Decent app., too much info being displayed at once. Need to simplify for easier use. It takes too long to figure out how to get the information you want. Needs to have all of the basic info on one simple page,, like temp, humidity, U.V. index, cloud cover, rainfall, etc. without flipping through numerous pages and charts. As is, it takes too long to get informed. What people need not to do is spend so much time getting the facts. Other apps have all the same stats, but at a single, quick glance.
Absolutely perfect. This is the best weather app I've ever used and boy have I tried a lot. It has hourly weather changes, weekly forecasts, widgets, and even a weather radar that you can change to 8 different categories such as wind, rain, snow, temperature, and humidity. I was actually suprised this wasn't a corporate app of some kind. Kudos!
For the most part it's a great app, easy to use, weather is pretty accurate, and has all the important features. I would have given it 5 stars but it just has one small issue that drives me nuts.... the locator is always off just a little bit. Even though I programmed my address into it, it always shows the address across the street. Sometimes it's as much as 1 or 2 blocks off. Which is at least still within the area I guess, just OCD 😁
Since Google news/weather was recently "improved", I've cycled thru various attempts at both. Most of the weather apps I've tried have come up very short; obvious inability to display current weather, obnoxious ads (hey, I know someone has to pay the bills, but let me at least read the screen), and a desire to take over lock screen, home screen, etc. This app does what it's supposed to, with plenty of info, nicely organised, and reasonable space devoted to ads (not to mention an option to pay to make it ad free which I might avail myself of if the program stays friendly). Nice. Very nice.
I have been using this since 2018 and it's still one of the best. Fantastic free app! Yes there are still ads (and some in a foreign language) but you don't have to click on them except to go past them. The 2nd part is where you will find a world map where I have also downloaded that too. Amazing graphics on how temperature and winds are all around the world. Even shows waves of the sea! High quality thanks
Most informative weather program I have used. Only problem I have encountered is the ability to get the weather in some other areas of the US I would like to follow. For the areas I can get, no other program can compare. Update- problem is fixed. Now it is absolutely the best weather program I have ever had. Nothing else is comparable.
Great potential, but major flaw. The app will completely kills the battery very quickly, the app alone has drained 7% in 3/4 hours on an note 8. It's cut my phone battery life in half, even though I'd only open it once or twice for a minute at a time. This was just while the app was running in the background, probably due to having a app widge. The app shouldn't be using anywhere near as much battery. It should only be when the app is open or the widge information is updated/refreshed manually. If this flaw could be fixed I'd definitely buy an ad free version, the satellite world map is amazing alone.
I enjoy the app very much. It is easy to navigate and understand. Only thing I would like is a lock code in order to open the lock screen function. Ads are of course a part of all free apps, but if they could be kept at the bottom of the screen at all times that would be new and innovative. Thnx for your app creation and may you continue to have success.
I downloaded this for one day. The whole day it said either that it was drizzling or that there was possible drizzle. I live in Arizona, there was not a cloud in the sky the entire day and it only "drizzles" here about 3 times a year at the most. Even the radar on the app showed nothing on it. I like the layout, seems easy to use but I don't know where they pull the current weather from.
Like the app, however, the widgets available do not all come up on the screen the way they show in the widget folder. And if you choose to use the widget that actually has the hourly on it, if you tap the hourly to look ahead, it won't go back unless you remove the whole widget from your screen and then reapply. If you choose the widget with just hourly weather, it comes up as daily weather instead.
Compared about 20 weather appppss. This one was promising. Not too many ads and easy to use. Nice widget and functions. Unfortunately, information about current conditions in my area (Estonia) were often wrong or outdated. Possibly, this is because weather provider is giving such information, but for me it makes this app useless.
This app changes the settings on my phone completely. They way I scroll thru my setting apps. Why? This shouldn't have any reason to change the performance of my phone. I spent hours trying to find out why? When I go to my apps and it used to scroll up and down easily thru my apps and after using this weather app it changed it to having to swipe left to right. Maybe not a big deal to others but if it changes how you interact with your phone then what else does it change? Uninstalled.
One of the better weather APPS I have used. I find the interface easy and setting the options easy as well to get what I want shown. Wind speed would be a nice option. Overall, a very good App to use and extremely accurate. Settings are some but effective and allow the user to configure as needed.
I have cycled through a lot of weather apps and deleted them all for everything from the stats being way off to them not being easy navigate. This app is by far the best I've found. The info is clear, organized and easy to access/take in. It has everything that I care about such as an hourly break down and the chance of rain. I love that it gives me a quick pop up every morning of what the day will look like. So glad I found this app.
Looks good and it's smooth but lacks the pinpoint ability to pick specific weather stations like weather underground. I find the accuracy is directly influenced by that. I also found it odd that the map showed temperatures considerably different than the real time data showing on the weather stations while cross referencing in real time (about 10°f off in accuracy). I also noticed how this app would claim it's raining when others show snow, and looking out the window revealed snow.
OK weather app but one of the worst for pop-up ads. No Severe Weather Alerts. I still don't know what the temperature bars are supposed to indicate. A 29 degree change has a smaller bar than the next day with a 19 degree change. The radar has never worked for me - it simply won't load.
I think this app would deserve a 4.5 rating. In the three weeks that I have used it, it has been more accurate than 4 other apps that I used. However, there are issues: 1. I downloaded this app understanding that there would be advertisements, not that these advertisements would be popping up on my screen when the app is closed. 2. the evening temp's are confusing. it would be easier to have the daily temperature on top and the upcoming night's temp. on bottom instead of the prior night's temp.
I think when you design this app you need to put it so you can see the letters a little better they're not large enough. I cannot see the print on the display of the weather app done into fine of a font and needs to be a little bolder. other than that it set up perfectly but the display and the fuss are not big enough and not solid enough to see the are too fine
The app works fine to give a snapshot of what may be currently going on in an area and what may happen throughout out the day. I consult this one daily to help plan my day. I've utilized it for a number of years, and it fits my needs. It is simple and provides lots of other information I like to have available. If you think this, or any other app can predict the weather accurately, you're deceived. It is a tool, nothing more. Thank you to the programmers for providing a decent tool.
