the time now I see a video camera icon instead of the temperature, and it's for a video I don't care about. Give me a way to limit these notifications to important weather alerts please!

It works okay, but I would really like to know why it needs Bluetooth access. It seems unnecessary.

Video viewer: unable to turn off cc -- WCVB logo takes up too much screen real estate. Why do stations do that? People know which broadcast they are watching. It's an insult to one's intelligence and takes away from what is being reported. BTW it's not just this app.😼🐼

Easy to use , accurate and you do not have to be a meteorologist to figure how to use it. It keeps crashing so i deleted it. Sorry please fix it

The app works great BUT the Radar keeps freezing my phone... If you can fix that it will be an awesome app..

Low tech widget, I expected more from WCVB, B&W and nothing worth seeing, no wind chill, no dew point, back to Accu Weather a much better widget.

Just stopped working and still eats up the battery. Awful app
