Weather Channel Wallpaper

It's a decent live weather background, but you have to pay for almost every single weather effect (without which it's basically useless). You can earn points for free to unlock effects, but every time I opened the app I lost most of the points I'd earned. The full unlock doesn't cost a lot, but I refuse to pay for an app that tries to scam me like that. I uninstalled and switched to YoWindow instead.

I really like the effects but it won't let me take the survey, or share it with my friends, or invite my friends, and those are the easiest ways to earn points for the cooler backgrounds. Other than that it's really good! I like the feature where I can set it so that the more clouds there are the less color is in my background photo!

Bought Pro version and its still a bit janky. The greyscale effect for when it is cloudy is simply on all the time, even when the weather is clear according to the app itself. Ive checked to make sure I did not hit the "adjust color regardless" option, I am certain that I only have the greyscale turned on when it is cloudy. My screen is just gray 24/7 while its sunny out. The rain effect I chose wont work either. It just uses a different one. It just simply wont use the one I keep selecting. 👎

Absolutely brilliant if you can stick through the arduous but easy set up process. once you do though it's an amazing app that ads the current weather effects (or random ones if your a spaz) overlaid onto your wall paper. I haven't had any problems with UI interference at all or battery life problems. I do wish there was an effect for clouds though instead of just color adjustments. I consider this app to be money well spent.

so its been almost a year since i uninstalled the apps and i still dont get all the conditions that i paid for. super disappointed. So its been back for a week or so and it seems to be working well again. i could even wipe the screen again today. i still have some xed out content that should be available to me and hopefully that will straighten out. But you kniw, i cant miss what i never had, right. even if i have paid for it.

This is a OK app but I don't want it to finish here. It has amazing potential but the animations could be improved and when I pick my image, it doesn't fit to the screen so needs some scaling settings added. I wanted this because I'll loved the weather overlay on the old HTC sense years ago but they stopped it. make this like that and I will hive you 5 stars and pay money. At this moment in time, this app isn't good enough to be on my phone but I really want to like it more.

I really like this app. I had used "weather now' by hamsterbeat but it is no longer supported by its maker so I searched for one like it. this one is a close as I have found. only disappointment I have found is that the snow does not 'fall down" like the rain. it just puts white still pix on the screen.would be nice if snow fell like the rain does. otherwise I really like it, very few I have found that let you use your own photo.

This app might be a scam. I installed it trying to put weather effects on my lock screen. The app looked to be able to do what I wanted so I upgraded to paid. The app would only let me put a still stock image as my wallpaper with no effects. I uninstalled it and went to reinstall cause maybe it downloaded wrong and it was asking me to buy the app again! What a scam. That means that even if you had bought the app and liked it then you would have to repurchase it with your new device.

Awful. doesn't change wallpaper most of the time and when it does the app can't crop my image correctly. There are no options to crop my image to how I want it. Weather settings just says England and i cant imput my City. Grey scale when cloudy doesnt work and Poorly cropped images are just grey all the time, even tho there isn't a cloud in the sky.The animations are bad and overall user experience is not up to standard on S10. Not worth 2.49 to unlock. Needs work and should be in beta

This app is really cool, but it crashes a LOT and occasionally will just reset my wallpaper to a non-animated pink image. It also says it does snow in the title, but I have seen no options for snow. If the devs fixed the stability issues, I'd give it a much higher rating.

NG. Does not do as it says it does. No effects based on real time weather. Just filled with errors. No good effects even if you pay. Says inconsistency or inaccurate info is based on the weather app you are using. Not true. I've changed my app a few times and it still doesn't work.

Unhappy and uninstalled it. It really messed with the color on the background photo and it never looked right. It's also annoying that there is only ONE option for everything if you don't purchase it. It's not worth buying if I can't even get it to not mess with my colors.

I'm Back from iOS! I enjoy this app even more so than YoWindow who I also paid for premium features for, because it doesn't randomly stop working. However, I'd love to see a snow effect besides a frozen screen and maybe a better weather forecast when actually opening the app. Other than that, I love it.

So I have the full unlocked version, and no rain effects, and no darkening with animated stars at night, or able to "wipe away" the rain or fog. Other than that it is really neat. I hope someone can get back to me and help me fix it. :(

Graphics are great. Day/night is great. What isn't great is the temperature is NEVER correct. It doesn't update. For example its 3:32 pm ; local weather says its 50 ° F yet this app still says its 38°F . Fix this problem and I'll give you the last two stars.

Can't set screen. Very difficult to impossible to set the weather screen you want despite paying for full access. Doesn't reliably change with live weather. Good idea, but really bad App.

Few and low quality effects. On note 20 ultra the effects are stretched lengthwise, causing them to look very bad. Looks like rendering in 25fps, maybe lower

Would be great if it can overlay anything. I already have a really great parralax wallpaper, so I just wanted this to overlay the wallpaper I already have from a different app. I bought this because it said use with any wallpaper. Such a pity. Maybe you can change the functionalty in a future version

I got the free version and liked it enough that I got the effects unlocked! I can't wait for the ice effect this winter :) It didn't show me the unlocked stuff at first, but uninstalling and reinstalling did the trick!

its very accurate the only thing that i wld like to see is to have more options for the weather. example if its really snowing outside the app makes it look like its flurries.

Background image is not live but static, and stretched completely out of proportion across the screen. No way to adjust it. Pixel 3 XL, Android Q.
