Free version works 100%, Donate (Paid) Version unable to connect. When it connects it works for a short while and then again nothing...

I have been using this app for my WDXLTV for a while. Has always worked great, but I upgrade to 4.2.1 the other day and it no longer works. Had to revert back to 4.1.2 to get it to work again. Please update so I can increase the rating from a 4 to a 5.

Downloaded the free version to test on my WDTV Live box and it works a treat. So I thought I would buy the ad free version. Not a good idea as at present the Ad Free version just keeps on crashing. I then uninstalled and tried again and now I cannot even get the ap to download. I have emailed the developer but not had a response! Now had a response from Developer and the App now works very well.

App launches but does not connect to device after 4.3 update. Disappointing lack of development in general.

This app is amazing when paired with the wdlxtv firmware. Considering how small and mediocre the factory remote is, this is a lifesaver. It has a keyboard option, and you don't have to point it directly at the WD unit. I was hesitant to buy the full version since the free one was a little buggy, but paying the $1.49 seems to have fixed everything :). A page up/down button would make this version perfect, since navigating large lists can be a little tedious.

No update since May 2012. Always loses connection. Can't remember which WD TV live is in which room. Official app is better so far.

this app has more features than the official app. they pushed a change forcing me to use the swipe or "gesture" functionality and I hated it, it barely worked at all. this app provides toggleable gesture to pad functionality. awesome app. thanks for your hard work!

Official App has major connection problems, this alternative works every time and has all the functionality I need. 4 stars because the interface could be laid out better, which is only thing the official App does right.

but it does more, and better. I'd prefer the letters to show up on screen as they are typed instead of having to hit "send."

Its great better than supplied remote! Good support too, had a little problem with memory....dev was quick to respond and fixed the problem, fantastic!

Has to have the data and cache cleared every few uses or it won't load. KitKat smart 4 turbo

I had been waiting for the apps what works with WDLXTVPLUS custom FW. Purchased it right away...Who wants adds when you are trying to watch a movie.

Was working perfectly (4.1.2) now with the updated Android versions (4.2 and 4.3) NO it does not! Dev, please fix this issues...make it compatible with the latest and future version of Android ..... that's why 3*

Unlike the official WDLive remote app which doesn't find my box most of the time, this works every time.

Awesome app, been looking for a remote app for my WDTV Live! Only issue I've notices so far is that it crashes on my rooted Nook Color tablet every time I switch to landscape mode. Might be a custom ROM issue though.

Stopped working after last update which changed how it works completely. Made it useless. So glad I bought it before they broke it. Save your money for something that works. Free is too expensive for this.

It is mostly fast and convenient. The only problem I have with it is when I am connecting through the network. I often have to refresh or force the connection. Otherwise, it's fantastic, worth a purchase. Remember how much a universal Remote used to cost?

One of the best apps on my phone! Didn't previously notice that you had to swipe for the power button to appear :)

i bought this donate version as it worked awesome. since then theres been a firmware upgrade on the wdtv, now it just crashes out. the ad version still works, so go figure?

Great app to use in place of the remote. Just need be able to delete text already typed in the search function.

I have 2 WD units (1 upstairs and one in the lounge) . This app allows me to control either with my phone better than the original remote's. I did have a problem after one of the upgrades but the developer, Juliojs fixed it in hours. What fantastic service. In short, if you have a WD unit get this, it is cheap, works fantastic and has brilliant developer support. 100% get it.....
