I liked it better when it was a widget that I could see open all the time on my home screen. And there's a really irritating number 1 notification alert signal that has shown up on the app shortcut that won't go away. It doesn't give me any indication what it's referring to and I can't get it to go away! Really irritating everytime I look at the shortcut!
Have been using it for a while without fault, recently tried to change the alarm app which opens when you tap on the widget. Unfortunately, you can't add other apps besides those within this app already. Hopefully next update allows you to add a link to 3rd party alarms and calendars.
Firstly, I found this while searching for an app that would push weather information to my smartwatch, in fairness it doesn't say that it does, and it doesn't. I bought it, and then found this out within a few minutes, so I uninstalled, as it's not what I wanted. Maybe my error in even trying. Secondly - despite the fast uninstall, there is no sign of my refund. 😕
I have been using this app since 2016 and I love it. About a week ago there was an Android update to version 11 and since then my alarm does not work. After a lot of searching I found that there is a new app, Clock. It's defaults are to shut off all notifications. I missed work two days in a row because of the alarm not working.
I've used this app for several years because I liked look of the desktop widget, but the weather data has consistently been inaccurate and I've tried both sources. New England weather is supposedly unpredictable, but my coworkers always seem to get accurate data from their online sources / local news.
Great app but it would be better if I could choose from more weather providers such as Australian BOM. I also wish I could set it to use Outlook for the calendar/events calendar. Apart from that this is the best weather and clock app/widget I've used and still more customizable than any others I've tried.
The native weather widget would only update when I tapped on it... very weak so I decided to look for something better. Noticed a few people have or had issues at least according to the reviews but I decided to give it a go anyway and after the short amount of time I have been using it so far no problems.
Used app for about 5 years alltogether, first free version and + - 2 years ago got the pay verson to get rid of adverts. I use the app on 3 Android PCs and also on my phone. About 6 month ago the app stopped updating weather info on my PCs. Then I installed the free version + everything was OK. 1 week ago I reinstalled the pay version and I had many apps that crashed. I uninstalled the app and my problems disappeared. On my telephone I did not have this problem. Please test apps properly ....
This is by far the best weather and clock combo I have found, and I've tried 15-20 of the top play store hits. This one should be at the top! Lots of options for widgets, nicely displayed, can hook calendar and clock of widget to any app, weather is accurate with lots of weather options in app, app feels mature and stable. Simply put, excellent weather app and now my favorite! It is well worth the purchase price!
A superior app. Much better than the competition. Great detail, good graphics, loads of cool features. Although, I didn't see a radar section, but maybe I haven't searched thru the app enough. Overall, an outstanding weather app, the best I've seen.
It's a pretty good weather app. I like the transparent widget. The reason for the low rating is the constant nags for a rating AND the app opens by itself at random times, causing untold problems when trying to use my phone. Just another (purchased) app to the trash heap.
I am finding that this app is not working properly and makes me get a bit frustrated. I believe that the developer needs to look into the issue of the app no longer functioning as it should. I have lodged a previous review and have not received any response. If you want your customer base to give you a 5 star review, then let's see you work on the issue of not getting proper weather reading and the display showing the watch battery level accurately. Thnx.
beautiful widgets, lots of customization, but would improve the radar, the time is moving too fast, you don't really see the clouds/thunder movements over time, instead of the play button you need to manual move the slider the main menu isn't so beautiful, as the rest of the app otherwise app is great, just would improve those things, then 5/5
Developer says to blame Google Maps for positioning errors. I use 5 apps that use google maps and gps. This the ONLY one with a 250 metre error. All the others are accurate to 2 metres. How can that be? Good program otherwise. Nice widget that I use on my home screen. I like everything EXCEPT positioning.
Love this with one qualification. There's a bug in the widget config that displays full day calendar events as starting one day earlier than they do. (I've long since submitted a bug report; no results). The configurability of the widget is without compare. Recommended.
Love the fact that this app is configurable with many available widget styles, which include options for displaying the clock and alarm status. I set the "theme" (under display settings) to "dark". This enables a cleaner look, without the heavy cloud graphic, in my opinion.
I like the functionality of this app in terms of the widget, but the two weather providers they use are not very good/accurate, which is unfortunate. I'm not sure why they don't let users select other, better weather providers? I have also not been able to figure out how to use the radar, even though there appears to be a setting for this.
I've had this for a week and I like it more and more. Would like to see a moon phase widget maybe and perhaps more options for weather providers....weathering, accuweather, msn... just a thought. I love all the options and widget choices. Keep this going!
This is a great app to use on your phone. I was using a different app before however the developer does not provide updates. This app provides a great customizable widget that is easy to access and looks great on my phone. I highly recommend it.
I've been a user and a fan of this widget for the longest time, due to its ability to show hourly weather right in the main screen, besides being highly configurable. Recently it gained the ability to show longer intervals (3h), which allows me a quick glance of what I can expect for the whole day. That was the only feature I was missing, and I got it in the free version! I'm more than happy to pay for the premium version of the app.
