The new update seems more like a backdate. It's a remedial look, and the tiles don't seem to work very well. I can't immediately bring up the most recent news stories from the from page. I liked the previous version much better.
App takes forever to load, then immediately shows an ad, then forever to load again if it loads at all this time, then doesn't show the article sent in the notification. I'll stay updated through other channels.
App is slow to start. Then in the middle of reading the headlines a "THANK YOU FOR USING THE APP" appears covering half the screen. It can't be removed and makes using the app impossible.
The new update constantly jumps to blank screen. The tiles are terrible. Can we have the old version back?? Downloaded 5/27 update. Result: nothing has improved.
I had to uninstall a month ago, because the app wouldn't let me use my phone. I have reinstalled and uninstalled 4 times in the last week!
Way to many adds. Gas price to doesn't show gas prices and never has for me. Alerts are sent that aren't important. I can go on and on.
I installed new app, not sure if I am doing something wrong, but when you open app, it's all channel 3 jackson news, where is our local news?
This app doesn't work. When you click on a story, it disappears after 10 seconds!
Hate the new app. Doesn't work right and too much stuff covering what your trying to read.
Just terrible with the latest updates, ads repeating, just removed it from my phone.

Great Wish Carson ( Jefferson Davis County) was included in the Pinebelt news and weather. It was when we moved here in 2017. We are closer to Hattiesburg than Jackson.
It would send me notifications and then it wouldn't ever open

It's my home town news thats local for the area that Im from originally. Sylvarena, Ms. Highway 18, between Raleigh, MS, and Bay Springs, MS.

What happened too the wdam tv 7 first alert weather app? Or is it now just the wdam news app ?
While reading a story, it just disappears. A blank screen with WDAM at the top shows. There are no buttons to touch to correct it. It happens with every story. There is a glitch in the app, but WDAM seemsbto be unaware.
